This home was great. As described. Clean and comfortable. No bad surprises here. Children friendly and a excellent value for the price and location. We were two families of 5 with 6 young children (under 7 years old) and the short walk to the beach which is just down the street was not a problem. The beach cart and outdoor shower were very convenient. What sets this home apart from the others is Karen's customer service, I'm not sure you can have that with an agency. She's always available for you before, during and after your stay and promptly answers any questions you may have. The only downside to our trip was the traffic getting in and out of OBX on Saturdays but that has nothing to do with the home. We just didn't know about it so we got caught in it. As long as you are aware, you can arrange your schedule to avoid the peak rush. Now you know! Thanks again Karen for the great vacation.

This is our third year renting from Karen. The house is very well maintained and everything you might need is supplied. Karen is always available - both before and during your rental period. We love coming here - the beach is gorgeous and uncrowded and the house is very well equipped, especially for families with children. We can't say enough about our yearly visits to Duck!

Hi Karen, We just returned from the most fabulous week at SeaClusion. We have two little grandchildren ages 3 and 18 months and the house was perfect! Our son and daughter-in-law raved about the house, the pool and the beach which is an easy walk even for toddlers. The house is everything Karen promises and so inviting and comfortable, the way a beach house should be. Every convenience is provided in the kitchen and throughout the house. The new flat screen is great for kid videos too. Our family is already talking about next year and we just left! Thanks for everything, Karen and for making beach dreams come true! Clare

Mama fox raised abandoned kittens as her own, daddy fox is always there by her side. My Guest, C., made sure that her grand child was going to at least, catch a glimpse of our fox family, and hear their call. I can tell you from personal experience, a grand mom will never give up the search, and she did not. C. found them on the last day of vacation, her grand children were amazed to see the fox's and hear their unusual bark...now that's a memory that the children will not soon forget, and one very cool grand mom! I wonder where the fox baby's are, they are no longer kittens but two grown cats! Thank you for this wonderful review, and sharing some of your precious memories with us. I am so happy your family was able to share a beautiful week at the beach together.

We had an Amazing time in the Outer Banks. A couple of the things we did were, crabbing, fishing and parasailing. The house fits our family so well and we love everything about it. We plan on coming back to Seaclusion next summer. Thank you so much!

Our time here was an adventure! We saw a shark, sting ray and snake. The weather was amazing,fitting well with our activities. We went parasailing, crabbing, mini golf, go-karting, and much more! Our week here was filled with excitement, laughter, and most of all,FUN! We had a great time here and hope to come back soon.

Thank you, we had a great time. The boys loved the pool and hot tub. We went on a Dolphin Watch, and saw many dolphins, and got a great lesson. We saw the Wild Horses and went to the beach to find crabs, shells, and see all the different wild life, that we can't see on Lake Michigan. The weather was hot, but we made the best of it. Thanks to my sister and brother for getting our family together!

Thank you for offering your home for others to enjoy. It was fantastic!! Everything we'd hoped for! The Privacy was so wonderful and the quick access to the beach was a nice surprise! We've come for 14 years and this was the most private of any place we've stayed - that would be my favorite part. We have 4 kids in our party and they loved the back yard with all the kiddie stuff. The weather was perfect! We found a turtle right in fron of the driveway, and the kids squealed with delight. We set Mr. Turtle under the tree for the next family to enjoy. My dad is hard to please, and he said your house was perfect, he enjoyed that you could find shade any time of the day somewhere here. With other homes, there was never any shade. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, we loved it, can't say enough!

Thanks for again sharing your home with us. The kids are a year older, and much more adventurous with "their Ocean". Several hours every day were spent jumping waves, scooping water, and pouring sand. Several more were spent getting wrinkly in the pool. Ashley learned the joys of relaxing in the hot tub, although the grown-ups didnt find it as relaxing with the kids in there. David celebrated his 3rd birthday on the day after we arrived, with a chocolate "Duck Donut". We spent one rainy day at the Aquarium, otherwise the weather was perfect for a week at the beach. The kids said goodbye to the beach with sadness tonight, and all wish we could stay here forever. I have to say, I would not mind that one bit. Our Memories will carry us through to next time when we come back to our little piece of paradise.

My twin brother an I celebrated our 40th birthday together with our families. We flew and drove from Seattle, Montplier, Vt., and Durham N.C. It was blazing hot this week, so we ended up using the pool much more then we thought we would. It was great having the swings and sandbox for the kids, and we used the grill for a few nights too! Also, very pleased to find quality toys and books for the kids. Thanks so much, we hope you will have us back in the future.
