This condo was perfect, It had everything you would need. It was decorated beautifully, but more importantly it was comfortable. The building up keep very well. Wished we rented for the month. Very quiet. Take advantage of the great values of the month of November. Some noise from yearly building powerwashing but not disrupted, the beach and weather were wonderful. The fireplace was very inviting for the cool night. If you want to spend time with a special someone this is the condo for you . It really is a romantic getaway condo. Great place for honeymoon,anniversary or birthday. The owner was wonderful to work with. Hope to rent from her for 2 months next year. We will surely return to one of her condos.

My husband & I and two dear friends from TN stayed at this condo in September of this year and we were very pleased with our stay. The description and photos were accurate, everything was clean and up to date. We were so close to the beach and sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean was my favorite pastime. Very clean and accommodating. My toddlers loved the sand toy bag, and we did too because I was expecting to have to make a trip to the store to purchase some. We enjoyed our stay and Ms.Ricky is very easy to work with and trustworthy. Thanks for a great family vacation! We will definitely consider returing to this condo and Gulf Shores, AL in the future.

This condo is great! You have everything you need for a great stay at the beach, including a bag of toys for digging in the sand! The room is very clean and in a perfect location. Not too high up and not too low - just right! The elevator is right outside the door and only steps from the pool and beach. We loved it! I highly recommend this condo!

Our family came home from staying in this unit yesterday, and we are ready to return! This condo was just perfect for our family of four. As the other reviews have said, it is clean and well equipped. The view could not be improved upon, and the decor was perfect in my opinion. It has a beach feel without being overwhelming, and the colors were up to date and fresh. That may not matter to many, but it definitely added to our stay for me. There were great books, games, a pack and play - I could go on and on! We would definitely stay in this unit again!

Great Condo-Right on Beach

March 21-26 2011 Ricky must be doing something right! This is the 4th year my family has stayed in one of her units. We were there 2011 when the tar balls came in. But that did not keep us from returning. We love this place. And you will too. My favorite things about Ricky's units are that the elevators are just outside of your door. And Surf Side is sooo close to the ocean. No long walk to the beach. There is plenty of room and she has everything you could possibly need. We did have to replace a few light bulbs, but there were plenty on hand. We had the most beautiful weather you could ask for---perfect all week. This was our 1st. trip south this early in the year. Booking is easy with Ricky. She was able to work us into a unit at the last minute. Don't miss THE HANG OUT, LAMBERTS and LU LU'S--Fun for all ages. Gulf Shores is good for all age groups.

We had a great time, our first at Gulf Shores. The condo was great. Right on the beach. You cannot get better ocean views. The condo was well equipped, very clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly as well. We would definitely recommend this condo. We also like the location, close to stores and restaurants but just far enough for privacy.

Our stay at Surfside Shores #113176 was great! The description and pictures on VRBO do not do this lovely condo justice. It is the most beautiful unit we have ever stayed in, and this was our 7th year in Gulf Shores. The whole Surfside Shores property was very well maintained, always seeing people clean areas like the pool, ramp to the beach, windows in the lobby, elevator, etc. The owner of this property was always very accommodating and easy to get a hold of either through email or phone. I even spoke to her once when she was actually in Gulf Shores. I would highly recommend this property/condo to any family or friends, but only if we are not staying there first! Some of our favorite restaurants include: The Oyster House, Mikees, West Beach Grill (next to the Waves store down the block, in walking distance), and Lamberts is a must for families!! Heaven forbid there are rainy days, but the Tanger Outlet Mall is very nice to walk around. "The Track" is a great evening activity for families as well. Overall, we love the Gulf Shores area, and highly recommend this property/condo!!

Just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful vacation at your condo in Gulf Shores. Weather was perfect and what great white beaches. We found some wonderful places to eat, enjoyed a dolphin tour, minature golf, go carts and many other fun activities. All the people are so friendly and we enjoyed listening to the "southern accent". My grandson made many new friends while we were there.

We had a marvelous time with our daughter, son-in-law and 2 beautiful grandchildren. The condo fit our needs perfectly!!! We were inside mostly just to sleep. Outstanding condo! My wife and I visited Gulf Shores this month - our first time. We shared the condo with another couple and we really enjoyed ourselves. The weather was great, the beach was beautiful and the Gulf Shores area had a wide variety of activities for us to check out. Our family had the most awesome time here at your condo. The weather was hot and the waves were big so we loved our beach time. When we were in the condo we enjoyed the balcony and the Margaritaville machine was perfect for all our beverages. We also liked cooking our meals on the grills by the pool. Your beds were so comfortable unlike some we have had other years at other condos. We hope to stay in this condo every year now since we like it better than any we have ever stayed at before here in Gulf Shores. Thank you Ricky for all your help with the reservation.

A beautiful wreath on the door welcomed us, and everything about our rental of the condo met and surpassed our expectations. The description on the website truly tells it like it is--a very clean, fully and tastefully appointed "home away from home," with sun, white powder sand, surf and pools at the doorstep, and great view and breeze on the private balcony. Added bonus -- the proximity to nearby supermarkets and rainy day options: public library, shopping center, movie complex, and choice of good restaurants. It was a great spot for a couple of seniors to "crash" for a week -- we look forward to a repeat visit! Thanks, Ricky!

The view from the balcony is awesome. The condo made me feel like I was at home. Everything you need is provided except what is mention to bring with you. I didnot want to leave the condo. The condo is very comfortable and is well maintained. There are 3 TV's so you can watch what program you want to see. However there is not much time to watch TV as there are so many things to do around Gulf Shores. This was my first visit to Gulf Shores and I hope it will not be my last visit.

Words cannot describe how excellent this condo was. This was the first time I had rented a condo for the beach and would do it again in a heartbeat. This condo unit had everything you could need and want. It had a homey feel to it the moment I walked in. Very nicely decorated and very clean. The beds were very, very comfortable. Great view of the ocean. I hope we can stay at this condo again and I would highly recommend this condo and the owners!! I would also highly recommend eating at Lambert's and the Original Oyster House. We also went to the zoo and had a great time there. Other than that, just kick back at the ocean or the pool and enjoy!!

This was absolutely a dream location for our family of five. Everything was exactly as indicated on the website. Ricky was extremely helpful with tips about the local fun things to do, restaurants and every silly question I had about what to bring, since we had never rented a condo before. We drove from Wisconsin over spring break with our 3 children who had never been to the ocean before, we were not sure what we were in for, other than the great descriptions on her website. The condos are situated in a perfect place along a gorgeous beach. The location was stunningly beautiful. It was so relaxing to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the ocean. The beaches were so clean and white, the shelling was awesome (we found 10 sand dollars in one evening). The kids saw and did so many things they had never experienced. The condo, is truly a home away from home. We all felt comfortable in it right away. It was incredibly clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with everything you could ever need for cooking. The balcony was huge and had beautiful views of the ocean. The condo was quiet and restful which my husband and I definitely appreciated. The pools were wonderful, we used the heated one since most of our days were in the low 70s. The access from the pool to the beach was perfect too. Everything was as promised, if not better. I would definitely rent from Ricky again. Her attention to details about the rental and the experience were so reassuring and really appreciated by our family. We would give this vacation home our Highest Recommendation ! After an 18 hour drive back to Wisconsin, we have to say it was so incredibly worth the trip. We had a great time and felt that our kids made memories of a beautiful place at the ocean, that will last a lifetime. This is really a great vacation destination !!

No disappointments! I'm so glad we not only chose this location but this specific condo! Elegance would sum it up. Thank you Ricky for following through with all the details to make our vacation experience such a great one! Walking from the condo right onto the beach was a real bonus and not to mention a warm comfortable pool. My boys are already begging to visit again next year. Needless to say, this vacation was long over due and much enjoyed. I wish all my vacations ended like this! Thank you again for thinking of everything so we didn't have to.

We stayed in this condo 1/12/08 to 2/9/08. I am a very picky person when it comes to staying at places like this!! In fact I am a clean freak!! This condo was extremely clean and well maintained. It is decorated so nicely - very tropical:) I loved that the bed has french doors that also go out onto the big balcony, as from the living room also. Everynight we would open 1 door and listen to the gulf. Boy do we miss that!!! The views are incredible from the balcony. The location can't be beat. It is 1 mile from 59, where most of the resturants and stores are, yet where the condo is, it's very quiet and not nearly as busy and crazy if you go more east. Also, Ricky, the owner, is so helpful and kind. I feel like we've know her for years. I promise you won't be sorry if you rent this condo. It's perfect in every way:)

What a wonderful place to spend time relaxing and enjoying quality family time! The condo was beautifully decorated and immaculate; we had a lot of fun, relaxed and felt right at home. WOW! We've been coming to Gulf Shores for years and this was the best condo ever. Looks just like the pictures but it is comfortable and feels like a second home. Our most recent stay at Surfside Shores was perfect! The view of the ocean is fantastic! We spent so much time on the balcony because it was such a beatiful view! The sound of the ocean was enough to want to sleep on the balcony also. The condo was nicely decorated and the master bedroom bed was so comfortable! The white sandy beach was like walking on a mattress. We enjoyed crabbing at night and swimming in the pools or at the beach during the day. It was a wonderful vacation that our family will always remember. We will be returning!

What fantastic views! The gulf view from the master bedroom is truly beautiful to wake up to every morning. this is the third time we have stayed in the unit. Now that we have a child in tow... it was great not to have to bring our own pack and play along. The unit provided one for us. The living area was spacious enought for our daughter to explore without being under foot. The pool area was very clean and the water temp was perfect for our little one. We were able to get wonderful pictures on the white sand beach.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. Ricky was very gracious and helpful with our reservation process. Everything we needed was there, from a booster seat for the babies to sand buckets and nets to catch crabs with. The condo was very nicely decorated, without being too "fussy" to be comfortable with our kids. The view from the large balcony was breathtaking...especially on our last night with a full moon on the water. The very nice beach is just steps from the complex and we also enjoyed the pool and kiddie pool. There was very little or no noise in the unit, and the door was directly across from the elevator. The beds were super comfortable...I slept better than I do in my own bed! We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone! Thanks!

A GREAT place to stay. This is our second year at the same place and we will be back again next year. The beach was just wonderful and we had a great time. Our children don't want to go anywhere else.
