Please make sure your trip is safe and trouble free. We are concerned and do want you to have a good time but PLEASE be safe. We are providing you with this information so that you’re not added to the growing list of people hurt and vacations ruined. The law in the State of Hawaii requires that all off island owners have an on Island Manager. They must be licensed, bonded and insured. All rental monies must be held in an insured trust fund. All income and taxes collected must be report to the State and Federal government at years end. These laws are in place to protect you and the people of Hawaii. If problems arise (refrigerator breaks down, key not in lock box, construction next door, maid didn't show up) on site managers are ready to respond the same day. In fact we have an experienced inspector checking every cleaning job and double checking your room the day of arrival. Don't put your money and valuable vacation time at risk by sending your money direclty to an owner who is 3-5 thousand miles away unless they have a licensed on Island manager.
What ever your decision we wish you a wonderful stay on this beautiful Island that we are thankful to call home.

The property we stayed in was outstanding, studio #1012. The property had recently been redecorated and was beautiful and in good taste. Color schemes were soothing. The view was fantastic both the mountain and ocean. The amenities ie dishes, cooking utensils, Tv, etc. were sufficient and met our needs. The service provided by the Whaler staff was courteous and efficient. I would highly recommend this property.

Arrived at the whaler room 108 and we were all more than pleasantly surprised as to the amenity's and style of this home. Meet her neighbor's right away great folks. Awesome view and great access the the beach, only steps away from the Bb-q grill which is a blessing in itself. Have only been home a short time and are already making plan with the family to return at the same time. We are hoping this unit will be available for us to use. F

Whaler 519 was a delight. Great view, service was excellent and friendly! Especially impressed on how quickly the outdoor community grills were cleaned and how clean they were for use for the guests. The Wednesday social free ice cream for guests was also a surprise and winner with the kids. Great location to shopping right off the beach and many extras in the room provided for beach activity that saved us money and space in luggage to not have to pack. Great place for kids and families.

This was a wonderful condo, 751. Worth the extra money for the ocean view. We stayed on the deck all the time. NO need go down with the crowds on the sand unless we wanted too. I slept, read my book without sand in my eyes! I loved how close to the restaurants and snorkling. We walked everywhere. Thank you for a terrific 10th Anniversary. We will be back. The Sullivans

We booked a last minute vacation to Maui this past April. We had a hard time deciding where to stay but settled on The Whaler for several reasons; Tom at Whalers Realty Management, who helped us book the vacation was so helpful and knowledgeable, it was close to Whaler's Village and its eateries so I wouldn't have to cook all the time, and it is walking distance to Black Rock for our two kids, aqged 11 and 9, to snorkel at. We had a great time. The apartment was lovely, well appointed and clean. I would reccomend The Whaler for travlllers looking for a convenient and upscale place to stay.

The Whaler 1212 was fantastic! It was just as depicted in the pictures and the view was even better (both from the living room and the bedroom). We saw whales from the lanai, even late in the season. The kitchen and bathrooms were modern and well-stocked. You can't ask for a better location, right on Kaanapali Beach, with the great shopping and dining at Whaler's Village. You could easily get by without a rental car because there is a bus to Lahaina (there are grocery and drug stores there) and the tours to the tours to Hana and Haleakala will pick you up. They serve coffee every morning poolside and hold meet and greets a couple of times per week, with Maitais and pupus. There is a business center off the lobby where you can print boarding passes and check on your departure flights (free). You get a "towel" pass at check-in, so you don't have to pack them. Maui is our favorite Hawaiian island and we hope to return again and again!!
