Looking from the deck to Vineyard Sound - Martha's Vineyard Rentals This is a beachfront cottage located on Dogfish Bar, one of the best surf casting beaches on the Island. A short 1 and a 1/2 mile drive brings you to Philbin Beach, an Atlantic Ocean beach with wonderful surf. The house is in a remote area of the island, with lots of wetlands and wildlife. With so few residents in this part of the island, there are many deserted beaches for walks and nonbusy roads for bike riding. Although the area is quiet and the residents few, there are wonderful restaurants nearby. This is truly a place to get away from it all and leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life to others for awhile.
