Location: Montalto delle Marche, The Marches, Italy, Europe (90 Km from Ancona and Pescara's airports; 210 Km from Rome)
Accommodations: Apartment, 4 Bedrooms, 2 Baths (Sleeps 2-8)
The holiday farm, Pian della Laga, is placed in the wonderful landscape of the Marches hills. The house was built at the beginning of the 1900s, and it has recently been redesigned with the purpose of both owners to let townsmen rediscover flavours, images, and the rhythms of a forgotten life.
Farm products and specialties are prepared for breakfast. The house offers guests true comfort and relaxation. Guests can have their meals in some nearby restaurants or along the coast.
If you love nature, you can walk around fields and taste fruit, watch farm animals, make jam, prepare bottled vegetables, and take part in the wine-making process in the nearby factory. Scenic natural excursions can be taken by foot or mountain bike along the Aso River and in the owners' woods.
Pian della Laga Bed and Breakfast is located in an optimal position: In 15 minutes, you can reach beach resorts on the Adriatic Sea and the park of the Sibillini Mountains with a breathtaking landscape including rich fossils, gorges, and crystalline springs.
If you love art, only 30 kilometres away you can visit Ascoli Piceno and Fermo or take part in a guided tour of villages from the Middle Ages spread throughout the territory. In Montalto delle Marche you can visit the fortified Mill of Pope Sisto V (XIV Century), the cathedral and the crypt, the civic art gallery, the historical library, the diocesan museum, and the municipal archives.
Only five kilometres away, you can find the archaeological discoveries of Monterinaldo (II Century B.C.), and eight kilometres away is the Castle of Rocca Montevarmine and many churches from the Middle Ages (XI-VII Century).
