Beautiful 2-story beach house built in 2006 with 5 car covered parking in the award wining Ocean Lakes Resort in Myrtle Beach. Gated family oriented community with 24 hour patrolling security-10 MPH speed limit enforced allowing safety for children on bikes and scooters. Street front location for easy access-even accommodates F350 dually. Outside hot and cold shower. WiFi wireless internet available; golf cart provided with week's stay.
Tile floors in kitchen, dining, den, and baths; carpet in bedrooms. Upper and lower covered decks. Satellite TV plus basic cable on 6 TVs including flat panel Samsung LCD in den. Intercom system for all three levels including parking.

Did not like Ocean Lakes Campground. Way to crowded. Years past have stayed in North Linchfield and it was much nicer. House was O.K Cleaning crew did not do a good job with inside of house. Trash was not picked up until Tuesday which caused a problem when sitting outside with smell/flies.Owner response: As owners, we cannot control when Ocean Lakes staff picks up trash. Their designated pickup day for our location is Tuesday and Friday which does allow trash to be left for a couple days. Ocean Lakes is so popular that it does have lots of guests--in fact, the resort has been designated the "National Campground of the Year" several times during the past 10 years which tells you it is a very up-to-date and well-kept resort.

We have rented a beach house in Ocean Lakes for the last 9 years now. We have rented a different house every year - some better than others. Ocean Lakes is always our favorite vacation location, because of all the activities on the property and right outside the property. This house was very clean and spacious. The first week we had a total of 14 people at the house, and still had room for a few more. The second week we only had 4, so we didn't use the upstairs. The kitchen, dining and living room area was large enough to accomodate our crowd. The patio furniture on the desk was nice quality and there was enough of it for our whole family to dine together on the deck. What make this property so much different than a few of the other nice homes we have rented, is that the owners were so friendly and helpful. They made every detail of our trip a pleasant experience. We will certainly be staying in the property each summer that it is available for us to rent.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.
