We really enjoyed staying in your condo. Very convenient to River Run Village and Gondola! We were able to come in and eat lunch each day of our stay. Also within walking distance to everything in River Run. Your condo was very clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. The pool and hot tubs where a great time. Was able to spend a lunch hour and evening sitting in one of the hot tubs watching skiers come down the hill. Thank you for sharing your condo with us. Thanks for working with us and your communication was super fast and easy. We hope to contact you again for a future trip!
Owner response:Great to hear you had so much fun! Looking forward to having you stay with us again. Thanks for the review!!!!

We really enjoyed staying in your condo. Very convenient to River Run Village and Gondola. Unfortunately, my youngest daughter developed a bad case of altitude sickness. Our ski instructor really had a time with her--I won't get into too many details-but we had to call EMS on the second day during a lesson. Keystone resort was fantastic by working with us on our lessons and ski lift tickets. The ski rental place wasn't as nice-they were more concerned about how they could have rented the skis, etc. versus how my daughter was feeling. We won't rent from Mountain View Sports again if we return. I will say that Keystone wasn't truly ideal for brand new skiers. We went to Mountain House area to practice on the smaller hills. There hadn't been much snow and the slopes were somewhat packed and icy. The condo provided everything we needed. The humidifier was a huge plus!! We never turned on the fireplace because the temperature stayed at 72 the entire time, and we even had the heat off. Our family of five were very comfortable and relaxed, especially on the days that we were tired. We loved the tubing and the ice skating on the lake. We also like River Run Pizza which was able to provide gluten free crust/pizza for my other daughter. We also ate at Wolf Steakhouse--the chilean bass was superb and also grabbed a meal at Dos Locas by SkyRun rental office. We will probably try another area to learn to ski before returning to Keystone. I love the River Run Village--like a little town!! Thanks again!! Your Arkansas friends!
Owner response:Altitude sickness is the worst! Aside from that, happy to hear you had a good time enjoying everything Keystone has to offer.

We came out to Keystone to escape the heat in Nebraska and Bullwinkle's condo was the perfect spot for us to stay. The condo was clean and updated and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The weather was great which allowed us to spend a few evenings enjoying the deck with a glass of wine. The condo was in a great location and just a short stroll to Keystone Village. The condo is also just a few steps away from the walking trail which we used daily. Red Hawk Lodge also featured a pool, exercise area, hot tub and an incredible steam room. The best part of this condo is it is so close to Dillion, Frisco, Breckenridge and Copper. On Saturday we were able to hit 3 festivals; the BBQ at the Summit in Dillion, The art show in Frisco and a music festival in Copper. If you are heading to the Summit I would highly recommend staying in Keystone at this condo. The owner was also very helpful when we were trying to make reservations. Thanks Christy for your help and we hope to be back again!
Owner response:Randal, You're right...Summit County does have a lot of fun festivals and we think it's really cool that you and your family were able to hit 3 of them in one day. So pleased to hear you all had such a great time, sounds like you enjoyed Bullwinkle's and the local fun as much as we do! Thank you for the great review, we look forward to having you as one of our repeat family renters who consider our condo their home away from home!

We all thought the condo was very nice, clean and close to the Gondy! We really enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and the grill. The two bathrooms were spacious and perfect for our group of 6. The owners were very helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.
Owner response:Glad to hear you enjoyed staying at our place and being so close to the "Gondy"...love your name for it. We are looking forward to renting to you again. Thanks for the review.

Beautiful, well stocked and clean, this condo was everything advertised. We were close enough to the gondola to ski down, kick off our skis and eat/take a break at the condo, close enough to walk to the village and a short ride to the 5 acre lake for ice skating. For some reason, I thought the extra mattress under the king bed was like a roll-away bed, but it really is just a mattress! We brought our college kids with us, so sleeping together was not an option and the mattress seemed a little flimsy for the big kids. We just pulled out the sleeper sofa and one of them slept there. Worked out fine. Kickapoo Tavern is always a local favorite. Good beer and huge portions after a long day of skiing! Thank you for working with our budget...it was a wonderful week for family bonding!
Owner response:Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We are always happy to work with people's vacation budgets (if we can) and are glad to hear you all had a wonderful week bonding in Keystone! We too, love the convenience of our location. Kickapoo's is our favorite also...hope to rent to you again!

Bullwinkle's Condo was a wonderful place to stay. It sits in a quiet part of River Run Village, very peaceful, no road noise. You can hear the creek from your bedroom window at night and the sunrise in the morning is breathtaking. The condo is very well maintained with everything you could need. The pool area is surprisingly private with beautiful views of the mountains and the sounds of the creek close by. My husband and I and our two children enjoyed exploring the area and even found a walking trail along the creek which took us to an unexpected fun spot with a rope swing that swung out over the water. Great fun! We loved the exploring the Loveland Pass, horseback riding, white water rafting, and hiking. Thanks for the wonderful memories. We did not want to leave. It made it especially nice to have such a wonderful place to come home to every night. Thank you for allowing us the honor of using your beautiful mountain condo. We will be back again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU STAY HERE. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. I would recommend you dine at least once at the Red Mountain Grill in Dillon. The atmosphere was wonderful as was the food. Very unique decor. The Hagar Family
Owner response:Keystone offers a great variety of summer vacation fun... and you guys did all our favorites. We are so happy to hear you had a such wonderful time while you stayed at Bullwinkle's. Thank you for sharing, you made us smile!

We travel all over the world and have stayed at numerous vrbo rentals. We have to say, this was so comfortable, clean and convenient to everything! What other reviews have failed to mention, is that the owners have really done a nice job of thinking of the little extras to make your stay enjoyable. For example, we cooked a roast in their crock pot and grilled burgers outside on their private grill. They have a "use some, leave some cabinet" full of baggies, foil, plastic wrap, coffee filters, coffee, creamer, sugar, flour, full spice rack, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper. (nice not to have to buy some of this stuff) They have feather/down pillows with plenty of extra blankets and throws. Our kids really enjoyed the game cube located in the 2nd bedroom, and what can we say about the MOOSE...yes, he really exists and our kids loved playing with him! They also have plenty of visitor's information, games(board and games cube), books and movies tucked away. We found Keystone's River Run to be a great place to vacation! The skiing was really good and we want to come back in the summer for the rafting, horseback riding and biking! Yes, we want to stay at Bullwinkle's Condo again! Thank you for sharing your place - we felt very spoiled!
Owner response:Your appreciation is wonderful and we strive to have all our guests feel as spoiled as you did! Thanks for noticing the extras, it is our pleasure to try to provide all the little things that make a difference during your vacation stay. Please come back in the summer, it's a great time in Keystone!

Awesome condo in close proxemity to River Run Gondola (100 yards give or take). The condo is nicely decorated with comfortable beds and large lcd T.V. Balcony with seating and grill is on the quiet side of the building. Internet access was a plus (especially to check weather and skiing conditions throughout the area). Easy travel to local restaurants and shopping in Keystone, Dillon and Silverthorn. Spas and restaurants are reasonably priced in the area. All the comforts of home. Thank you for opening your condo to us. We will contact you again in the future!
Owner response:We really strive to create a home away from home feeling, so when we get reviews that reflect this, it really makes us smile. Glad to hear the LCD TV is a hit with so many renters!

The location was great--very close to the River Run Gondola and River Run shops and restaurants. The unit was very clean, and both bedrooms and baths were extremely spacious. The flat screen TV was a nice addition.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is located in a very nice building and is located near the gondola lift at the River Run base. The condo was spacious, clean, nicely decorated and was most homely. Bathrooms and bedrooms are spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable after a day on the slopes. Underground parking was great too.
Owner response:So glad to hear you loved our place. We really enjoy renting to people from all over and hearing about their wonderful trip and how they enjoyed "Bullwinkle's".

I primarily chose this condo for convenience to a ski lift. Although not a true ski-in/ski-out, it is just one block from the River Run gondola (an easy walk through the $25 per day parking lot), and best I could tell, the Red Hawk complex is the closest accomodation to the lift. We took advantage of the convenience by coming "home" for lunches or taking breaks. With Keystone's night skiing, we got in all the skiing we could handle yet felt unrushed as we could relax and recharge in the comfort of the condo. The location is also convenient for walking to the restaurants and shops of the River Run area. The condo layout is great, with plenty of room in the bedrooms, baths, and the kitchen. This unit is closest to the elevator, which is nice when walking in ski boots. The basement parking garage is a plus. We enjoyed meeting other skiers a few evenings in the 2 outdoor hottubs. Colorado steaks taste great cooked on the patio gas grill. The management company, SkyRun, is first class, and has access to great discounts on lift tickets and rentals. I highly recommend this condo, unless you want to go when I do!

We've stayed several places in River Run but this condo in Red Hawk is our favorite. Such a short walk to the lifts and restaurants, although this year we brought most of our food with us. And this 2-bedroom is so spacious compared to those in other ski towns! Wonderful time and location.

We had a wonderful trip to keystone, the Red hawk lodge was very nice and clean. The condo was very homey and the beds very comfortable. We were just steps from the gondola. We visited the pool and hot tub how wonderful after a great day of skiing. We also went to kickapoo tavern for an appetizer and drinks. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone taking a trip to keystone. Oh don't forget to visit the Outpost and stop at the bar to say hi to Marty, the bartender he makes the best bloody marys. Have fun and see you next time!
Owner response:Hi Squeeky, Glad to hear you had a great time and enjoyed sleeping on the comfy beds. We agree, Kickapoo Tavern is a fun place to kick back and unwind after a busy day. Thank you for the review and we look forward to renting to you again. Tom & Christy

Had a great time at the condo! It was clean and conveniently located within walking distance of River Run and the gondola which made it nice not to have to drive everywhere and look for parking. Cute condo and comfy beds! Great view of the sunrise and mountains. My husband and I plan to stay there again for the wine festival in August.

We were at Red Hawk during the blizzard that hit Colorado just before Christmas. What a fun place to be snowed in! It snowed lightly for several days, and with the gondola and shops within walking distance, we didn't need to drive anywhere. The night skiing was a lot of fun too. The condo is beautiful and has all the comforts of home. We can't wait to go back!

Comment taken from Guest Book - We really enjoyed our stay at Red Hawk Lodge. The condo had everything we needed. During our stay we rode the Gondola to the top mtn. restuarants...what a view...it sure is pretty up there. We are looking forward to our next trip and will stay in this condo again!
