We are Tom and Christy and we live full time in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We have been the proud owners of Bullwinkle's Condo located in Red Hawk Lodge since 2006. Tom is a Colorado native and the manager of a large locally owned company. He enjoys fishing on his down time and has fishing buddies all over the country. Christy is a stay at home Mom and is in the process of starting a furniture bank in Colorado Springs. Our son enjoys snowboarding, ice skating and playing football. Together with our 12 year old son, we are real estate investors (when the market permits) and enjoy boating, camping and skiing/snowboarding. We love to visit the beach and try to dip our toes in the ocean once a year!
Why the Owner Chose River Run, Red Hawk Lodge
In 2006 we had a tenant in Colorado Springs ask if they could purchase the home they were renting from us. We thought sure! And that began the task of deciding what to exchange it for. We had often vacationed in the mountains of Colorado and quickly narrowed down our choice to a property in Summit County. We felt Summit County had everything we were looking for and that Keystone was the best town to invest in. When it came time to buy we had a list of amenities we were looking for...Red Hawk Lodge met them all! It was important to us that our mountain property have the following; fast and easy access to the gondola, quite neighborhood, secure parking, onsite swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, workout room, elevator, large community room, newer building, bike and ski storage, path access, and walking distance to River Run. We love spending time at our condo during all four seasons, we never tire of the endless activities there are to do.
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
At our property we enjoy the fact that it is located on the edge of River Run. It is a quite, peaceful place to relax and unwind. The mountains are just beautiful and we love sitting in the hot tub watching the skiers come down the mountainside. We have fully stocked our condo with everything a person needs to have a comfortable vacation. The people we have met have been the best! Folks from all over the world stay at Red Hawk Lodge. Our son enjoys meeting new kids everytime we are there and their stories of skiing/snowboarding and sledding are great! It is always fun to meet friends for a barbeque, or hang out in the lobby and enjoy a movie together or a game of pool. We also think it is interesting to see what people write in our guest log and what they say about Bullwinkle (Yes, he is a real stuffed moose that lives in the 2nd bedroom and he is becoming quite notorious...it's funny to hear what people say about him and see the photos they take with him.)

Comment taken from Guest Book - We really enjoyed our stay at Red Hawk Lodge. The condo had everything we needed. During our stay we rode the Gondola to the top mtn. restuarants...what a view...it sure is pretty up there. We are looking forward to our next trip and will stay in this condo again!
