LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! PRIME Unit Location! Our condo unit is the closest in the building to the lobby elevator (to access garage), the front door, the fireside bar/lounge (no stairs) and also both the gate to the heated pool & hot-tub and the common use gas grills. Even though our unit is conveniently located to these great amentities, I can assure you that there's no outside noise heard from the lobby, or the pool & hot-tub areas, so no worries the condo is very quiet. During Ski Season: Ski down the 4 O'Clock run and walk across the street right into the lodge front door, leave your skis at the complimentary valet, 8 steps to the condo to throw on your swimsuit and walk out the back door, only 6 steps to the heated pool. Time for apres ski!!
Once you arrive, you won't need to get in your car again!! Our superb Lodge offers the best location in town that Breckenridge has to offer, it's the only lodge that is ski-in, walk to base lifts, walk to Gondola and exit the back door to Main street. There's an on-Site bar and fireside lounge, Jalapeno's mexican restaurant, Resortquest ski-rental shop, and banquet facilities [business hrs subject to seasonal dates]. Heated outdoor pool, 3 hot-tubs, sauna, fitness room, complimentary lodge shuttle, ski valet storage, wireless internet hotspots in lounge, DSL line in condo.
Convenient carry-out: right next door is Discount Liquors and Taipei Tokyo (great chinese and sushi) or grab margaritas and mexican in the lower lobby at the in-house Jalapenos Restaurant (authentic fare). Check out these restaurants and many, many more within 3 blocks of the building on the Interactive Dining Map on the "Breckenridge" website on the Town>Dining>Historic District page. Closest off-site bar/restaurant is the well-known Motherloded Bar/restaurant where you'll find live entertainment on the weekends, go out the back door across the covered bridge and enter the rear entrance. Also out the back door is a drug store, bakery and everything else that you'll need...just steps away.

- Washer: Stackable Upright Located in the entry closet. Detergent, iron and ironing board also provided.
- Dryer: Stackable Upright located in entry closet.
- Linens Provided: All linens are provided, and the lodge has the conveniences of a hotel, you can request additional towels and amenities (shampoo, soap, paper products, i.e., tp, kleenex) at the front desk.
- Garage: Underground heated parking garage, not limited to just one space. The condo keycard also provides access to the garage door. If you request more than one keycard, additional cars can access the garage.
- Covered Parking: Heated underground parking, so you won't have to dig your car out of the snow. Once you arrive, there won't be a need to drive your car again, except maybe to go to pick up a load of groceries a 1/2 mile down the street.
- Parking for RV/Boat/Trailer: If there is open spaces, you can pull a trailer into the parking garage and park it there during your stay. There is a clearance limit on the garage door. Consult the front desk for to check for clearance height.
- Wood Fireplace: Our unit does not include a wood burning firelplace, but there's a wood burning fireplace right outside of our condo door at the Fireside bar and lounge. The lounge is open 24 hours, go in your slippers. Our condo is always warm, you wouldn't want to use a fireplace in the unit because you wouldn't need the heat.
- Elevator: Our unit is on the 1st floor, so no stairs or elevator are necessary to get to our condo. However, you can access the parking garage via the elevator.
- Beds
- Queen Bed: Located in the bedroom with a top of the line Beautyrest, Pillowtop matress....very comfy!! Next to the separate, private sliding glass doors to the heated pool. Closest door to the entrance gate.
- Convertible Bed: Sofa is shown in the photo above. Top of the line Queen Pull out sofa bed, is very comfortable.
- Murphy Bed: Attractively located in the wall in the entry area, it's a Queen bed, just folds out from the wall, easy to open and close. Very comfortable mattress.
- Crib: A crib can be requested, or reserved in advance at the front desk. Other additional roll-away type beds are not available in the lodge.

- Shared Hot Tub (3) : The Hot-Tub is next to the heated pool. Our 2 sliding glass doors are the closest doors to the entrance gate!! Throw on your flip flops and head out one of the back doors.
- Shared Pool: The heated pool is right out our back door!! There are stairs that go into the water, the shallow end is about 3.5 feet. My 4 year old can swim and stand on the shallow end. The deep end is about 7 feet. It's convenient and very warm. Throw on your flip flops and head out the back door.
- Sauna: Sauna is located inside the fitness center just down the hall or access from the back door to the fitness door.
- Kitchen
- Full Kitchen: The kitchen has all the comforts of home! A crock-pot, waffle maker, coffee grinder, 10 Cup coffee maker, dishes, glasses and utensils to serve 8 or more, bakeware, cookware, serving dishes, ice bucket, blender.
- Cooking Utensils Provided: All the usual, spatulas, serveware, can opener, corkscrew opener, etc.

- Catering Available: There's a restaurant menu book on a podium at the front desk with local restaurant and catering information. Banquet sevices are provided in the building as well.
- Outdoor Features
- Gas/Electric BBQ Grill: There are 2 large shared gas grills in the courtyard, located right out our back doors. Help yourself, available for use any time you need. Our unit is the closest to the grills. Grills are not allowed on condo decks, so our location is key!!
- Deck/Patio: Patio and courtyard outside the back doors. Room for frisbee, shuffleboard, making a snowman or snow angels etc.
- View/Location
- Mountain View: Our unit does not have a mountain view. The lodge faces Breckenridge Ski Resort, Peaks 7, 8, and 9 which can be seen from the 2nd level hot tub and the front of the building. Our view is of the sunny pool and courtyard. Would you perfer to be on the 3rd floor on a balcony looking out at the mountains, or able to go in and out of your door to the hot-tub, heated pool and grills for apres ski?
- Ski-In: Ski down for Lunch or at the end of the day, to the end of the 4 O'Clock ski run and the lodge is right in front of you. Pop your skis off and walk across the street into the front door.
- Communications
- Telephone: Free local calls and voice mail with condo phone.
- Computer: Our unit does not provide a computer, but there is a guest use PC in the lobby outside of the front desk, which is steps away from our front door. Can be used at any time, and to print boarding passes for the airport.
- Computer w/ Dial-up Internet: "It's a DSL, not a dial-up" You don't have to pack your own computer! A computer is available in the lobby at the front desk for guest use, providing unlimited Internet use and printing. You can print your Flight Boarding Passes here before you leave for the airport.
- Broadband Internet: A FREE blue DSL cable is located in our living room next to the TV armoire for your computer connection. Additional DSL Cables are also available in the fireside lounge.
- WiFi (Wireless Internet): Free WIFI hotspots are located at the guest desk in the lobby right outside of our condo door and in the lounge.
- Other Amenities
- Ski-In and cross the street to the lodge front door on the 4 O'Clock Run. PRIME 1st Floor location, 2 sliding glass doors closest access to the gate to the heated pool, hot-tub, and front door closest to fireside bar and lounge. Free ski valet at front door, free in-town lodge shuttle, right out the back door is Main Street bars, restaurants, and entertainment. The NEW Breck Connect Gondola building is only a block and 1/2 away from building and takes you to Peak 7 & 8 bases.
- Suitability
- No Pets Allowed: PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED at River Mountain Lodge by anyone other than property owners. Unauthorized pets will result in a forfeit of the deposit paid and if stay is not complete, a prompt request to vacate the unit.
- Handicapped Accessible (may have limitations): Ramp inside the front door to the hallway, our unit is on the first floor and is the closest to the lobby. Easy access.

- Kid Friendly: Very kid friendly. Our kids love the heated pool, and we spend many evenings in the fireside lounge enjoying hot cocoa and cocktails. Bring your own board games from our unit or ask for one at the bar, the kids can play at the table while you enjoy the fire and apres atmosphere.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters: The person paying for the condo must be at least 21 years of age.
- Smoking Not Allowed: No smoking in the condo or in the building, however, you can sit in the courtyard right outside the sliding glass doors and have a smoke, or bring your cigars and cigarettes to the pool/hot-tub right out the back door.
