The house is located in one of the quietest areas of Carmel, south of Ocean Avenue. There are fireplaces in the kitchen, living room and master bedroom. Just minutes to the beach, shops and restaurants.

Great house in terms of layout, comfort, character and cleanliness. Was perfect for our needs to explore Carmel, the Big Sur and Monterey - really great holiday. We would recommend it!

My family and I just returned from a trip to the Monterey Jazz Festival and a stay at Dorothy and Ron's home in Carmel. Attractively arranged and decorated, the house was comfortable and roomy for all of us, including twins who have just turned five. We found Dorothy and Ron to be pleasant and helpful, and we would recommend this house to others and definitely enjoy returning there ourselves. As one of my grandsons stated, "This is the coolest house ever!"

We were so lucky to find this gem and spend a lovely week with another couple. The pictures do not do justice to the lovely bedrooms and gourmet kitchen. Ron and Dorothy provide excellant advice on local restaurants and activities. Perfect setting for a great area.

What a find! This gorgeous home is located within walking distance to shops, restaurants and beach. It has a beautiful, serene backyard with 3 fireplaces and a gourmet kitchen with all necessary appliances. We had a very memorable stay and wish we could've stayed longer. This home was truly one of a kind with elegant furnishings and felt like a home away from home. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home, we hope to be back soon.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house worked well for our family of 3 generations and we had a wonderful week.The house is in a central, convenient yet quiet area. A highlight for the kids was a trip to the Monteray Aquarium and they were very appreciative of the 2 quest passes. Many Thanks!
