  We stayed in this condo 1/12/08 to 2/9/08. I am a very picky person when it comes to staying at places like this!! In fact I am a clean freak!! This condo was extremely clean and well maintained. It is decorated so nicely - very tropical:) I loved that the bed has french doors that also go out onto the big balcony, as from the living room also. Everynight we would open 1 door and listen to the gulf. Boy do we miss that!!! The views are incredible from the balcony. The location can't be beat. It is 1 mile from 59, where most of the resturants and stores are, yet where the condo is, it's very quiet and not nearly as busy and crazy if you go more east. Also, Ricky, the owner, is so helpful and kind. I feel like we've know her for years. I promise you won't be sorry if you rent this condo. It's perfect in every way:)

  My wife and I have been to many resorts/condos in the US and overseas, but our experience at Surfside was just super ! The condo was so well maintained - clean, tidy, organized. The beds were so comfortable, appliances/TV's the most recent, and the layout of the condo superb. And, to top it all, the ocean views and surroundings can't get any better - just fantastic! The property manager was so helpful in setting up the reservation and giving us all the necessary details for a great trip to the Gulf. We will definitely be back to stay again, and soon - the area is so attractive to providing a most pleasurable beach experience. Thank you so much ! Steve & Lee

  This condo was perfect, It had everything you would need. It was decorated beautifully, but more importantly it was comfortable. The building up keep very well. Wished we rented for the month. Very quiet. Take advantage of the great values of the month of November. Some noise from yearly building powerwashing but not disrupted, the beach and weather were wonderful. The fireplace was very inviting for the cool night. If you want to spend time with a special someone this is the condo for you . It really is a romantic getaway condo. Great place for honeymoon,anniversary or birthday. The owner was wonderful to work with. Hope to rent from her for 2 months next year. We will surely return to one of her condos.

  My husband & I and two dear friends from TN stayed at this condo in September of this year and we were very pleased with our stay. The description and photos were accurate, everything was clean and up to date. We were so close to the beach and sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean was my favorite pastime. We will recommend this property and try to visit again. Thanks

  Very clean and accommodating. My toddlers loved the sand toy bag, and we did too because I was expecting to have to make a trip to the store to purchase some. We enjoyed our stay and Ms.Ricky is very easy to work with and trustworthy. Thanks for a great family vacation! We will definitely consider returing to this condo and Gulf Shores, AL in the future.

  This condo is great! You have everything you need for a great stay at the beach, including a bag of toys for digging in the sand! The room is very clean and in a perfect location. Not too high up and not too low - just right! The elevator is right outside the door and only steps from the pool and beach. We loved it! I highly recommend this condo!

  We had a great time on our vacation and your condo was wonderful. No problems at all. In fact, we’ve stayed at Surfside Shores two or three times over the years and yours was the nicest unit we’ve stayed in thus far. Loved the decorating and all the amenities!

  Our family came home from staying in this unit yesterday, and we are ready to return! This condo was just perfect for our family of four. As the other reviews have said, it is clean and well equipped. The view could not be improved upon, and the decor was perfect in my opinion. It has a beach feel without being overwhelming, and the colors were up to date and fresh. That may not matter to many, but it definitely added to our stay for me. There were great books, games, a pack and play - I could go on and on! We would definitely stay in this unit again!

  March 21-26 2011 Ricky must be doing something right! This is the 4th year my family has stayed in one of her units. We were there 2011 when the tar balls came in. But that did not keep us from returning. We love this place. And you will too. My favorite things about Ricky's units are that the elevators are just outside of your door. And Surf Side is sooo close to the ocean. No long walk to the beach. There is plenty of room and she has everything you could possibly need. We did have to replace a few light bulbs, but there were plenty on hand. We had the most beautiful weather you could ask for---perfect all week. This was our 1st. trip south this early in the year. Booking is easy with Ricky. She was able to work us into a unit at the last minute. Don't miss THE HANG OUT, LAMBERTS and LU LU'S--Fun for all ages. Gulf Shores is good for all age groups.

  We had a great time, our first at Gulf Shores. The condo was great. Right on the beach. You cannot get better ocean views. The condo was well equipped, very clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly as well. We would definitely recommend this condo. We also like the location, close to stores and restaurants but just far enough for privacy.
