Our section of the "Mas de Viales" is ideally located on a hillside, surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and orchards. Quiet and restful, but close to many historic and interesting sites/activities. About 30 minutes to Avignon, Chateauneuf du Pape,Pont-du-Gard, and Nimes, and an hour from the Mediterranean.
The house is beautifully renovated, bright and fresh with modern amenities. On three levels, with a courtyard at ground level, then up stairs a bedroom with a double bed and ensuite bath with tiled shower, a bright high, beamed living area and an efficiently designed, well equipped kitchen, open to the sitting/eating area. The third floor bedroom has a queen sized bed, two large windows for excellent air circulation, and an ensuite with bath tub. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans.
The private, intimate, stone walled courtyard has beautiful gardens, colourful planters, palm trees, patio table and chairs, an outdoor tiled shower and nearby washroom. Two shaded terraces overlooking the scenic valley have separate tables and chairs, perfect for outdoor living.
The friendly village of Cavillargues is a five minute walk to a bakery, grocery store, pharmacy, bar, hairdresser, post office, tennis courts and doctor’s office. Half way to the village is an excellent restaurant. |
