Amazing view of the Mediterranean from the living room AND balcony! - Nice, France Vacation Rental There is a reason this apartment stays booked and we have guests who have come back three and four times. Make sure you click "read guest comments" so you can read exactly what past guests have told us over the last SIX years of bookings. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee on the balcony overlooking the Mediterranean watching the sunrise. All of our guests tell us the view takes their breath away every time they see it. This 1 bedroom apartment in a secure building with an elevator is totally remodeled and is very clean and inviting. Just 10 minutes from the airport and you're there! We are on the 6th floor. After your coffee, enjoy a stroll along the Promenade - just walk out your front door! There is no place better to walk and people watch than the Promenade in Nice! You can see from the balcony there are lots of swimmers (even in the winter) in the early morning time. Why not join them? Museums - too many to count. Amazing day trips - how about Eze, Menton, Monaco, Cannes, St. Tropez, Grasse (home of perfume!) and even Italy are just a quick car, bus or train ride away. Be back in time for dinner. (Read the guest comments for a myriad of tour ideas and suggestions from guests who have actually stayed in this apartment). Swimming? The luxury SAS Radisson Hotel just down the street offers daily rates for rooftop swimming pool. Winter? Skiing at Isola 2000 is just a couple of hours by car (or there is a bus as well) and the skiing is very good. Leave Sunny Nice and suddenly you are on a ski lift. You will find everything you need here and will be greeted upon your arrival by our friendly caretaker (Monica or Vanessa) who will give you the keys and show you the apartment. They both live in Nice and Monica speaks English and Swedish as well as French. Monica is happy to tell you about her adopted city and you will find lots of tour books and brochures in the apartment to get started planning. You will find the kitchen to be very updated, clean and well equipped. There is even a washer for your clothes and an ironing board/iron. (Sorry no clothes dryer). A blow dryer in the bath means you don't have to pack yours. Check out our availability calendar prior to emailing as it is updated frequently. (We have many returning each year to our apartment). We update the calendar frequently. Summer Months have just been made available for booking! Those who have enjoyed the apartment most seem to be couples (both young and older), families with one to two young children and singles who need a time out to relax. This is NOT a party location for young renters. This apartment is used often by the owners who live in California and they are very particular about keeping it neat, clean and well furnished. Free parking on the street in front of the apartment and it can be surprisingly easy to find a space. The owners and other renters state that after many trips parking has never been an issue for them (though that can't be guaranteed during your visit of course). We invite you to enjoy your stay in Nice! You will simply be amazed by the view! Promise! We accept Paypal but fees are paid by the renter. Please Note: Rentals run from Saturday to Saturday with an arrival in the afternoon and departure in the morning. Shorter, mid-week rentals may be available depending upon the season. However, departure needs to be on or prior to Saturday morning to allow for cleaning for the new guest arriving Saturday afternoon. Exceptions can be requested but are rare and depend upon season and bookings. Welcome to beautiful Nice, France and our getaway overlooking the sea. A very short bus or train ride from the Nice airport.
