This charming 2/1 has been fully remodeled and is practically brand new. All furniture has been recently purchased and is just waiting for you to enjoy. An updated kitchen and a master with its own bath. The master has a queen bed, it's own TV and a beautiful glass block shower.

The 2nd bedroom has two twin beds with TV to play video games with view of back yard and canal. There is also a foosball table to have a few laughs. The family room has a nice wide sofa that converts to a queen size bed and also has a big TV with DVD /CD player, and an FM/AM receiver.

This house is in the perfect location for a family keys getaway. It is located on Mile Marker 90, Plantation Key, right off of the Tavernier Creek bridge on the bay side. JUST 5 MINUTES FROM THE WORLD FAMOUS TIKI BAR !!! This means you are literally on a deep water canal to the ocean and a 50 foot sea wall with a fish cleaning station at your back door.

You are minutes from the crystalline waters off the reefs and the world class blue water deep sea fishing of the Florida Keys. If you are a backwater fisherman then you can drop your boat at the neighborhood boat ramp and keep the trailer at the side of the house. You have the best of both worlds because you have access to oceanside fishing or back country fishing through Tavernier Creek bridge.

Around the corner is a great little shallow water basin where you can canoe and see the bonefish tailing. Right outside the channel you have Pennekamp State park to the North and prime fishing grounds and reefs to the south.

Within walking distance (1/2 mile) you have a dive shop with dive trips, 4 restaurants, and a grocery store. Within a mile you have a CVS, movie theater, post office, a big grocery store, a Dollar Store, and a multitude of great restaurants for dining. A couple of miles to the south you have Islamorada's Founder's Park with an olympic size pool with lifeguards, a water park, basketball and tennis courts, walking and jogging courses, a playground and a beach.

  • It was truly a great vacation at the cocktail cottage.This house was new and clean inside and out. Trust me on this one, I've stayed in a key's vacation home before and it seems like no one clean the house for weeks.It was a delight to stay here. The kids had a wonderful time just feeding the manatees from the backyard. I was surprise when I hopped in my boat and it only took me 3 minutes to get to the ocean. I was minute's away from great fishing.As you can imagine I caught lots of fish. We also enjoyed awesome sunset cruises. At night we headed out to the world famous tiki bar just 5 miles away. We also were minutes away from world famous seafood restaurants (I recommend Bentlys).I will be back soon. 5 Stars

  • I had a great time at cocktail cottage.This house is totally brand new,fresh and clean.I was there a week with my family and went fishing every single day.As you can imagine we caught a lot of fish.My kids loved it, they were able to feed the manatee's from our own back yard.We were minutes away from great fishing spots.We fished and drank to we dropped.At night we took off to the world famous tiki bar and seafood restaurants(I recommend Bentlys).This is truly a fishermans paradise. I will be back again soon.
