Why the Owner Chose Nags Head
We love coming to South Nags Head. The lack of commercial development at that end of the island means more peace and quiet, yet the shops, restaurants and other attractions are only a few minutes away when we want them. Even in high season the beach never seems crowded.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The house is big enough for us to invite our whole extended family to join us. Our parents and siblings are scattered all about the country and opportunities to get us all together are few. We've had some fabulous times with all the cousins at the beach. One member of our family is wheelchair bound, so the handicapped-accessible bed and baths make it possible for him to come too. The elevator helps too - especially since our parents aren't getting any younger.

Big, spacious, well-kept, well-equipped, great location, great view, great DVD's, great sound for large flat screen, and great accommodations overall. We had 17 people here - 7 adults and 10 kids - and all were comfortable. You've laid out the background for a great family bonding experience.

Perfect setting for a reunion. 10 adults + 8 kids - plenty of room to hang out and get our eat on. The place was in great shape - no complaints. Solid. Cheers!

The home suited our needs near perfect, from our 84 year old mother to our wheelchair bound sister. The kitchen, bedrooms, baths, hot tub and of course the ocean were magnificent. We have great memories - lots of laughter and love. Enjoyed all the extras too - DVD's, magazines and games. Thank you for offering extra days to make up for our delay due to Irene. We'd love to come back.

Great Weekend with Great Friends in a Great House I stayed in Trade Winds East with 18 of my best friends for a New Year's Eve Reunion. I picked this house because it had enough queen/king beds to accommodate the couples in our group. The fact that is what directly on the beach was a huge bonus. We loved being able to walk to the beach during the day and wake up to the ocean each morning. The top floor/living area was the right size for our group. At meal time there were more than enough seats for everyone to eat comfortably and not feel 'left out'. Since it was winter during our visit we spent a lot of time watching movies and football games and the extra seating was perfect. We had a great time and would love to rent the house again (if our group doesn't grow!)

Awesome Girls Weekend Although the weather was not the greatest, we had one of our best girls' weekends ever. This house is very roomy & perfect for 13-15 women to get together each year for our annual girls weekend. Plenty of bathrooms, beautiful view, and close to the outlets for shopping. Keyless entry also worked well when people were coming & going at different times. Elevator is a plus. We had a puzzle going all weekend & the separate ice maker kept the cocktails flowing.

The house was wonderful. We have been going to the Outer Banks for 8 years now and this was one of the best houses we have stayed at. The furnishings were great and the view was perfect.
