  We just returned from an 8 night stay at the "Rest Assured" property in the Cypress Dunes Development, Santa Rosa Beach Florida. This was a last minute travel decision and the owner Bill was extremely helpful in getting me information promptly, accurately and allowing my family in the home a day early. The home is absolutely lovely, clean and comfortable and the pictures on VRBO don't nearly capture the charm of this home. We were family of four and this was way more house than we needed, but my boys loved having their own rooms. Some of our highlights were cooking and grilling fresh fish, the 4 decks (2 screened on 1st level), the pool and hot tub and gym, the quiet neighborhood, the tennis courts, the bikes at the house, coffee and wine off the master suite and walking around the lakes. The beaches are the most beautiful white sand you will see and the dunes and coastal lakes make the area very special. The access for the beach is easy to find a mile from the house and we rode bikes there and drove. Favorite eating spots: Shrimpers on 98 for fresh seafood, Stinky's, Goatfeathers, Bud and Alley's, Blue Mountain Creamery for ice cream, Harbor Docks in Destin and 723 Whiskey Bravo. We look forward to visiting the area again soon, bringing friends and staying at Rest Assured. My only complaint was there was no TV guide for stations for that area, made it tough to find NCAA basketball tournament games, and the DVD player did not work- movies would freeze and not continue to play. We had brought a gaming system so watched on that instead one rainy day. This is a great place, we will stay there again!

  this was our second stay at this wonderful home...we stayed a month and completely enjoyed ourselves....all our Party including our mid 20s children had a very comfortable time..this house ..has great location and ..is very ..safe...in the gated community of cypress dunes..,....my wife loved the pool...we had bikes available and the shopping was off the hook.....My son and i played 4 rounds of golf at some great courses...which were all within 10 minutes from the house...i would recomend this home to anyone who wants it all in a vacation house .....oh. and not to forget ..fresh seafood at Shrimpers 5 minutes away..for u to buy and take home an cook.......we ate a ton of fresh shrimp!!!!!!! .,..........

  We recently stayed at this home in Cypress Dunes and had a great time of our family vacation. Our three kids brought three friends and they enjoyed riding bikes and exploring the property along with the great pool complex. We had plenty of space and really liked the open kitchen and living room area. The one minute walk to the pool was very convenient since we spent most of our time there. The location is great for visiting Sandestin and all the greats spots on Hwy 30A. I highly recommend this home. The owner and management company were very easy to deal with.

  Our family had a great vacation. House was terrific. We had two families there - 9 people - and everyone had lots of space. There are four really nice bedrooms, each with a private bath (two of which are master suites). Spent our time at the beach, pool, riding bikes, playing tennis, etc. Active, but still relaxing. Pool area is incredible.

  Absolutely beautiful home, undoubtably the best VRBO home we have been in. Decorated beautifully with executive style. Cypress Dunes was quite and the pool/workout facility again first class. Wonderfully relaxing for us and just what the "dr. ordered". The bikes were nice plus and the white sand beaches are the best, most beautiful in the US. Thank you.

  Our stay in Rest Assured in August 2011 was perfect. Before commenting on specifics, let me say that we lived in the Santa Rosa Beach / Destin area for 14 years before moving to Atlanta, so we have a real sense of the lay of the land and how things have developed in the last 20 years. We return often to this area to vacation with our children and growing number of grandchildren, and this is the 2nd time we have stayed in a house in Cypress Dunes. I like the area because it is close enough to SanDestin to get to restaurants and shopping very quickly – 10 -15 minutes – but still be out on 30A near the beach. And now the house itself, which was great on many levels. The first was the owners – they were so easy to work with, quick to respond to all questions and requests, efficient and very nice. The second is the layout of the house. It is “big” without feeling cavernous, and the layout of rooms is much better to facilitate family life than the other home we stayed in the same neighborhood. The family room/kitchen/dining area are so well laid out, it really worked for us. And the bedrooms themselves are spacious and each has a private bath with beautiful showers – perfect for our combination of several generations/families. There is also a small desk area outside the master bedroom where you can leave your laptop set-up to check your mail or surf the net. A small touch, but helpful and worth noting becasue it indicates how carefully this house was laid out and furnished. Finally the furnishings and décor are nice – quality furniture, very comfortable beds and chairs. This house was perfect for our needs and our family had a great vacation here in 2011. We are already looking at dates to reserve it in 2012!

  My family has stayed in this house once in June 2010 and again in December 2010. Both times were great. There are a lot of activities to enjoy in the community and in the surrounding area in the winter and summer. There are great bike paths in the area...you could ride all day! bikes were available for us to use during our stay so we didn't have to bring ours. The house is very close to the community center which has a great view over Topsail State Park and the gulf, which is a short bike ride away. The house is beautifully decorated and has plenty of room for a crowd. Kitchen was great for the gourmet cook. Master bedroom deck has a beautiful view of the gulf. Loved having a cup of coffee in the morning while soaking in the view and the sound of the gulf. The owners were great to work with! Very accessible and personable. Also, the local management were great too! Had a slight issue with the heat in December, but it was being taken care of as we were arriving. Everyone was extremely nice and wanted to make sure we had a great time. We will definitely stay here again!

  We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas-at-Thanksgiving, with all of our kids and spouses gathering at Rest Assured--the perfect spot for our group of 9 adults. The house was everything it promised to be and more. Sitting on the porches we could hear the relaxing sounds of the surf. We spent hours around the beautiful pool and some of us put lots of miles on treadmills. Although there are plenty of good eating places around, our children thried to outdo one another in preparing delicious gourmet meals. It was great to find a place were all 9 could gather around the table. We really appreciated the comfort and space to hang out, both indoors and outdoor. I hope we can do it again before too long.

  I spent three weeks at REST ASSURED this fall and had a wonderful experience.Everything was top quality and well maintained.The location is excellent.Close to great restaurants and shopping yet secluded and quiet.Owner was great to work with. Highly recommmend!

  We have stayed in Cypress Dunes for three years in a row and this was the best house and experience by far. The home is just as described and the owner was a dream to work with. The home is close to the gorgeous pool and amenity center. Also, very near a great grocery (Publix) and many many wonderful places to shop and eat..... The Donut Hole, Seagrove Market, The Red Bar, The Smiling Fish to name a few. Publix has a wonderful seafood section and they will even steam your shrimp for you!! WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!!!!!!
