Perfect Casita, perfect location!!

We had the most amazing stay in your Montoya Casita. It was very spacious and so convenient to the Plaza (just about a 6 minute walk). We found the Casita had all of the New Mexican charm with the convenient modern updates. We loved the wood floors, stand alone fireplace, spanish decor and tile, AND the flat screen TV, free wi-fi and stainless steel fridge. All the furniture was very nice as well. During our stay, the fireplace had stopped working and there was a maintenance person that came to repair it within just a few hours of our call. We have booked many stays through VRBO and this was probably the best as far as living up to the posting! Our favorite part of the casita was the hot tub. We spent 3/4 nights in the hot tub relaxing at night. My husband bought some firewood and build a fire in the fireplace next to the hot tub. It was so private and wonderful. I know it was a shared tub between the several casitas but we actually never had to "share" with other guests. We would definitely return again and recommend to everyone. I couldn't believe how affordable it was as well. You can't get a better value and amenities so close to the Plaza. Thank you for providing us with an amazing place to stay!!

Recently stayed in Montoya Casita. Great location, walking to Plaza and Railyard, but kind of run-down neighborhood. Interior was okay, but also a bit rundown. Window A/C units were very noisy, and didn't cool well on 90 degree days. Shades were torn and mostly broken. Ants kept crawling into kitchen. Parking hard for six cars that had to juggle spaces. No check-out instructions that we could find. It was an okay stay, but we wouldn't stay there again.
Recommended for:Pet owners.
Great place, great location. Beats staying in any hotel hands down.

I booked this place for two nights and decided to extend our stay one additional night. The casita makes you feel like going home after a day in Santa Fe... glass of wine, hot tub. the kitchen has everything you need to fix breakfast and dinners if you don't want to go out. the walk to the plaza is easy and pleasant. Very pleased.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
