This was an absolutely wonderful Spring Break getaway I have ever had. Mark was very easy to work with and very accomodating. I was very nervous about renting a house through this site and from completely strangers. Mark was always available and quick to respond. He sent us a text to check on us over the weekend. We actually had to call him Sunday because we were running late since we wanted to clean up and make sure it was just as pretty as when we arrived. He responded immediately. Way to create 'Raving Fans'. The house is very homey and welcoming. We had more than enough room with our group. The back yard is so beautifu if you love to hang out by the fire and cook smores and have a cocktail. My niece and her friend spent the weekend on the hammock or playing the videos games that are on the property. My son was on the basketball court or running in the yard all weekend. Something to do for everyone. We have just reserved the house for a second weekend. I love this place and Mark. Thank you for sharing this wonderful gem with me and my family. Treasure House is the perfect place for a weekend getaway! My friends and I had a wonderful time. The house is spacious, well equiped and the area is very pretty. We truly enjoyed our stay! Mark, the owner, has been very helpful and responsive. He even texted us during the weekend to see if we needed someone to plow the snow. I would definitively recommend the Treasure House to everyone!

"The Treasure House" is just that....a "Treasure" in the woods! Very conveniently located but far enough that you're away (only 6 miles!) from the hustle and bustle of downtown attractions. Upon entering, you will be impressed with the layout, decor, cleanliness and amenities offered. Everything we needed was there, such as dishes, glasses, cookware, utensils and bedding, which made us feel right at home. While there, we enjoyed Christmas and Cascade Mtns. as well as the "Moosejaw" restaurant. We have told all of our friends and family what a wonderful place this is and they now want to rent it, too! The price is right! Mark is wonderful to work with and was very attentive to any needs or concerns we might have had. Can't wait to rent it again during the warmer months!

I have to say I love this place, It was clean and cosy every thing was as the ad had said i would be, to my surprise there was some food items that I had forgot to bring like Coffee and it was provided which makes me very happy, I had a relaxed weekend here. The house is not that far from the dells which was a plus and it is surrounded by wood which made it better because it i was not disturb by any other noise at all, The owner is very sweet and helpfull, even extended a few hours to make our check out easy at no additional cost! I will definatly recommend this place to all my friends, its affordable and very beautiful. I will be coming back in the summer again for sure.

Large home with three floors -- plenty of space for family and friends, and the price cannot be beat. It was fully loaded and nicely decorated for all of us to enjoy. Secluded area gave us the privacy we desired, and the layout allowed us to enjoy a weekend all together instead of divided up in a hotel. It's only a couple exits from the dells - your friends will genuinely thank you for finding this one!

This was the first place we have stayed in that had a very well designed floor plan and can actually sleep as many people as advertised. One of the great features is an adequate size water heater that provides enough hot water for the whole family. The house was very very clean and well furnished, it even included a Christmas decorations and a Christmas tree that made us feel at home. Looking forward to the next vacation.

We spent last weekend at the Treasure House and enjoyed every minute. It was a weekend getaway for a group of ladies and the house met all our expectations, plenty of room for all of us and all our needs were met There was extra bedding and all the kitchen utensils that you would ever need, we could have moved right in. It was very clean and decorated for the season. Mark was excellent to work with. We will definitely consider going back in the future.

We had a great time. It met all our expectations--and then some. Had a get-away with my sons, their wives and 2 grand-daughters (4 & 2). The lay-out of the home worked so well for all of us. It's decorated so well, was very clean & well-stocked. Since we only had a week-end, we chose that area because the drive wasn't nearly as far as Minocqua, etc, yet it really had the 'up north' feel. We pretty much stayed at the cottage, but took one run to the Mirror Lake area just because we'd never been there. So, we had brought a lot of food to make right there, which worked out great. It's really close to the Dells, though, if anyone wants to spend time there. Enjoyed the beautiful setting, fire-pit & basketball court. Took advantage of walking in the woods and the path to the river. (Saturday night, we all walked it with flashlights--was really fun!). Mark was awesome to work with & always available to answer any questions & make our stay an enjoyable as possible. Was what we were looking for--a great place to enjoy time together, layed back, yet outside stuff to do. Would definitely recommend the place to others--no matter what the ages or time of year!!

We had a very awesome time there, everybody loved the calm and relaxing atmosphere, there were eight adults, one child and two infants total and still there was plenty of room left. Place is very clean, very well kept, spacious and gives you the warm feeling of being right at home! The kitchen has mostly every basic appliance and utensils you would need during your stay (i.e.: toaster, microwave, blender, even dishwasher, etc.), there are two grills right in the backyard, one basketball court, and a bonfire space. All beds had everything they needed, and there are extra pillows, blankies, and quilts in closets to stay warm in fall/winter seasons. The treasure house is a perfect location since it's no too close nor too far from the Dells, it probably took us 8 to 10 mins to get right into town. I'm sure it is way busier during summer time, but during our stay, the Dells was pretty quiet, it was easy driving through the main streets. All in all, if you're seeking to escape the hussles of the big city, or to just have a tranquil getaway with your family, or even just to escape the hectic daily routine, consider coming to this cabin, it might just do the trick. We definitely will consider coming back during the summer of next year.

We stayed at the beautiful log home Oct. 7th and 8th and just fell in love with the home. There was everything you need and the home was very comfortable. Mark is great to work with and gave wonderful suggestions. We enjoyed playing basketball and having a fire in the fire pit. The house is so very charming. We look forward to visiting there again and I would definitely recommend the house. It was perfect for a weekend away and could get to downtown Dells very easily. Enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at Mr. Pancake and hiking at Mirror Lake State Park. Highly recommend staying at the Treasure House.

Thank you so much for the use of your wonderful home. We were surprised by how much room we had, and how comfortable it felt. It was very clean and we had a lot of fun. The kitchen had a lot of space and it had everything we needed. We liked that we were far enough out of the Dells where it was peaceful but not to far to go into town for food or the attractions. I would definatly recomend this place for anyone who wanted to get away from it all. Would definatly stay here again. Would love to see it in the winter! Thank you again Mark! The Adams Family

We only stayed at this home for a long weekend getaway(3 days), but we had a very fun and memorable time at this rental home. The house is really much bigger inside then it looks from the outside. We had three families in our trip with 2 kids per family and we had plenty of room for all. The only concern is that the home is not really fitted for toddlers(1-3 year olds) because of the steep staircases, but if you have kids older then 5 you should be fine. But other then that the home is fabulous inside and out. You really get the "log cabin" feel from this home from the minute you drive up the driveway to the moment you step inside. The kids loved the fire pit in the backyard and were able to roast marshmellows in a bon fire. I personally enjoyed the basketball court. :) The home is also conveniately located...and is only less than 10 mins away from the Interstate Highway and probably 15-20 away from the Dells. We commuted twice to Noah's Ark in the Dells and were there in a matter of minutes. You'll really enjoy this home if you love spending time outdoors/wilderness. My kids loved seeing the hummingbirds drinking from the bird feeders sitting out in the front porch. Mark, the owner of the home is really friendly and easy to work with and can easily be contacted if you have any questions. He immediately returned my phone calls or text messages, which really says a lot about how he treats his guests. If we had to rate this home and the owner we would definately give it 5 stars across the board. Thanks again Mark for the great hospitality in your home! We'll definately be back soon. :)

We had a great time at this lovely cabin just 5-7 minutes outside of Wisconsin Dells. I have stayed here twice, once for a girls getaway and the other with my family, sisters, and parents. It is very clean, everything is provided as far as dishes and bedding, and the fireplace and basketball court in the backyard were a lot of fun as well. We easily fit 9 people and 2 pack-n-plays in the cabin. I can't say enough about how clean it was.

The pictures of this cabin do not do it justice. The six of us (grown men, 30's) went up there for some time away (golfing, Dells, etc.) and this place did not disappoint. These are probably the only real estate pictures I have ever seen that doesn't use a wide angle lens to make the rooms seem bigger than they really are, We had plenty of room and some to spare. The place is quite secluded and just about 10-15 minute drive from downtown Dells. If you are worried about the commute, don't be. There are a number of cab companies that were able to transport us back and forth. The cabin is well decorated, comfortable, very affordable, clean, and has great amenities. We loved the outdoor basketball court. It led to many games of "HORSE". The grill set-up and fire pit were awesome. For the rainy times there is a TV downstairs with an extensive video collection as well as satelite TV. It was brutally hot while we were there but the central A/C kept the cabin cool. The kitchen is well equipped (oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, etc.). There are two full bathrooms complete with jacuzzi. Mark is very friendly and accomodating and was just a quick phone call away if we needed anything or had any questions while we were up there. Would easily recommend this cabin to anyone. This was the perfect place to stay for a week away from the Chicago city noise. The cabin was accomodating and very comfortable! We felt right at home from day one and plenty of things to do. Would consider coming back again in the near future!

Our family had a wonderful time at the Treasure House, it really has a super awesome special cabin feel. The owners were great and assisted us with any questions or concerns and even left us a small bouquet of daisies on the window sill, so sweet. Really close the Wisconsin Dells and all the activities, but tucked away nicely in the woods. If we come back to the Dells we would def. stay here again, thank you again Mark - great place!!!

The log cabin in the woods was a good respite from the hustle bustle of the waterparks. My two teeanage boys enjoyed the basketball goal and the firepit outside. They also enjoyed "hiking" in the woods. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed- except towels. Gotta bring those with you. It was also less than 1 mile from the public boat ramp, which was nice. I'd definitely repeat the stay!

Cozy Cabin

Our family enjoyed a wonderful weekend in this beautiful log home. There was room for everyone to be comfortable and to gather. The backyard has been set up to accomodate a small basketball area and a wonderful fire pit where we grilled out sausages and marshmallows...much to the delight of my nephew! We also visited Deerpark and had such a wonderful time feeding the deer and getting up close to them. Trluy a unique experience. Thanks so much to Mark for guiding us to that! We also went to Highrock Cafe for dinner and loved it! The food was fresh, delicious and with healthy choices. We would go back to both these places. Mark, the home owner, is so easy to work with and so kind and helpful. He tried to be sure we were very well taken care of. His interest in family comfort shows in his set up of the home with the games in the loft, the well stocked equipment in the kitchen and the cozy home!

I have been renting the Treasure House for several years and have always found the accomodations to be great! The upgraded log furniture and decorative signs add a new freshness to the interior of the house. The fire pit, used for the first time this year, was a hit! This is a great get away from the speed of the city, yet is within a short drive of the Dells and other choices. I will return yearly.

Great Girls Weekend

We had a great weekend at this beautiful Cabin Near WI Dells. It is close and convenient to the Dells yet out in the Country where it is quiet and peaceful. The cabin had tons of room and a very nice layout. 3 separate floors to provide privacy and yet plenty of room on all the floors to gather together. It has a great outdoors area to have a fire and enjoy the night sky. It was clean and nicely maintained. Mark answered all my questions before hand and was available if needed during our stay - which we did not need anything. I would certainly recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking for a nice relaxing getaway. The price is great and very good deal for the area. It is all anyone could ask forwhen looking for a peaceful spot to catch up. Thanks Mark for sharing the property with us.

I had a surprise party for my boyfriend and it was in a perfect cental location for everyone coming from all areas of Wisconsin. The owner was extremely accommodating to my needs and helpful with the suggesting of where to go for food and entertainment! The property was clean and unique and equipt with all the extras that you couldn't pack to bring along. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone for a small group gathering like we had. The cabin is about 5 miles north of Wisconsin Dells. We absolutely enjoyed the cabin. We had all the comforts of home (Maybe more) There was 7 people so we all had our own space. There are 2 bathrooms & everthing you need to spend a weekend. The only thing we brought were our pillows & towels. The owner was excellendt to work with & had good suggestions for eating out. We decided to go the High Rock Cafe Saturday night. The food & service was excellent. Lots of food & very reasonable. The owner said we would be back & we will!! Great Girls Weekend

The house is located a bit back from WI Dells, which is nice when you want to avoid the crowds and congestion that can get hectic in the the Dells. Rooms are clean, well appointed and the beds were comfortable. We spent every evening chatting in the living room next to the gas fireplace which is very effective at heating the first and second floors. The house is much bigger than the pictures would indicate and is plenty spacious for 6-8 people. Had the weather not run us out of town early, it would have been a perfect girls weekend.
