Utah, the Heber Valley, Deer Valley and the surrounding area represent some of the most beautiful and breathtaking places on our planet. When my wife and I first visited here we were taken aback by the natural splendor as well as the friendly people. It felt like a time and place in America where the pace was a bit slower, people got know each other and the outdoors were enjoyed with family members and friends. My family and I have skied in Germany, France, Italy and the northeastern United States, and none of these places possess the quality of snow and amount of skiable terrain that the nearby Utah slopes do. The setting is just magnificent all year round. Deer Vally Jordanelle Express Gondola is 10 minutes away. The beautiful Homestead golf course is right across the street. The Wasatch State park, complete with stocked trout pond in the summer for kids, and a beautiful golf course where you will often encounter deer, is less than 5 minutes away. You can also snowshoe there in the winter time. Like to fish? Snowmobiling is also nearby. The world class, pristine Provo river is within 5 minutes by car, a little longer by bike.

We stayed in this place back in March for a ski trip and it was awesome. Park city and many other ski spots are within a short drive (15-20 minutes). There's a really nice park near here too that rents snowmobiles (I would highly recommend doing the snowmobile tour up the mountain). Six of us stayed in this place we could have easily added another 3 or 4 people. Lots of space upstairs and down. The garage is nice and big (fit an SUV) with plenty of space to load and unload ski equipment. The kitchen was plenty big and fully equiped. The resort is in a really nice area too. The hot tub is great after a long day on the slopes. We will definitely be booking this place again next year if it is available!

With the property being part of the Zermatt Resort in brings a lot of positives at your fingertips including a nice workout facility, heated pool, bakery, and spa. All these were especially nice if the entire group does not ski. Easy drive to the Gondola and restaurants in Midway. Two car garage also a big plus. Only downside was heat was hard to regulate evenly for the bedroom over the garage without melting everyone else. I do recommend the property and don't think it can be beat at that price point.
Owner response:Dear Robert, In response to your comment concerning the heat in the bedroom over the garage, we have changed the thermostat and adjusted the vents in all bedrooms to force more heat to that room. We will monitor this closely and if it continues to be a problem, we will place a booster on the vent in that room. Fantastic place to stay. We really enjoyed the townhouse and the many amenities offered within the resort. It's proximity to Deer Valley ski resort is perfect - about 10 mins. I'll definately be back!
