We had a wonderful 3 day stay here for a snowmobiling trip. The cabin was very comfortable for our party of 3, and could easily accommodate more. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. Kathy was very accommodating and gracious when a snowmobiling emergency meant we would need to check out later than expected, and when a power outage on the departure date meant we'd be unable to do some of the cleaning per the agreement. This rental will be my first choice on all future trips to the area.

We spent three nights in this beautiful mountain home. This home is very comfortably furnished and the gas fireplace is a real plus. The view out of each window was like a post card photo, all you can see is white snow and green pine trees in all directions. The adjacent lots are not occupied and so there are no other visible homes from any window. This was the perfect winter getaway to relax in complete peace and quiet. The only sounds were an occasional snowmobile off in the distance that could only be heard if you were outdoors. There was near by access to a beautiful trail through pines and aspens for snowshoeing, cross country skiing, or snowmobiling with great views of the near by mountains. We spent 4 days and did not start our vehicle once and totally escaped from the real world. There also is a great library of family DVDs to watch by the fire. This truly is the ultimate peaceful mountain getaway.

We were on a road trip and stayed 2 days in Neil's Nest. We enjoyed staying. The cabin was very cleaned and well maintained. When we got stuck in the snow, Kathy sent her housekeeper to help us out and made sure we got to the cabin. Overall we had a pleasant experience staying at Neil's Nest. Kitchen had all the kitchen utensils that you need if you are planning for a long stay. We will sure stay here if we visit yellow stone again.

I can't say enough good things about this rental. This was our 3rd year renting this cabin. The owners are extremely easy to get along with and the cabin is well kept, clean and roomy. The lot is very private with a huge fire pit area for those late night marshmellows. It is close to Yellowstone and world class fishing. We caught over 100 fish this trip in Henry's lake. This cabin is awesome!

We've stay here for the last 4 years and had a wonderful experience each time. The cabin is very nice and has everything needed to relax and enjoy the beauties of this area. It's close to many fun things for the family to see and do. It safe for the kids to go out and play and enjoy the beauties of nature. Kathy is always very helpful and gracious to work with. We look forward to enjoying the cabin many more times.

We stayed there for a week and we had a great time. The kids loved the swing in the back. It was clean, had all the kitchen stuff we needed to cook meals, Had plenty of linens and dishes. the fire pit was fun. Kathy was very quick to respond to the questions i had. We are already talking about our next trip back. Thanks Kathy, we had a great time.

A truly unbelievable experience. This cabin was more beautiful than we ever imagined. The pictures do not do it justice. Kathy was very professional and nice. The cabin was very warm and clean, we plan on coming back in the Spring and again next Winter as well. I cannot explain how much we enjoyed coming to the cabin this year, I have been traveling to West Yellowstone every year since 1998, for the Expo. We have always stayed in town at a Motel for the weekend, I will never do that again! Staying here was a better time then we ever had in town, and alot mor of a comfortable "Home" feeling. Thanks again...
Owner response:Thanks Cody, I realy try hard to make my guests feel welcome.

Our family, my husband and son have been traveling since we lived on the East Coast to Idaho, Wyoming, etc. since our son was of the age two (now 16). We have rented condos, hotel rooms, small log homes and "true homes". We finally found our "true vacation home" our nesting place at the Neil's Nest quite a few years ago and will continue to return every Christmas holiday. This is a place of beautiful scenery, a place to enjoy complete silence, and most importantly, a time to spend quality time with your family. Enjoying the vasts amount of snow that this area provides, the three of us sled right from our home into the vasts amount of open spaces or trails. What is truly rare is the feeling you engage into once you enter the home. It is decorated in such a way that you know the owner put "alot" of thought into the design and decor of this lovely home to make certain, regardless of the season, that it is there for your enjoyment. Ours is always decorated for Christmas. A lovely touch!!!! With just this said, I cannot emphasize the relief a rental has when they are able to contact the owner directly 24/7. This, from our past experiences in other places, has proved to be a real gem. Truly, how many owners can you contact? We love it and will be back!!!! Well worth the 800 mile drive from Maple Valley, Washington. Thank you Kathy!!!!!!! Mark, Robert & Claudia Gaska
Owner response:Thanks Claudia, It is such a pleasure to rent to good people who take care of everything inside and outside. Thanks again - Kathy

Cabin was very well stocked, clean and comfortable for all 12 of us. One night we had 15 in the house and never felt crowded. All the children had a wonderful time. Cabin is close to a little fishing area and Kathy was kind enough to loan us some poles. Very close to West Yellowstone and service stations. Thank you Kathy for everything you did to make our vacation so great! Well worth the trip from FL!

This was a great place to stay. My son lives in Rexburg so it was convenient for him to come for the weekend. It was comfortable for all 14 of us. My grandkids enjoyed the swing in the back and we had a nice place to stay after sight seeing in Yellowstone. I would recommend it to anyone.

I just wanted to say thank you for letting my family and I stay in your cabin. It was a wonderful weekend and we all had a great time. We sat and watched the deer eating outside the window from the living room. We had a great time getting away from the city and hiding in all the pines. Again thanks . The Gomez Family

One of the best camping experiences I’ve had in a long time. We fit easily 16 people over a 5-night stay in this lovely Cabin. The owner met us as we arrived and was wonderful. My kids were so excited to see so much wildlife right in the backyard every day, and it was close driving distance from several family fishing lakes. I loved having to bathrooms and putting clean small kids to bed every night. We hope to stay again soon

Great place, quiet setting nestled in the woods towards the end of the road. Neil's Nest is as advertised! Plenty of beds, warm, cozy, central location yet off the beaten path. Spacious parking area is also a bonus. The cabin is well worth the cost, and it certainly beats staying in a hotel room. I would definitely stay there again.

What a great cabin for a family reunion! Beautiful wooded area; private, but not too secluded. 12 of us stayed there for 5 nights with plenty of room for all. The owners are great. Can't recommend this place enough.

The lot that this cabin is on is awesome. Lots of trees and very secluded. We were able to set up 3 hammocks right by each other! Lots of room inside the cabin and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well stocked. The kids loved the loft. I felt right at home!

Great place! Close to Yellowstone, but away from the West Yellowstone crowds. Beautiful cabin with lots of space. Sometimes it was hard to drag the kids out of the loft to go places.
