  This was our second time staying in this beach house and I think we loved it even more this time. It is absolutely perfect! Great location, tons of room inside and out, very nicely decorated, close to grocery shopping and no crowds. Back yard is fenced in, very private and beautifully landscaped. Plenty to do with the beach, hot tub, pool table and tiki hut with bar, tv and BBQ! Loved the beautiful new deck and huge new hot tub that was added since last time we were here. We hope to come back again soon. Highly recommend this wonderful home!

  What a fabulous vacation! The house is just what everyone needs on the beach. This is the best part of the beach area! Had a wonderful time and the people were the best to spend a week with. Loved most of this part of the island plus much more! I would love to return - & soon!

  Thank you for allowing us to share and live in this house. I have to say I’ve gotten much better talent wise in pool. The master bedroom was very spacious and commodious. My favorite room, I’d have to say, was the master closet! I’d stay in there most of the day! The garden and hot tub were gorgeous. These 2 weeks flew and it’s a shame we’re already leaving. I hope we return next year to “Whatever”! I’m already looking forward to it! Thank you once again; we loved “Whatever”! The memories this amazing house provided us with will be in our hearts forever.

  Our family and friends stayed in this wonderful beach home for Thanksgiving 2008 and found it to be all we had hoped and more. The photos don't do it justice. Landscaping has been upgraded truly making this a beautiful oasis in the middle of Ft Myers Beach. It is an older home that's been lovingly restored and upgraded with top of the line appliances and accessories. We did a lot of cooking and enjoyed the awesome kitchen. (They could use a new coffee pot though.) All four beds and rooms were extremely comfortable with space for your belongings. The rec room, hot tub and tiki hut are all great. But being able to walk right out onto the softest beach I've ever felt was amazing. The sunsets were a daily ritual not to be missed and we were lucky enough to see some dolphins. Yes, people setup on the beach in front of the house, but overall respect the boundaries. The new Publix just down the street was great and the trolley stops right in front of the house, making it easy to get around without a car. Although there's so much to do in the area I'd recommend transportation. We highly recommend visits to Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, Sanibel and Captiva Islands - "Ding" Darling Sanctuary is great too. We recommend both the boat tour and the tram ride. Overall the best vacation we've all had in years. Thanks Paula & Larry! Also Mary at Caldwell Banker.

  Just got back from this incredible house. You couldn't ask for better accommodations! Comfortably furnished with a beach "feel"...but not overdone! Upscale kitchen met our every need, from the wine refrigerator to the stand-alone ice maker! Everything was clean and fresh and well-maintained. Beautifully landscaped back yard made us smile every time we came and went from the home. This house really does look even better in person than the on-line pictures show! I would certainly recommend it to a friend -- anybody with a need for 4 comfy bedrooms. We had adults in the 3 larger bedrooms, and my two kids shared the twin-bed room & shared our master bath & closet. It worked out perfectly. Another reviewer mentioned the beach access next door -- even in the off-season the public beach access was fairly busy. One day, we had a group set up a cabana in what we considered to be OUR front yard...even though the rest of the beach was virtually empty. That really IS the only drawback, though! Of course there's lots to do in the area. The Lady Chadwick boat ride from Captiva was loads of fun. I don't recommend the Imaginarium in Ft. Myers, though, unless you have REALLY young kids (8 & 10 was too old!)

  My family and I stayed in this home in 2007 and we were very impressed with all the accommodations the home had to offer. It is directly on the beach, just literally steps to the ocean. Interior looks even better than the pictures show. The beds slept very comfortably, and I'm pretty picky about things like that. It was very spacious. Cons about the home would be the public beach access right next door brought in a lot of unwanted vistors in our beach area. And, we did get hot in the house for about 3 nights solid due to the air not working properly. We had to put the air on about 78 degrees in the morning just so it wouldn't freeze-up by mid-day. All in all, it's a great home just be aware of the air coniditioning situation.
