Awesome place to host a wedding

This house is amazing. We hosted my daughter's wedding here. The beach is breathe taking with a sugar white sand beach and underneath the beach house is an amazing place to host a wedding reception. The house has everything you can think of. The caters really loved the kitchen and the extra prep room. The new pool is awesome. We all spent lots of time there. I just can't say enough about how this beach house really made our stay and my daughter's wedding the best ever. All the guest loved the house and is still talking about it. We all spent lots of time out on the front decks watching the ocean and at night we spent time on the back deck watching amazing sunsets. A great time was had by all. The owner was very helpful with referring venues and went out of their way to make sure everything was ok. I would highly recommend this beach house for a wedding or even a vacation. I am hoping to return in two years to celebrate my 25th wedding anniversary here. Thanks again for allowing us to rent this wonderful house. We will never forget what an amazing time we had here.

The home is amazing! We rented for the first time this year and have already booked next year. Other houses we rented were not as clean or nice. The location is great, just a block off the beach, great pool, yard and outside space. Sherri the owner is great and very responsive when we had questions. They take great care of the home - clean, in great condition and very nice decor. It's our new home for our annual vacations!

Thanks so much for sharing your home with us. The owner worked with us on very short notice to work out the details to be able to rent their home. They were very accomodating and the home is exactly as you see in the listing. It's an unbelievable home and the owners certainly made the whole stay an incredible experience. We will DEFINITELY make this an annual trip! I would highly recommend this property!

We live in Las Vegas and Our family has traveled all over the world. We now have stayed at Tan and Broke on two separate occasions and find the beach to be the BEST in the world and the accommodations are spectacular. This spacious home offers Ritz Carlton like amenities at a reasonable price. The ability to walk and bike for endless miles is unsurpassed! Every night we sat on the top deck soaking in the beautiful Florida sunset enjoying an adult beverage made in the hip bar room. This home provides two family rooms, so the kids can watch Disney and the guys can watch uninterrupted sports in separate areas of the house. No matter the season, the experience is unforgettable!

We just spent 5 weeks at this lovely home. The house is beautifully decorated and is very comfortable for a family. The kitchen is a ccok's dream and is very well equipped. We especially enjoyed the fireplace on the cold days. The outside seating areas are large, comfortable and have great views. The location is great - a quiet street just steps away from the Gulf. The owners were great to work with and very attentive to our needs. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

"PERFECT" in every way. We stayed at this beautiful home for 4 nights and had a great time. The home easily accomadated all 10 of us, the new pool was awsome. The kids were able to walk across the road to the beach with no problems. Everything in the home exceeded our expectations, the kitchen is wonderful for cooking and entertaining, the bedrooms and baths were all very nice. We would rent this home again without a doubt...

I had my wedding at this house and it was gorgeous! The house is perfect for any occassion and the owners are wonderful. I would recomend this house to anyone and can't wait to stay again.

Relaxing Getaway

'Our stay at 'Tan and Broke' was more than we expected. The house is beautifully furnished, clean and filled with every thinkable amenity. The kitchen is a cook's dream. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable. Also, the room and bed configuration was perfect for several adults/children. Everyone in our family had something to do and felt at home. Access to the beach was very convenient (even with small children and all their toys). The house is a short drive to the supermarket, as well as restaurants. The owners answered all our questions prior to our stay and made the rental process straightforward and easy. We highly recommend this house. It is well suited to adults or families with children. Whether you love hanging out on the beach or lounging on the balcony looking out into the Gulf of Mexico you won't be disappointed.

We rented this wonderful house for 5 nights in October 2007. There were 10 of us who shared the beautifully furnished home. The owners have fully equipped this house with everything needed for a family vacation. There are plenty of top quality sheets and towels. The kitchen is huge and equipped with everything needed to cook and serve even an elegant dinner party. There is satelite TV in EVERY room, stereo speakers throughout and and awesome bar/pub with fridge and icemaker and seating for about 8-10. (This happened to be the most popular spot in the house during our stay due to non-stop rain.) The beach is just steps away and there are beautiful views of both the Gulf and the Sound from the 4 decks. There is ample parking. We hosted a wedding reception on the concrete slab under the house. There was ample space for dancing and dining for our party of about 75 guests. BYOB (Bathing suit or bottle) and you are all set for a great holiday.
