  A great, clean vacation spot for our family of four adults and two children under three. Lots of room inside with living room and a family room. Large fully equipped kitchen for a couple of cooks at a time. Four bedrooms available, we only used three. Comfortable beds. Wonderful 1000 sq.ft. deck for children and dog to play on before hitting the super beach and dock which are right there. Highly recommend. Quiet little town of Chase would two grocery stores. Also enjoyed nearby full golf and mini golf in Sorrento, a short drive.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners.

  Stayed for 2 weeks. Wish it was longer. Beautiful views. Perfect lake, perfect weather. Plan to visit again next summer. Very relaxing. House has everything you could need. Large deck was such a pleasure. House has so much space. I definitely recommend this home, best of all worlds... lake, river, wildlife, fishing, small town feel, farmers' markets, etc...

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, pet owners, sightseeing.

  The house was wonderful. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and the beautiful lake and mountain view from all of the windows in the house. The pictures on the website were perfectly depicted. This was a perfect week for 4 adults, 2 tween girls and 2 teen girls. Even with only one shower all 8 of us were able to shower consecutively without anyone getting a cold shower. We have great pictures of hummingbirds, osprey, bald eagles, the lake, and the mountains. We were also able to get great pictures of our girls learning to wakeboard as on many, many occasions our boat seemed to be the only one on the lake. The house is very well furnished and very clean, the owners walk-through with us upon our arrival was much appreciated, ex: leaving a full propane tank for the bbq, leaving a full bottle of water and a nice place to rinse off the sandy feet after being on the beach. This particular little touch really helped with not tracking sand into the house. All kitchen appliances and supplies were there; everything you would have in your own home, very well thought out. The washer and dryer were nice and convenient so that we didn't have to pack too much. Took a trip to Kamloops and also Salmon Arms, both within approximately a 30 minute drive. Have already told some friends about this fabulous house and have recommended it to them for their Shuswap vacation.

  My 12 year old son and I along with some of our friends (5 of us in all) stayed at Mei and David's cottage in Chase, BC for what turned out to be a very relaxing vacation. Unfortunately the weather was not that great (not the norm for mid July) so we did not spend very much time in the lake but the location and views are amazing! The cottage had everything we needed and there was more than enough room for our group. The beds were very comfortable and the cottage is warm and inviting. I would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to getaway from it all, who want some peace and quiet and enjoy watching their children play on the beach and swim in the lake.

  We had a fabulously relaxing time at this cottage. It is very well set up for two families, although you have to share the bath. The property is gorgeous, very well maintained and has all your amenities. Our kids had a wonderful time and we really enjoyed the canoe rides in the evenings. Golfing at the little course in Chase was awesome too. The owners are lovely people and very accomodating. Thanks for everything!!

  We knew the pictures looked great, the beds would fit us, and that the owners sounded kind on the phone, but we didn't know exactly what to expect when we got there. We were pleasantly surprised from the moment we walked through the door. The house was open and bright and the view of the lake and mountains was fantastic! We were two sets of parents, a 5 year old, 3 year old, 2 year old, 1 year old, and a baby. It seems crazy to even leave the house with a crew like that, but it was perfect. The kids loved the beach and we loved that we could put the littlest ones to sleep and still relax in the sun and sand. There was more then enough sitting room inside and out, the decks out back were fabulous and the neighbors were friendly. This is the perfect spot for those who would rather just relax at the house rather then run from town to town or attraction to attraction. We went into Salmon Arm twice, and mostly we counted it as time lost at our perfect little spot. Thanks for renting your place to us, we will never forget it!!

Vacations start Fri Sat. Sun. or Mon. depending upon the week.
We do not charge a cleaning fee but expect the home to be left in reasonably clean
condition.
