Come relax in an area which is Georgia's best kept secret. Pine Mountain is home to Callaway Gardens and Roosevelt State Park and is only 8 miles from Warm Springs and FDR's Little White House. Surrounded by beautiful hardwood and pine trees, this lakefront property is truly a hidden treasure. Built in 2005, out of Maine grown white cedar, and furnished with antiques in keeping with it's charm (including the kitchen cabinets hand made from the wood from an 1850's farmhouse), this cabin is truly a getaway to which you will want to return again and again. From your first cup of coffee on the deck listening to the awakening wild life, to the glistening, diamond studded lake at sunset, this is truly a memorable experience.

Upon arriving, you will be welcomed with a basket of fruit and homebaked goodies to enjoy during your stay. Spend your days visiting Callaway Gardens (only 2 miles down the mountain),or shopping in the most unique shops a town can offer! Within walking distance are beautiful hiking trails and riding stables.

After dinner, which you may have prepared in our well-equipped kitchen, you'll find yourself relaxing on the quiet deck in summer or by a cozy fire in the winter. Or perhaps, you've elected to visit one of our local restaurants. You'll find everything from pizza and barbecue to the finest of dining experiences. There are menus for you to peruse prior to making a decision.

    Hello Ms Diane: I want to take the time to thank you for all that you did to make my son's 13th birthday the best ever!!!. We all had a great time and I cannot tell you how much fun he had.   • Jan, thank you for sharing your home with us! Our stay at your cabin was incredible! The hammock and the lake (complete with fishing gear), coupled with all the extra amenities was absolutely amazing! Your old albums were an especially nice touch. (Our boys had never seen an album before, and we enjoyed listening to them on the record player.) It was private, peaceful, comfortable, close enough to the sites of interest and we all enjoyed our stay. Thank you for putting together a wonderful and restful slice of paradise to rest and relax in. We can't wait to become "frequent fliers". We've been recommending you to everyone.. so the best kept secret is out :)

  • My husband and I spent a wonderful Valentine's Day weekend at this romantic log cabin. Although it was too cold to canoe on the pond, we enjoyed walking around the pond and relaxing on the deck. We loved the beautiful antique furniture and cozy ambiance. The cute town of Pine Mountian offers numerous antique shops for browsing and restaurants for dining of all types. This cabin is definitely a "must return" place for us! Nancy and Don

  • If you're in need of a relaxing vacation in a comfortable cabin overlooking a beautiful lake...this place if for you. I can't stress how perfect the entire experience was. The owners are great people to work with. They had homemade treats waiting for us when we arrived! The pictures on the site AREN’T touched up. In fact, they don’t do the cabin justice! Don't think twice about booking this amazing place. You won't regret it. We're already brainstorming when we can return!
