Year Purchased: 1997
I am a retired teacher and have lived in Colorado since 1973. We purchased our townhouse at Snake River Village new in 1997 and have been enjoying it summer and winter as well as renting it when we're not using it.
Why the Owner Chose Snake River Village
Keystone is in the heart of Summit County skiing with easy access to other ski areas. Yet we prefer Keystone because it is quiet and less congested than some of the other areas such as Breckenridge and Vail. Snake River Village is just a short walk to the gondola yet away from the hussle/bussle of River Run. The townhouse style of Snake River Village with private garage makes it seem like home.

Great location and layout but a few minor issues

We stayed at the condo and enjoyed the location and the view from the living room windows. There are many amenities in the condo...almost everything you could think of is there. We did have a few minor maintenance issues such as cold hot tubs outdoors and the battery to the keycard reader must have been low. Had to use the garage door opener. The owner was easy to work with. Extras are included with the unit such as area maps and info, books, DVDs, wifi, and laundry facilities (which we didn't use). Linens were nicely labeled by size in the closet...no guessing which to use. Plenty of towels, extra blankets and pillows. Very peaceful area with great views of the runs at Keystone. Unit was pretty quiet...couldn't hear neighbors, except garage doors.
Owner response:Sorry to hear about hot tubs being cold. In the spring (after ski season ends) they usually shut down one hot tub, but one should be working. I'll check on it when we go up.

We've stayed in many vrbo condos and this is the nicest so far! The high ceilings and abundant natural light add to the beauty and spaciousness of this condo. Owners are very accommodating and have left the condo well-stocked with linens,etc. The views and gas fireplace make for a relaxing stay!

My family of 4 stayed here for a week. The location was simply the best. We easily traveled to other resorts such as A Basin, Copper and Breckenridge all within 15-20 minutes car ride. The condo has all of the essentials and then some. Kitchen is well stocked and condo is clean. It was great having a garage to drive the rental car into and not have to worry about snow/ice removal on the car. There is a jetted jacuzzi in master bath that was well used after skiing. All in all, this beat out heads over tails the very expensive and very cramped 2 bedroom we rented last year at Copper One. Elaine Barbour

What a fantastic condo! It was very clean, well maintained, and very roomy. The view from the living room is incredible. It was close to the slopes, activities and shopping! We really enjoyed our stay!

You'll love your stay at this condo. Use the garage door opener to drive right into the single car garage--just like at home. The quiet, peaceful atmosphere and view from the deck are outstanding. And just walk or take free shuttle to River Run Village for great restaurants, shops, and free entertainment
