Property description

Curlews is absolutely perfectly situated centrally in the town of East Looe: set back in a quiet courtyard, you really are central to everything, being literally just a minute walk from the large sandy beach; the harbour and the wide variety of shops, restaurants and pubs available in the town. Also just a ten-minute walk from the train station. The major advantage of reserved parking just 1 minute walk away is one of the reasons Curlews is a very popular choice for families and friends wanting a holiday or break by the Cornish coast. The cottage offers 3 bedrooms, family bathroom, cloakroom, open plan living area with solid fuel burner and kitchen with breakfast bar. East Looe is full of character, packed with period buildings, interesting architecture, good pubs and a great selection of eateries from traditional cafes to speciality restaurants and pasty shops to fish and chip takeaways. These can all be found just a short walk from the cottage and when you want to explore Cornwall further there are plenty of activities and sight seeing opportunities close by, as well as numerous beaches and coastal walks. Please note: Due to the steep staircases in this period cottage we feel it is unsuitable for the infirm or toddlers. Parking for one car just 1 minute walk in a reserved space.

Living Area (ground floor)
The front door opens into the bright and airy open-plan ground floor living and kitchen area, which has been tastefully decorated and furnished with comfortable sofas and a breakfast bar to comfortably seat six people. The triple-aspect room has slate flooring and a well-equipped kitchen.There is a TV with DVD and an iPod docking station for your entertainment, and also a solid fuel boiler which is an attractive addition for the cooler months. Background heat is supplied by electric storage heaters.


Double Bedroom (first floor)
A standard sized double bed with storage space provided for your stay. The adjacent cloakroom is also found on the first floor.


Double bedroom with extra bunk beds (second floor)
On the second floor is the second double bedroom, this room also features full sized bunk beds and a privacy screen if you need to make use of the 8 guests sleeping capacity. The cottage is ideally suited to a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children.


Twin Bedroom (second floor)
Located on the second floor is this lovely twin bedroom with full sized single beds.

Family Bathroom (first floor)
Located on the first floor is this family bathroom with bath with shower over, toilet, hand wash basin. You will also find the washing machine and tumble drier here.

Please note the cottage will sleep 8 guests but is only suitable for 6 adults maximum due to the seating and dining arrangements. Heating by electric storage heaters and extra heat via solid fuel burner in living area. Parking is included and is in a reserved space 1 minute walk from the cottage.
