This beautiful mountain home is located up the hill from Safeway on Brooky Drive. It includes all the amenities you will need during your mountain vacation. Enjoy the private hot tub after a fabulous day of skiing, golfing, biking, or whatever brings you to the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
You will find this home to be spacious, comfortable, and "up to date." The kitchen is well stocked and the washer and dryer are available for your convenience. Pets are not allowed, No Smoking.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed, private bath, and satellite TV. There is a second bedroom with a queen-size bed and a third bedroom with two sets of bunkbeds. The bedrooms and a pull-out couch will allow sleeping space for ten.
This home is centrally located in one of the most prominent areas of the Fraser Valley. Winter Park Resort, restaurants and shopping are only a few minutes away by car or free shuttle service.
There are countless activities nearby to keep you busy during your stay. If you would rather kick back and relax, you'll find this home to be quiet, secluded, and comfortable.
NOTE: THERE IS A CARETAKERS APARTMENT IN THE BASEMENT OF THIS HOME WHICH IS COMPLETELY SEPARATE FROM THIS RENTAL.

Greetings from the VRBO Bear in Winter Park, Colorado! I had a fabulous time at "Brooky" lodge nestled in a quiet neighborhood conveniently located in the Fraser Valley. I sure liked how easy it was to get to.
The setting was very peaceful and relaxing, and I especially enjoyed the hot tub on the deck! The radiant floor heating all throughout the house was a treat on my cold bear paws. What a toasty way to warm up after a day out in the Rocky Mountains! With the flip of a switch I was quite cozy as I relaxed in front of the gas fireplace. I found that the satellite TV, well equipped kitchen, games and everything else I needed to feel "at home" made it a wonderful stay!
My bear taste sure did enjoy the comfy king-size bed along with a nice master bath with plenty of space. I especially enjoyed the beautiful log furnishings and décor at Brooky (kind of reminded me of back home where all my bear relatives live). What a beautiful home and a great place to bring the family!

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Winter Park Ranch
We love this area partly because it is so beautiful and conducive to outdoor fun and activity, and partly because the people in the area are great, the weather sweet, and the skiing fabulous! Dad, a business owner in Boulder, grew up ski racing at Winter Park, and we also participate in the mountain biking events offered there. Our home reflects our love for comfort, warmth and coziness, and includes details and art usually missing from most rentals. The quiet of the woods surrounding us (which we ask you respect as well) is truly peaceful and welcoming.

We have stayed here twice and love this home! The location is beautiful and home lovely, and the area is wooded and private with lots of wildlife. We saw moose in the lower yard this year, and elk prior. Our kids like to sled on the little hill next to the house too! The guy, Steve, in the apt below is barely around, but is super helpful if you have a question. He is new and doesnt smoke or have a dog. The best part, though, is the quiet and comfort of the whole experience. Lots of room and yet very cozy. We highly recommend it and will come again! Thanks!

My family, friends and I stayed there this past winter and it was a GREAT place to stay!!! It was close to town, but it was tucked away in a nice secluded area. We saw a great family of foxes, which the kids enjoyed! Updated accommodations were a plus! There is a care taker downstairs, but we hardly knew he was there! We are looking forward to our next stay here next winter!!

House and location were very nice--just far enough from town/off Cty Road 8 to cut down on traffic and the nice backyard always offered up good wildlife viewing. During our stay we saw moose, foxes and deer right out the window! Very nice! All in all a great place. Only complaint--there is a basement apartment at the house and while the tenant was very quiet and seemed quite nice, he did smoke quite a bit. His place is directly under the deck (area where the bbq grill and hot tub are located)--this made it a bit hard to enjoy this area at times as he was outside the lower level (directly under the deck) and the smoke drifts straight up.
Owner response:Thank you so much for this review. I have spoken to our caretaker about the smoking. He will be very respectful when guests are in the home. In fact, we bought him a smokeless ashtray! This will not be a problem in the future. He has been there for 8 years and we have never had a complaint. The caretaker is very quiet, helpful and respectful to our guests. Thank again.
