Let’s face it, renting a vacation place can be a hit-or-miss affair - pictures don’t quite live up to the reality and that "minutes to the ocean" promise sure seems hollow when you’re laden with beach chairs, coolers, toys and a couple of kids who take an awful lot more steps than you do. You’ve only got a week and you can’t afford to get it wrong.
But if you’ve been to The Greens before, you’ll know the beach really is close-- go out the front door, walk about a hundred yards to the entrance, take a left, round the corner and there’s the new Beach Club right ahead of you. No chance of stopping there yet, because the kids will want to be on the beach ("RIGHT NOW, Daddy") don’t worry it’ll be there later. Quickly up the Boardwalk and you’re on miles of flat sandy beach. Relax, the hard part is over and all you need worry about is remembering to apply the sunscreen. So what makes this villa different? If you’re used to going back to the same place every year, it’s familiar and comfortable, like an old shoe (and by the way, does anyone really want to live in an old shoe?). Or if you’ve stayed somewhere that’s been rented for a few years, you know what that’s like-- things get a little bit tired and worn and you don’t need the frustration of stuff that doesn't work. So, for your your comfort, we’ve recently updated, refurbished, and professionally decorated our villa to make it fresher and more comfortable-- new furniture and bedding, a stainless gas grill, upgraded kitchen (granite counters make cleaning up a breeze) and a re-finished deck.
There’s so much to do on the Island that by the time you’ve finished swimming, sunbathing, golfing, biking, shopping the outlets, dining, playing tennis, strolling through Harbour Town, fishing, kayaking, dolphin-watching, and working out, you may not be spending that much time in the villa. But when you do, you want to unwind in comfort after all that vacation "relaxation." Start the day with a quiet breakfast inside the breakfast nook; or if you prefer, breakfast on the deck overlooking the golf course (hint: set the kids in front of the cartoons); finish your day inside your comfortable villa or outside on the deck with a beverage of your choice.
We can’t promise you a perfect tan, your best ever round of golf or a giveaway at the outlets - but we’ll give you a great place to stay while you’re working on it.
