VRBO Bear stayed here - 06/30/2008 The house was incredible and way beyond expectations. The concierge welcomed us upon our arrival and gave us the grand tour. The luxury ranch style décor provided the relaxing and comfortable atmosphere we were seeking. Skylights provided lots of natural lighting. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. A small office area also included a computer, wireless internet, and printer. We were delighted to find ocean views from the master suite and private side patio with two fountains. We liked it all!

The Santa Barbara weather was slightly overcast and cool in the mornings, but always burned off to warm, sunny afternoons. My fur is definitely two shades darker after lounging by the heated pool. In the evenings after my soak in the Jacuzzi, I enjoyed drying off by the outdoor fireplace on the back patio. Outdoor candlelight provided romantic ambiance for outdoor dining. Lights also reflected off the koi pond and waterfall beyond the back patio. Absolutely gorgeous!

Stonehouse Restaurant is a must for dinner. Its exquisite atmosphere, food, service, and grounds were unforgettable. Many other local Santa Barbara/Montecito attractions are also within a few minutes drive – beaches, day spas, wineries, and shopping. If you’re looking for that perfect retreat, don’t miss out on this amazing getaway!

  • so kristin we stayed at your place last week and i have been meaning to email or call you earlier, but i had a cold, sorry....anyway, i just wanted to let you know that we had the most fabulous time staying there, and, we were also so amazed at how professional everybody/thing transacted...all of the maintenance folk, the concierge chris, you-whilst on vacation, etc. and how buffed out it is (everything you could possibly want is at your fingertips!) I cannot tell you how refreshing the whole stay, and experience, was. And, our 15 month old dug it ! although, he tampered with the stove knobs and hid one of them (while we were staring at him, it seemed almost impossible to lose, but he is quite tricky-"no" has become his favorite word") and i notified the housekeeper...if you cannot find it, please let me know and i will pay for it--i was a little mortified that we were so irresponsible to misplace it (you know kids, though). again, i just wanted to say thanks...it is so infrequent that you (we) are thrilled with a rental...we absolutely would love to stay there again next time. thanks again so much, michele
