  We spent 7 nights at the cottage and never had a desire to go off looking for entertainment. It's wonderfully set up with the screened porch, decks, fire pit and dock and has everything you need with the grill and kitchen. We loved that it was not on the main part of the lake so we could see the boats but they weren't passing by us. It was ideal for fishing and swimming. We emailed Peter a couple of very minor repairs that were needed after we returned home and he was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend the property to friends and family and will be a future customer ourselves.

  Great vacation. Very peaceful. The manufactured home is just steps from the water. That being said, be prepared for the STEEP hills from the road to the property. Do NOT make the mistake of towing your boat down to the property. When they advise you to leave your trailer at the top of the hill (take a right at the sign that says Blue Water Cottage to the left) -- that is a necessity -- not a suggestion. Also -- no cell phone service from AT&T or CSPIRE. This property is close to Rock Creek Marina where my kids love to go feed the fish, and it is close enough to get fuel that is not too overly priced. When we first went down the hill, I was apprehensive, but I would vacation here again. Friendly, helpful neighbors (Don and Donna) a couple of trailers down.

  We got exactly what we were looking for with this property. The property is on a nice part of the lake, and out of the way of the main boat traffic. We slept comfortably, enjoyed the fire pit and took full advantage of the boat dock for swimming and storing our boat. We offer our thanks to the owners for sharing their property, and would definitely like to return.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
