Great for parents and a toddler

I researched countless properties for our trip in mid-June 2011. We brought our 2 year old daughter, who won't go into choppy water, takes a 3 hour nap in the middle of the day, doesn't do well eating out because she is a toddler and likes to run around, so we needed quiet, 2 bedrooms, beach on site so I wasn't hauling baby stuff all day, yet someplace that felt like home. This condo has all of that and I hope this detailed review will help someone else. Walking into the unit, it feels light, airy and beachy. The view is incredible. My husband is a foodie and does all the cooking, and the kitched was appointed with everything he needed to fix a gourmet meal for the three of us plus our 6 guests. The pictures on the website do not show the 1080P wall-mounted adjustable TV's with DVD players. The living room TV was huge and the bedroom TV smaller. The bedrooms, bathrooms and closets were large. The linens were soft, not scratchy. The master has the same view as the living room, and we loved laying in bed watching the waves. The building is secure; gated access to the parking and lobby and the condo door has a code entry, no key required. The deck is amazing; I loved sitting in the corner section so I could see the Gulf (no building restricts the view) and the Sound while catching the gulf breeze. Gulf access is a hop across the street. The pool was large, nice and clean with lots of lawn chairs. If you need shade, the pool has a large overhang you can move your chair to, but no shade in the water. The beach has a limited shady area, so bring an umbrella. The area is really quiet; lots of owners in residence. Everything was so clean. With a two-year-old we didn't eat out at all, but got take-out from Flounders-YUM!! Publix grocery store was 5 minutes away and had a wonderful selection of foods at a good price. The owner was wonderful about communication and the rental process was simple. The storage shed at the unit had 3 blow-up rafts, 3 beach chairs, a grill, crab catcher, and some beach toys. The only restaurant we went to was Flounders for take-out. The atmosphere was alive and beachy, they had a gigantic play set for kids to play on and the food was great. We also went to the Air Force Museum and want to go back. We also wanted to go the the historic section of town, but ran out of time. Definitely going back!

We have rented this unit for a week 4 of the last 5 years and have never been the least bit disappointed! We have stayed anywhere from the first week of April to the middle of June and the weather has always been quite nice. Not terribly hot but usually plenty warm for sunning. The unit itself is modern, comfortable, and conveniently located on the 3rd of 15 floors. (No waiting and waiting for the elevator!) The property grounds are very well maintained, quiet, and secured via touch pad entry doors. It is just across the street from the Gulf, but has an excellently maintained pool and a beautiful, private little beach right on Pensacola Bay that is wonderful if the Gulf is too windy or wavy. The owner of this unit is very attentive and wonderful to work with year after year. No impersonal agents to deal with, ever. Tristan Towers is just a short walk from "Peg Leg Pete's," one of the best restaurants on Santa Rosa Island and a short drive from "Crabs," "Hemmingway's," and "Flounders" restaurants, fishing charters, Wave Runner rentals, Parasailing, and shopping. If you are looking for a nice, comfortable, fully equipped condo unit for 2-4 adults (up to 6 with the sofa bed in the living room) that is very reasonable, you've found it! We always look forward to visiting this spot and will be back again and again.

Excellent Accomodation for our extendedn family - Walk to the beach!

We spent a wonderful week at this beautiful condominium. This Fort Pickens Road location fit our requirements perfectly: We wanted beach access, but we did not want to be overrun by other tourists. The quality of the furnishings was as advertised. The condo was very well kept & exceptionally clean. We were pleased with the kitchen & made use of the provided appliances & dish ware. We used the washer & dryer frequently as we had grandchildren with us! The view from the balcony is definitely as advertised - what a wonderful way to start any day! We have already recommended this property to friends & to other family members..We had a wonderful meal & service at Hemingway's Island Grill? in Gulf Breeze. Family members visited the National Naval Aviation Museum & were very impressed. We visited the National Park facilities & enjoyed a docent led tour of Fort Pickens.

Awesome place to stay.......Views are wonderful, decor is beachy, Bushwackers were A+, very private. It was worth every penny to stay in this condo. Highly recommend. It was a great way to spend New Year's weekend 2007. Can't wait to go back. PS. Eat at Peg Leg Pete's, just a few blocks away. Great seafood. This was a memorable place to spend my 40th Birthday.

WOW!! THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CONDO WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN. THE DECOR,VIEW LOCATION AND AMENITIES WERE PERFECT IN EVERY RESPECT. I CAN THINK OF NO HIGHER PRAISE FOR THIS JEWEL THAN TO SAY WE WILL BE BACK ASAP!!!
