Comfortable old home with a cozy farm house feel. Situated on the crest of a knoll in Harborside overlooking beautiful Penobscot Bay. Our Sunroom on the second floor is a favorite spot to watch the lovely sunsets over the bay with the Camden Hills in the distance. Harborside is off the beat and path and a wonderful area for walking, biking, hiking and kayaking. Just a short walk to Goose Falls and Holbrook Island Sanctuary. Wander down the path in front of the house to sit on the rocks close to the ocean, or take a swim at the little beach just down the street for the house.
Surrounding area include picturesque towns of Castine, Blue Hill and Stonington. Take a ride on the mail boat to Isle Au Halt, or a day trip to Acadia National Park. Or just sit on our private deck and let the ocean mesmerize you. Very quiet and relaxing area away from it all. The house is not too large for just 2 but also has plenty of room for 6 people. Enjoy the cozy woodstove in the kitchen or the Fireplace.

What an incredible view! After only a couple of days here, I'm in love with the place. If there's a better place to read and nap, than the upstairs livingroom looking out on Penobscot Bay, I'd like to see it. I have never come across it's equal in all my years coming to this area.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/2

It was great to be back in this beautiful place. It is a paradise for our five-year olds and us too. Goose Falls, Blake's beach, riding bikes, toasted marshmallows and scary stories in front of the fire place, and much more made our vacation great.Did you find this review helpful?
