Welcome to the Hibiscus Hideaway!
Our charming beach home has three bedrooms and two baths and is located mid-island, directly across the street from the Gulf of Mexico. Wake each morning to enjoy your coffee along with the water view from our eat-in kitchen. Walk a few yards to the sugar-sand beach and take an early morning walk. Enjoy the private pool and sand-surrounded pool area. Don't forget to take an evening stroll and experience some of the most breathtaking sunsets you will ever see.
Our home has everything you will need to make your vacation a memorable one. Relax in our beautiful private pool area. Enjoy sunsets and evenings on our pavered front deck area that is complete with a fire pit. You will find games for the kids, bikes to ride, a gas BBQ grill, beach chairs, pool floats, beach towels, linens, and a whole lot more.
The master bedroom has a queen-size bed with a door to the pool. The second bedroom features a queen bed and a connecting bathroom with walk-in shower. The children's retreat has a bunk bed (double on the bottom and twin on top) as well as a day bed with a pull out twin trundle. The children's retreat also has a TV/VCR/DVD that is video game ready. DSL internet is also available.
We are conveniently located within walking distance to the new Publix grocery store, the Trolley stop and a number of bars and restaurants.
Our home is pet friendly. As always, we ask our friends and family to be considerate when bringing along their companions. Please clean up after your pet and report any accidents.
While smoking is strictly prohibited in our home, you may feel free to smoke outside on the pool deck or front porch. Please be considerate and pick up any discarded/used cigarette butts.
We would like to welcome you to our home and hope that you relax and restore yourself. Spend some time enjoying the clear Gulf water, bask in the sun on the powdery-white sand beach and leisurely spend hours beach combing for shells and sand dollars.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean and inviting. There are plenty of windows to let in the sunshine. We loved how close we were to the beach and enjoyed sitting around the pool. It was cool while we were there so we didn't get to swim in the pool -- hopefully next time. The house met our needs in every way. Can't wait to go back.

We had a lovely stay here, and would LOVE to come back. The house immediately made us feel at home. It was set up nice, perfect decorations. The windows that are everywhere let so much sunshine in. We ended up spending alot of time inside because were here during a horrible cold snap(40" highs??) and it was still one of my favorite vacations. The walk to the beach is only a few houses up, and the kids LOVED the kids room. We had more than everything we needed at the house and would recommend this to anyone, with or without kids. Our dogs enjoyed their visit as well. They enjoyed sitting out by the pool and the walks to the beach. The pics provided give you a small amount of the warmth you feel when you walk into this house.

As a travel writer, I get around to plenty of wonderful places and this home & area of Ft. Myers Beach gave more than expected! We escaped to the Hideaway last year for a late Winter warmup and could not have had a better home! It was immaculate, charming, private and complete with helpful--not prying--neighbors. Would definitely rent again.
