Summer time in Carmel Valley is spectacular! Sunny, fog-free days within minutes of all the Monterey Peninsula has to offer! The roses and fruit trees are in full bloom and the bluberries and raspberries may still be there . . . if the grandkids haven't nabbed them all). The Cottage is set in a quiet neighborhood in sun-drenched Carmel Valley, a great place to unwind after a long day enjoying the Monterey Peninsula; or a great place to spend the day.
The Cottage is a quiet, private, detached, one-bedroom, one-bath, fully-contained home with a full kitchen, dining room, and living room combination as well as a separate bedroom. You have an unobstructed view of the back of our property, with the river just beyond our back gate and a private patio for your enjoyment. It also comes equipped with your own washer and dryer, Wi-Fi capability (if you bring your laptop), and cable TV with DVD/VCR. Our rates also include coffee, tea, hot chocolate, microwave popcorn, a starter kit in the refrigerator of basic condiments, assorted sodas, bottled water, fresh eggs, bread and butter, juice, milk and a nice bottle of local wine. It is a perfect spot for a romantic getaway for two, for an artist or writer to work, or for grandparents who want to visit the kids, but have some space as well.
Within 15-25 minutes of all the Monterey Peninsula has to offer and just a quick five-minute drive to Carmel Valley Village where you will find little shops, wineries with tasting rooms, and some wonderful restaurants. We are perfect for those that enjoy a quiet, serene place away from the crowds and the hotels that abound in our area and want to settle in and relax in a country setting. For those enjoy walking or hiking our neighborhood is a great spot for strolling and literally right across the street lies a beautiful meadow that is also a trailhead for walks or hikes in fabulous Garland Park!
