Orchard Farm is a unique, fully-furnished home nestled against the Mission Mountains in beautiful western Montana with a spectacular view of the Mission Valley. The original design of the house was created specifically for the owner and custom built by the architect. It has two bedrooms with queen-size beds, a twin size log bed, a twin trundle bed and two baths. Amenities include a woodstove, all bedding, a washer/dryer, linens, dishes and a fully-equipped, modern kitchen to prepare your own meals should you choose to.
Orchard Farm is located on 15 acres with apple, cherry and plum trees, split-rail fenced pastureland and forest. It is bordered on the east by the Mission Mountain Wilderness Area. Private woodland lies to the north and south.
The owner lives nearby and is available for any assistance you may need. It is home to one horse, a dozen chickens, countless white-tail deer, turkeys and coyotes. Numerous species of hawks, owls, and song birds frequent the land. Pets are welcome with advanced arrangement. Two friendly dogs and two cats reside with the owner.
Horse owners may use the rail and smooth wire fenced pastures during their stay. Ride along the wooded trails right from the barn. The owners speak German and encourage German-speaking visitors to vacation at Orchard Farm and the Mission Valley.
Minutes away from Flathead Lake and the Flathead River, Orchard Farm overlooks the beautiful Mission Valley located on the Flathead Reservation of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes. The Mission Mountains offer numerous hiking trails to alpine lakes and breathtaking vistas.
Less strenuous walks are waiting right outside the door of the Orchard Farm or a short distance away. The surrounding area offers a wealth of year-round activities to visitors. Enjoy the quiet, peaceful side of nature with leisure time free from the hectic, noisy, stressful aspects of life.
