Located in lovely South Otselic, New York, in an unspoiled countryside setting, where tourists are rare and views are large. The house is very private and is located 1700 feet from the road on a private driveway, tame enough for any type of vehicle.
The house has four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, laundry room, and a deck that overlooks the beautiful hilltops. We do not have air conditioning but all bedrooms have ceiling fans, which have kept us very comfortable.
There are fields, woods, a stream, and gravel roads to walk on. You can ride your ATV, or snowmobile on the logging roads. There is a pond that is located on the property, that is ideal for picnicking, swimming and enjoying the woods and fields. This property is ideal for enjoying the beautiful changing leaves in the Fall.
There are restaurants and stores located in Norwich, which is located 20 to 25 minutes from the house. The house is also 50 minutes from Binghamton to the south and Syracuse to the north. It is also approximately a little more than 1 hour from the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame or you can go in the opposite direction to the Finger Lakes, which is also an hour away. We have found that some of our most enjoyable moments are spent on the deck at the house, simply star gazing. Chenango county is blessed with over 100,000 acres of state land, which is open to the public for exploring, fishing, hiking and more. Downhill skiing is approximately 1/2 hour away.

- We own 159 acres with ATV trails, New private pond for swimming on property with absolutely no neighbors nearby, You will be within 2 miles of public fishing stream, there are also other streams, rivers and lakes nearby, Our property abuts over 1000 acres of state land, at the back end of our property is access to the Finger Lakes Trail, you are within 25 minutes from Bowman State Park. You may use our 14' row boat and trailer for one of the local ponds. You may also bring your guns and target shoot if that is your thing. We have two miles of atv trails on our property. We have a really nice walking trail approx one mile long on the property.
