  We stayed in this condo for a week in early May....although the weather was still a bit cold we had an amazing time here. Simply amazing view, we ate almost every meal out on the large balcony. Kitchen was furnished with just about everything we needed, everything was really clean and tidy when we arrived. The walk-in showers were really great after a long day at the beach/pool. Since the beach was a bit cold and windy when we went, we spent a lot of time on the bayside of the complex enjoying the lazy river and heated pool. My 2 year old loved the Splash Gardens kiddie area as well. We loved the Boardwalk area which is really close with great restaurants and shopping. This place is really close to downtown as well, my wife enjoyed shopping there a few afternoons. Overall a very good vacation and we will definitely be looking at the same place next year.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  We so enjoyed our long weekend in the dead of winter in this beautiful ocean front condo. The sunsets were so incredible and this unit is truly on of the best locations in this development. Furthermore, the owner was incredible to work with, and even helped us by shipping back some clothing that we inadvertently left in the dryer. Highly recommend! Our only disappointment was that several of the local stores were closed and slated to reopen in February. The local restaurants, the lovely views and beaches, and the comfortable condo made for a great trip/experience regardless.

You have amazing sunrise and sunset views from this condo, don't you? You and your husband were a pleasure to have. I have not had that happen to me but I will have to find out which ones they are so I can redirect my winter tenants to local shops that are OPEN! I know the SanDestin Outlets are always open!! Haha.   My husband and I spent most of December in this gulf front condo and truly enjoyed each day. The living room and master bedroom have breathtaking views of the ocean. Watching the sun rise and set each day from the balcony was the best part of the trip. Also, we were able to watch the dolphins most mornings as they made their way to the pier.The condo itself has a fully equipped kitchen, extremely comfortable master bed, and roomy bathrooms. Bill, the manager, was readily available when we had questions and promptly attended to any issues. The workout room is directly below this condo and has a great variety of machines. Food in Destin was good everywhere, but we found the McGuire's lunch special for 6.99 and frequented their often. (Although this condo is on the 4th floor, the elevator is right outside the door, which makes packing stuff to the beach a breeze too.)

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  I have never been to west Florida and boy was I spoiled!!! From the Condo to the view of the Gulf I was overwhelmed with beauty. I was a little lost at first but the rental company made it so easy by giving me a package of information every question I had was answered from were to get gas to were to go to get a nice breakfast. I knew were to go for everything. It was so stress free. I really loved this Condo it was so clean the floors were just cleaned the furniture and kitchen area were so up to date I felt like I was in a magazine cover for Coastal Living.The view of the Gulf was so close and the porch was so big I could just relax and drink my coffee every morning watching the sea life and birds. I also enjoyed watching the jets fly by, such interesting planes. The chairs and umbrella on the beach were complimentary and for someone that came as far as we did one less thing to worry about. Truly a relaxing experience looking forward to coming back and staying at the Destin West Beach and Bay Resort. We will see you in March:)

  I cannot even begin to say enough wonderful things about our week's stay at the Saved By the Beach Condo. This was the perfect location, right on the beach front, right up the stairs from the pool and convenient to the parking garage. The condo was beautifully decorated and was very comfortable for my family. My father, who has a heart condition, was able to rest comfortably while we enjoyed the beach, without feeling like he was missing out on the fun. He enjoyed sitting out on the ocean front patio with a cup of coffee and watching the tide roll in. We were able to find great restaurants and entertainment in a short distance of the property and had no problem accessing other neighboring properties and their facilities which were free to us as condo guests. We will definitely be staying at this condo again and enjoyed every single day!! Thank you so much to the owners who did not spare any luxury when offering this condo to visitors like myself.   We had a great week at this condo. We chose it because of the resort amenities and it's close proximety to the beach. This was our first Destin vacation with our two children (9 mo & 3 yrs) so we knew we would spend quite a bit of time in the condo and on the balcony (which we really enjoyed.) It was very convienent to get to the pools and beach and the drive to the grocery/restaurants was not bad. The only cons I have about the unit is that the floors/rugs need a major cleaning...our feet were black from walking barefoot and the tile grout is pink from mildew? We also ended up vaccuming under the sofa (bed)ourselves because there was lots and lots of food/dirt there when we pulled it out. Aside from the few cleaning mishaps we loved the unit. We would definetly consider staying at Destin West again.

  Owner response: I am so glad you had a great time at our condo and Destin West! I do want to first apologize for the cons listed and explain. I promise the pink places on the tile grout are NOT mildew. We had a chemical reaction to bleach used on the tiles and it turned it pink in some places. We have a tile specialist coming to fix the problem this month, but it does take about 4 days to correct the problem and we have been booked solid. Also, we have switched management and there has been some mix-up with the deep cleaning schedules during our transition. We are presently taking care of these issues and I am so sorry you vacationed right during the transition. Again, we want to apologize for the inconvenience this caused you and your family. We will strive to make sure this never happens again! We do pride ourselves in taking great care of our unit. I do hope you will return to our wonderful gulf front unit again. We do hate when tenants are not 100% satisfied. Please let me know if we can help you again with future vacations and I promise, our condo will be spic-n-span for your next vacation.   This was our 3rd family trip to #401! After a hot trip to Disneyworld, this was the more relaxing part of our vacation. Over with the oil threat & some small tar balls, we were able to enjoy the beach everyday. Morgan (4 1/2) also continued to enjoy the spray park, lazy river, and pool. She even learned to like going underwater! We are thankful for this time we got to spend together! Miller Family and Pop and Lolli
