The Laketown Lodge has been a great place for our youth snow retreat. The youth love all the fun stuff to do with the pool table, theater, etc. And the kitchen and large area for eating as well as our worship and Bible message time is great. And, if we needed anything, Heidi was close by and helped right away!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had a great time at Laketown Lodge! It is by far the best place to stay at Bear Lake. There were 29 of us, 14 adults and 15 kids. The kids were never bored, there was so much to do even when we weren't at the lake. The property was clean and well maintained and we felt right at home. We liked that it was so close to the lake and Garden City. We ordered a giant pizza from Bear Lake Pizza Company for dinner one night and the kids thought it was the coolest thing! We will definately stay there again! Thanks!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This was a our third time at Laketown Lodge for our family reunion. We enjoy it because the children spend a lot of time downstairs with all the games and toys and adults can do visiting and their games upstairs. We also appreciate the large kitchen and dining area. We have approximately 30 + or - a few. Adult children can arrive late and/or leave early and no problem - the price doesn't change. It was clean. We enjoyed the back yard for lawn games. It was pleasant to have Ideal Beach so close. It's a quiet location.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers.

Our family enjoyed staying at your lodge. The location was farther from the water than we anticipated but we loved the lodge itself. The rooms accommodated our big family nicely. The photos were accurate and the kids loved all the play areas. We had trouble getting the theater to work and never did enjoy that room. The downstairs bathroom didn't work and there was not a sign to warn us so some of the kids used it--sorry. We loved the yard and wished we had used it more. Heidi was great--she came over a few times to help us and was always sweet about it. I would and have recommended the lodge to others.Recommended for: Families with young children.

We've had several family reunions at the Lodge and the acommodations are first class. Our family has outgrown the 50 (actually we had 52 last summer). Everyone wanted to go back there over and over. The manager is outstanding and not in the least intrusive. It's everything we could have wanted for a reunion.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a large group gathering and the Laketown Lodge accomidated us all perfectly! Everyone had a great time as there is entertainment for all. We had such a great time we already booked our second trip!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: We bought "The Old Rock Store" (the town general store) in 2005. The building was constructed in 1907 and we completely gutted the building, brought it up to current codes and made the sad old building the nicest thing to ever hit Laketown. Three friends did most of the work, laboring day and night until the project was finished.
Why the Owner Chose Bear Lake:
Bear Lake is considered the "Caribbean of the Rockies". The lake is a beautiful deep blue color and the cool clear waters make for amazing outdoor water sport adventures.

Laketown Lodge is a luxury experience. The building and surroundings provide a high class, relaxing country atmosphere. There are no crowds in this area and the only thing you'll hear when you go outside are your own thoughts, the occasional truck and a "moo" every now and again.
