Discover ASKA TIMBERS, a spacious 2300 sq. ft. log cabin retreat which is nestled in over 3 & 3/4 private wilderness acres in the Chattahoochee National Forest's, Rich Mountain Wildlife Management Area. It's located in the heart of the Aska Adventure Area where hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and tubing are just minutes away. Unwind in this beautiful, brand-new cabin that has all the ammenities of home!
The kitchen comes fully-equipped with everything that you would need: pots and pans, coffee maker, crock-pot, blender, etc. The eat in kitchen seats six for those fun family meals.
There are two Great Rooms, each with it's own cozy gas fireplace, satellite TV and comfortable couches and easy chairs . Perfect for adventurers who need a little extra room to relax. French doors lead to the wondrous nature that is located just steps away. There is an old-fashioned front porch with rocking chairs, great for watching the wildlife or just reading a good book.
The master bedroom's two picture windows overlook the pristine wilderness. It's outfitted with a comfortable Rocky Mountain log bed (queen), offering a pleasant night's sleep. Stretch out in another comfortable queen log bed in the second bedroom. Need even more space? Enjoy the double set of bunk beds with regular twin mattresses (not bunkies) located in the third bedroom.
Adjacent to the upstairs great room is a covered deck with comfortable patio furniture and a gas grill for a good ole country cook out.
Bring your bathing suits and unwind with the soothing jets in a brand-new 6 person private hot tub. The hot tub looks out and into the sun-dappled forest. For a quiet soak, slip into in the upstairs bathroom's stone-covered bathtub. Both are excellent relief after the day's hiking, canoeing, or just strolling around the quaint town of Blue Ridge.
There is a seasonal stream that runs through the property and wildlife abounds. Play a game of horseshoes or tell ghost stories around the open fire ring. It's fantastic for making smores! The land around the cabin is level and gentle, ideal for children to explore and play. We love our four-legged friends too! Some of our best friends are our pets.
The cabin is pet-friendly for well-behaved pets. We have food/water bowls available and plenty of area for them to explore! The upper level floor is hard wood and the lower level is slate tile.
Aska Timbers is located a convenient 90 minute drive from Atlanta. We're located in the town of Blue Ridge, which is filled with antique shops, great cafes, and numerous local artisans.
Due to the number of inquiries inquiring about our home's location, we are TRULY located within town of Blue Ridge and NOT outside of the town's city limits. We are a TRUE Blue Ridge home.

Rates do not include cleaning fee of $75, pet fee, or taxes.
Pet fees are $20/nt for pre-approved pets, $75 wkly
$100 security deposit.
50% deposit at reservation, balance due 30 nts before check-in.
