We have stayed in a similar casita a couple years ago and came back because of our good memories and the amenties provided. Perhaps the management has changed, or maybe we just arrived at a time when the units had not been as well maintained. Various issues including a noisy heater, uncomfortable sofabed, lack of shampoo and soap, and arriving to an uncleaned unit.Recommended for: Pet owners, sightseeing.
Owner response: Our housekeeping made a mistake on their schedule so unfortunately, the unit was not ready. However, as soon as we were notified, the cleaners went over there. Perhaps due to the mix up, they were not able to check on the shampoo, etc as that is normally provided. The heaters are gas and one is a new heater as of last year and is no louder then any other heaters in the other units. We have not had other complaints on the heater. The sofabed does have a foam pad that guests can add (it is in the closet with the washer and dryer) but doesn't fit when the bed is folded. Guests never contacted us on this issue or the lack of shampoo which we would have easily addressed had we been contacted.

very charming casita part of 4/5 other ones. this one is larger than the patron II so can fit people who need more space. Patron II has more space outside which we actually enjoyed very much. Both are very well done and equiped. We will highly recommend them to all our family and friends. Real walking distance from the plaza yet very quiet. and for anyone who like real good croissant there is "Clafoutis" at 5 minutes walk just at the end of the road where you will have best croissants in town and french pastries as well as full range of breakfast and lunch. I am french so you can trust me.Recommended for: Girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

The location is excellent and we appreciated the style and casual comfort of the hotel. Specifically, we enjoyed the use of the community sitting area with comfortable couches and we liked the hot tub. Also the movie library was a good touch away from home. The dedicated, off street parking was a plus as well.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway.

My boys, ages 7 & 10, and I stayed here for 3 nights and then my husband joined us for a fourth night. It was in a great location, about 1/2 mile from the Plaza. We felt very comfortable walking into town every day. The Patron II is really nice - well decorated and stocked with kitchen appliances and soaps/ shampoos. It has a great two person shower. The bedroom was nice with fine linens and it was very comfortable to sleep on. My boys slept on a pullout couch in the living area. There were two fireplaces that we didn't use but i'm sure would be nice (and romantic) in the wintertime. We used the community hot tub every night. It is situated next to an outdoor fireplace. My favorite part was the gigantic flagstone, mostly private, patio/porch. I spent a lot of time there enjoying moments of solidtude, enjoying coffee or a drink. This place would be great for couples on a romantic getaway but it worked great for us too. It is one of 9 units in the same complex, and would be a great place to have a family reunion or gather a few other couples/ friends for a vacation together that also offers privacy when you need it. We would certainly stay here again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
