Beautiful canal-front home located in prestigious Venetian Shores sub-division. 100 foot dock with davits and fish cleaning station on wide deep water canal. Waste no time or fuel getting out on the water only 100 yards from Snake Creek then only five minutes to either the Ocean or Florida Bay. The US 1 bridge at Snake Creek is a drawbridge therefore sailboats or tuna tower vessels are not a problem. Fuel and bait are available on either side of the creek at either Cobra Marine or Smugglers Cove Resort.
This house has a bright spacious open floor plan with cathedral ceilings surrounded by french doors and windows. Large balcony/terrace overlooks the canal and the dock. In addition you can catch a beautiful sunset over Florida Bay from the third floor balcony. Pool is heated.
The house is centrally located in a quiet residential neighborhood and is only a short distance from excellent local restaurants, supermarkets, dive shops and only 2 miles north of the world famous Holiday Isle Tiki Bar. Just a few miles further south you will find the Cheeca Lodge with the only golf course in the upper keys. Guest are able to visit the Village of Islamorada Founders Park (old Plantation Yacht Harbour) with its Olympic-size pool, sandy beach, skate park, ball fields, basketball and more. A great place for relaxation and enjoyment for you and your family come as you are no formal attire required.

I had a wonderful time in this spacious four-bedroom home in a lovely setting in Islamorada. Upon our arrival, we were personally welcomed by the owner and given a tour of the house. The owner was kind enough to take time to tell us about favorite local restaurants and sights to see. The home is wonderfully light and airy feeling. There is plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy the tranquil setting, fish from the dock, soak up the sun on the decks or in the pool, and watch the boats, fish, and birds on the canal and bay. The sea breeze was refreshing, and watching the palm trees dance in the breeze was calming. Although the nightlife and activity on Islamorada is only minutes away, the home is peaceful and quiet, and instead of noise, we heard the gentle sound of the sea.
Islamorada is perfect for boating and fishing and is only a few minutes’ drive from Key Largo where you can dive and snorkel to your heart’s content. We had a pleasant drive to Key West, making many stops along the way to view the plants and wildlife of the Keys. The view from the famous Seven Mile Bridge is beautiful with the blues and greens of the ocean and gulf dotted with boats. You’ll enjoy your taste of the tropics in Islamorada.

We all enjoyed our month stay in this home. We are a large family and everyone had plenty of space to relax and enjoy. The outdoors were great the pool area as well as the back terrace was our place to have most of our lunches and dinner. Next to the pool is the dock that provides great dockage for our 2 boats and plenty of space for the kids to fish. The home is centrally located to all the amenities Islamorada has. Our favoritre was the sand bar ( 2 minutes from the home) and the great reefs to dive or snorkle. We are returning next yea !!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This lovely and spacious home suited my needs and those of my family perfectly. It was cozy, yet there were enough rooms and yard space for much needed "alone" time. Floating in the pool and overlooking the backyard area, we were able to appreciate the refreshing breeze and the visual sights which added to our tranquil setting: moored boats, clear water, mangroves, etc. The children fished off the docked catching snapper and even a barracuda. They even spotted a clown fish. We had a wonderful and relaxing time!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We spent Thanksgiving there & had the best time! Everyone had a room & the kids used the top floor master as their "domain"! Love the trees around the property they do a good job hiding the neighbors. Just don't back out at 60 MPH! Besides, the house is on a cul-de-sac, so maybe 3 cars an hr drive by. Very quiet setting. Kids loved to fish off dock. The patio runs the entire length of the back of the house, so you can sit up there & watch the kids fish. Sooo relaxing! This is an awesome house! Enjoy your stay!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

What a wonderful time we had! The location on a canal close to the open water allowed for fishing and swimming off the wide and spacious dock. And our kayaks were often used on the tranquil waters. The heated pool was so inviting we spent many hours there! This spacious home has so much space, numerous bedrooms and bathrooms! The open balcony on the second floor offered a beautiful view and we ate most meals there. Plenty of space for sunning or just enjoying the peace and quiet of this lovely spot! The location is also very convenient for many of the sightseeing opportunities the Keys offer. The neighborhood and the home set up made us feel very secure; even with the children (Ages 4 to 18) playing on dock. We are looking forward to returning for another family reunion!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway.

We had one of THE BEST Thanksgiving gatherings EVER! The house was perfect for us three sisters, our spouses, children and Grandma and Grandpa who also was celebrating his 80th birthday! We had no trouble working in the kitchen because the island and the layout of the appliances was perfect! The balcony overlooking the canal was convenient to the kitchen and made it easy to watch the antics of the seven cousins as they fished, swam and kayaked. We also liked the 1st floor foyer with plenty of room to stash coolers and other gear we didnt want to or have to bring upstairs. The master suite with additional room and large bathroom was perfect for the largest family. We will be back again, and again, and again! Thanks!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

The home is exquisite nestled among an island paradise environment . The children and adults enjoyed the pool and all of the outdoor area. A short boat ride away we all went to the sand bar on a daily basis IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!! When the tide is low, it is shallow enough to take beach chairs and sit on the sandbar ; we all enjoyed ourselves. The home is spacious, very clean and with all the details vacation home should have. Our whole family had a great time and will come back next year .Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

My family and I have not stayed in such a beautiful home in a very long time. It has all the comforts of home in a true luxury Keys .home. Spacious with wonderful views,The master suite is a get away in its own has its own private balcony and spa, spacious bedrooms, bathorooms and a kitchen to die for!!!! Great for our family reunion. The kids could not get eoungh of the pool fun and sun. Fishing at the dock was their favorite, we had a hard time putting them to sleep at night. There was something for everyone without having to leave the home. I love the home, beautiful, clean, luxury at its best... Thanks to the owners for having such a great get-a-way for us to be able to enjoy We will be back year after year for sure.... One of our favorite vacation spots and your home made that possible.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.

This house is fine if you can put up with a pool without a patio, walking on gravel in bare feet is uncomfortable.Furthermore, if sitting broken plastic furniture dose not bother you this is the house for you. Most of the kitchen pots silverware and small appliances are very cheep, if you rent here bring your own! The overgrown trees and shrubbery in the driveway make it very difficult and down right dangerous to exit the driveway. In fact one of our guests did have a car accident leaving the driveway. And what ever you do never spend any of your own money on the house expecting to get re-embursed from the owner, even if they say they will. For what the rental fee is you can do much much better if you look around.Recommended for: Adventure seekers.
Owner response: It is worthy to note that this Tenant is not a VRBO client as he has always rented the property through a local Realty, thus his primary and only point of contact to resolve any issues rest with the Realty and not the owners. This Tenant has rented the property for 6 consecutive years, why then did it suddenly become unacceptable and of lesser value when compared to other properties in the area. Surely he had ample time to secure another property over a 6 year period. Then the answer becomes obvious, because it is beautiful and spacious home in a great location with excellent amenities competitively priced. The TRUE FACTS why this tenant wrote such inaccurate and demeaning review are as follows: During his 2011 stay without obtaining prior approval the tenant purchased a household item for the sum of $150.00 for his personal use and comfort. The expenditure is not reported until 6 weeks into his 2012 stay at which point the Realty is notified and in order to please their client he is offered a credit of equal value towards his 2013 visit. The tenant rejects the offer and demands reimbursement in the form of cash or check or he will not return the following year. (1) Silverware and small appliances they are in good shape and meet or exceed industry standards. However he fails to mention that major appliances are top of the line Sub-Zero etc. (2)Trees and Shrubs: unlike other area properties that use pebbles and low ground cover and shrubs, we are nature lovers and enjoy being among trees, consequently over the years we have created a keys Hardwood Hammock that enhances the property and provides privacy and shade. (3) At the time the pool was added Local Code prohibited a deck do to Storm water run-off; however stepping stones and a small paver deck has been added. The pool furniture is plastic and it is replaced as the need demands. Due to the salt air environment any other material would just oxidize prematurely. How ironic that after 6 years his unreasonable demands are not met and suddenly the property becomes unpleasing and unacceptable
