Construction was completed on this home in July 2006. It is located in an active adult community right next to the 9th green and 1st tee of the Sundance Golf Course in Buckeye, Arizona. This 1,665 Square foot home includes a 2 car garage with auto door opener, master bedroom suite, guest bedroom, laundry room, new appliances, TV sets, etc. Cox cable TV with approx 100 channels and a 24/7 high speed internet (RJ45 or remote) access for your computer are included!
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed for food preparation and consumption. The grocery stores, etc. are located close by. Two major grocery superstores, as well as 8-10 new restaurants all located within about a mile of the house.
The home has tiled floors throughout except for wall to wall carpeting in the bedrooms. The sun shines more than 300 days each year in Buckeye Arizona, located just south of the White Tank Mountains.
Buckeye is a rapidly expanding city located 30-40 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. It is close to the I10 Freeway, only a little more than an hour from Sedona or Tucson, and less than 3 hours to the Grand Canyon.
CACTUS LEAGUE BASEBALL: We are near Peoria Stadium's spring training home of the Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres. In nearby Surprise we have the Kansas City Royals and the Texas Rangers. Beginning in 2009 the Los Angeles Dodgers have a new spring training facility in neaby Glendale, AZ. More Phoenix based Cactus league teams include the Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Brewers, Oakland A's, San Francisco Giants and L. A. Angels. Other Cactus league teams include the Arizona D-Backs, Chicago White Sox, and the Colorado Rockies with home fields down in Tucson, AZ. In 2010 the Cleveland Indians and Cincinatti Reds facilities and home fields will be located in nearby Goodyear, AZ.
The house is also located within 30 minutes from the facilities and stadiums of 2008-09 NFC Champion NFL Arizona Cardinals (host site of January 2008 Superbowl) and the NHL Phoenix Coyotes, and another 10-15 minutes to the homes of NBA Phoenix Suns and Arizona Diamondbacks. Of course Golf can be played year round on the Sundance Course, the Raven Golf Course at Verrado, or literally dozens of other local golf courses.
The Sundance Active Adult Recreation Center includes swimming pools, tennis & pickle ball courts, pool tables, card tables, weight room, etc., with lots of no cost scheduled events daily. Children are welcome, but at least one occupant must be 50 years or older.

Year Purchased: 2006
I dreamed about owning a home on a golf course and this house is on that PERFECT LOCATION. In a few years I am planning to retire and at that time will live in this house permanently. In the meantime, I will continue to offer it to vacationers as the ideal vacation rental home.
Why the Owner Chose Buckeye
I have been residing in the Phoenix, Arizona area since 1988 and over the years have seen substantial growth throughout Maricopa County. Buckeye is a rapidly growing suburb of Phoenix and the new homes surrounding the Sundance golf course are an ideal location for someone who has always dreamt of owning a home on a golf course. This home will be a vacation rental for only a few more years.

If those who like to play and/or watch golf this home is located right next to the 9th green and first tee of the Sundance Golf Course. It is also a few hundred yards from the Active Adult Recreation facilities to be used exclusively by owners and their guests. The home is on a cul de sac corner, and is safe, quiet, and secure.
