Our home is in Surfside Beach, SC, in Oceanside Village, a gated community with 24 hour security. The floors in the living room, bedrooms and kitchen have been newly redone for everyone's enjoyment. The beach is a short 5 minute walk away, with private beach access. Golf carts are available for rental from the village management office and there is a private beachfront parking lot for the carts or your car. Also at the beach you will find the Conch Restaurant, a favorite of locals and tourists alike.
Relax on the deck and enjoy the open lakefront view of the new Community Center, tennis courts, children's playground, indoor pool, as well as the ever popular ducks and swans that inhabit the lake. You can even fish from the backyard. There are two community swimming pools, one indoor and one outdoor, just a short walk away. Access to the community fitness center is also available to adults only for a small, per person fee.
Linens will be supplied if you choose not to bring your own. We require that the responsible renting party be at least 25 years old. Small dogs only (maximum 20 pounds) are permitted. Sorry, but we cannot accept cats. No smoking is permitted in the house. Smoking is permitted outside on the deck and receptacles have been provided. There is no land-line phone in the house. Broadband internet with WIFI is now available.
A $200 ($300 if you bring your pet) refundable security/damage deposit is required at booking with full payment due 30 days prior to arrival. Weekly rentals are Saturday to Saturday. Snowbirds welcome. We ask that you leave the house clean for the next guests, otherwise a $100 cleaning fee will be assessed against the security deposit. Cleaning supplies are provided. Deposit and payment accepted by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover) or check.

Thanks so much for letting my friends and I enjoy your beach house. We had a great time just relaxing on the beach and talking about old times. The concert at legends was a lot of fun, but we all agreed that the banana boat ride was our favorite thing. Hope to be back again next year. Your place is just perfect!

Thank you so mcuh for letting us stay at your cozy little vacation spot. It was perfect! You've certainly thought of everything a family would need in a home away from home. We enjoyed the safe and quiet neighborhood, the indoor pool and the short ride to the beach. For those with dogs there is a great dog park off 17, across from the Myrtle Beach State Park, in the Sea Gate Village. Again thanks for everything. We hope to come back soon.

Our stay at 272 Flamingo was wonderful. A very lovely little vacation spot. This week compared very good with our previous vacations to this area. It reminded me of my vacations that I had here with my parents when I was growing up. Thanks very much we will miss your fine feathered friends.

We enjoyed our stay at 272 Flamingo very much. Your warm and caring touches have made this place so home-like and comfortable. We also participated in some Oceanside Village activities , indoor pool every morning, art and crafts in the afternoon. We enjoyed feeding the ducks and the view of the lake. Hope to be able to return in the near future.
