The location was perfect..away from the crowds, but an enjoyable 10 minute walk to the shops, boardwalk and beaches. The quieter pool was great to go to if the winds picked up at the beach in the afternoon...never had a problem finding a lounge chair to read a book. The condo was very clean and really nice to have two separate bedrooms, each with a bathroom. The only suggestion would be to have the kitchen and bathrooms updated, but the rest of the place is just like the photos on the listing. The view is also fantastic and we enjoyed our coffee in the morning and wine in the evening out on the lanai.

We enjoyed staying at this condo very much. The complex is well run and owners and guests seem very respectful of others in terms of quiet times, BBQ use and facilities. The walk to the beach is very manageable if you are not carrying a lot of stuff - and the beaches near by are very beautiful (Ulua/Mokapu). We were 2 couples staying in this condo and we really appreciated the numeric key pad system for the front door - it made arrangements for the four of us very easy. I would recommend this unit. It is well represented in the description and photos. Thank you!

Aug 2011 Stay

Our family stayed here during our 25th Anniversary. We absolutely loved this condo, the ocean view, and the view of the western Maui mountains. Grand Champion is located in a perfect spot in Wailea and is extremely well landscaped. The kids used the pool several times and I used the gas grill at the pool three times during the week. We went scuba diving with Prodiver Maui at Molokini Crater and near Red Hill. We also did shore dives at Five Caves/Five Graves and at the southern point of Wailea Beach, renting equipment from Maui Dive Shop. We rented surf boards from Boss Frogs in Kihei and surfed on the western side of Maui and at Hookipa on the North shore. We went boogie boarding at Big Beach and returned sore and a little sun burnt, but had a great time. We drove the Hana highway and visited the Haleakala National Park at the Falls and at the summit. It was great to return to this condo each afternoon. The décor is gorgeous and having a flat screen TV in each room was an awesome benefit. WIFI worked great and the kitchen is very well equipped including many spices. The TempurPedic mattress in the master suite was a draw for us since we are have one at home. Everyone in our family LOVED this condo and would LOVE to return and experience more MAUI ALOHA.

Well Appointed Condo in a Great Location

This condo is the perfect vacation rental for a couple, family or as we were 2 couples travelling together. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms were a must for us and provided the needed privacy. It has all the extras talked about in previous reviews ,very comfortable and clean. A welcome basket greeted us when we arrived .What a pleasure and a definite cost saver not to go out and purchase condiments etc.These are not found with condos that are run by management companies. We do cook and the kitchen was well stocked, in fact we left some food etc for the next people arriving.. My brother and sister in law used the hot tub and pool in the complex daily. We sat out on the lani with a glass of wine ,watched the sun set and enjoyed the fresh breeze from the ocean. Jackie was wonderful in helping us secure the rental and all went according to plan. As it is in Wailea we could walk to the beach and local shops and dine out without driving. It met all our needs and more. We will be back! Thanks again for everything.

Very family friendly with sand toys for the kids, beach chairs, boogie boards....you name it they have it! Super clean! We found many extras in the cupboards....vinegar, olive oil, cooking spray, spices, mustard, mayo....LOTS! Check the fridge and cupboards before you go to the store. The pool area is nice, I believe there are 2 of them. Great place to stay and this unit is above and beyond what I had expected.

We truly enjoyed our November 2010 stay in this wonderful condo. After many vacations to Maui and many condo rentals we found this to be the best equipped of any we have stayed in. We enjoyed cooking in the condo as well as barbecuing on the poolside grills....my husband said they were excellent barbecues and I will say that the food that came off them was excellent too. The only thing I found missing in the kitchen was a pair of kitchen shears....I understand they have now been ordered!! The view across the golf course and down to the sea was delightful....the photos are very accurate...both inside and out. While beginning to show it's age, especially in the kitchen, we found everything to be clean and in good working order....I really loved that blender that makes snow out of ice!! We appreciated that everything was very clean. It was a joy to work with Jackie during the planning and rental phase of our vacation. Her professionalism and friendliness is unsurpassed...the Peace family has a real gem in Jackie Walker! She was even able to tell me how many steps my 89 year Mom would have to climb to get to this second story unit. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to a friend or relative that was looking for condo accommodation on Maui and I would return here myself. Some of the things we particularly appreciated were: Not having to purchase usual household supplies (Toilet Tissue, dishwashing detergent, shampoo etc.) Air conditioning in all the rooms The excellent quality of all the bath and beach towels The comfortable beach chairs The huge shower in the Master ensuite The quietness of the condo both during the day and in the evenings A special pleasure for us was to see the Humpback whales. I knew we were very early in the season (Nov14-23) but we were very fortunate on two occassions. On Nov 15th we were having lunch at Buzz's Wharf and saw a whale breaching very close....then on Nov 22 we headed off to watch the surfers at Ho'okipa and were again treated to the wonderful sight of whales breaching and playing their way along the coast....I think we watched them for a good half hour..perhaps longer! Pure delight!! We loved our special Maui vacation and thank the Peace family for sharing their Maui home with us. I hope it will not be too long before we are able to return.

My husband, mother, father and I ventured to Maui for 12 days. This was my dad's first time back in 65 years. (He was with the 4th Marine Division in the South Pacific for WWII.) We spent our last five nights at the condo and it was wonderful. All photos, reviews, "claims to fame" were right on target. It was spotless, contemporary, and centrally located to the Wailea area. I can readily recommend the condo to anyone!! It could not have been any nicer.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Our family stayed at the Grand Champions complex in May 2010 and had a great stay. The condo was exactly as advertised and well stocked with supplies for our stay. It was perfect for our family of 4. ( Beach towels, chairs, snorkelling equip. & toys all came in handy) The location is close to great shopping & beaches and we would definitely stay here again. Jackie was a great contact for booking ( very prompt & helpful ) We did not have time to check out the entire complex ( pool, etc. so can not comment on that) The beaches are too great to spend time at the pool anyways!

Our family really enjoyed our stay in your beautiful condo. It was close to all of the great beaches we enjoy, and we especially loved how quiet the complex was. We spent may nights at the pool, BBQ-ing and meeting people from all over. Your condo was clean and had many items that really came in handy. We recently came home from Maui and we absolutely loved it. Your condo was so comfortable and we immediately felt right at home. Everything was well equiped; from the kitchen, to the beach toys, washer and dryer, games, and novels. You guys even had movies my kids had not seen, amazing. The view from the room was beautiful. We really loved eating dinner on the deck and sipping cocktails while watching the sunset. We exercised daily by running the short distance to the beach and then ran down the beautiful maui coast. If we had more vacation time we would be on the next plane back to Maui. We'll be booking for next summer and we can't wait. Thank you for a great vacation and great family memories.

I have stayed for various lengths of time over the past four years during different seasons and have always felt relaxed able to really enjoy my vacation from the first opening of the front door. The decor, furniture, flat screen televisions, stereo and golf course and ocean view from the lanai allow for an amazingly comfortable stay in this condo. The master bedroom and bathroom are richly decorated and a great way to end sunny beach filled days with some pampering for yourself. This condo provided a convenient access to West Maui's awesome array of beaches, golf, shopping at Wailea and is very close to the ocean activities and shopping that Kiehi has to offer it's visitors. It's worth every penny for the choices in amenities that both the condo and complex offer it's visitors. The location is great and worth every sunset picture and memory you will make here. The owners and their bookings coordinator really want each visitor to have a comfortable stay and have arranged their Maui home to be accommodating to singles, couples or families. It is really easy to see their calendar of available dates online and to book with them. The owner and booking coordinator are very friendly and can offer great advice for activities, weddings, special events, restaurants and beaches to meet any vacationers needs. They have an excellent and friendly house keeper who resides on the island and helps maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization. I have, and will continue to recommend this condo as a place to stay for any of my friends or family headed for an escape to the beautiful island of Maui. This is the second time we have enjoyed your beautiful condo. My husband and I took a getaway vacation last year and enjoyed ourselves so much we couldn't wait to come back. My mother enjoyed having her own suite and there was plenty of room for the kids. The laundry was our lifesaver with packing. We enjoyed roaming all over the island but our favorite view is sunset on the lanai. Thanks for thinking of everything a family could possibly need for a beach picnic, snorkeling and boogie boarding adventure and a extended family bbq by the pool. We can't wait until next time.

Aloha! We made a June trip to Maui for 9 days with our 3 Kids and made your fabulous condo our home away from home! Spacious and very nice the view and accomodations were excellent. The location was great and the beach and snorkel gear came in handy on our trips to nearby Ulua and Wailea beach. This was our third trip to Maui and it was perfect as always. You guys were wonderful to work with. The condo is beautifully furnished and stocked with all the essentials, and then some! Our bed was extremely comfortable and I love the oversize shower! We shared the condo with another couple and having 2 master bedrooms was great. We really enjoyed the view from the Lanai and we made full use of the beach items supplied, particularly the great beach towels, chairs and umbrella. My husbund especially enjoyed the boogie boards. The condo is situated on one of the best properties of it's kind in the area. It's close to the mall with all its shopping and very good selection of restraunts. Getting to the beaches is quick and easy. If you've been through Kihei town during peak season you will really appreciate having the Pilani Highway so nearby. We highly recommend your condo and will definitely consider returning again soon.

Aloha, We just returned from Maui and we just wanted to let you know what a wonderful stay we had in your condo. From the moment the front door opened, we knew we had made a good decision. The new furnishings are beautiful. We love the CD Player, internet connection, and flat screen tv's. We made sure to take advantage of the Beach chairs and towels, and even sipped Mai Tai's from the lanai, while we watched a beautiful sunset. Your kitchen was fully stocked...right down to the spices. We will surely share the word about your PEACEFUL MAUI CONDO.
