Built in 1839, this charming 4 bedroom Vermont farmhouse is conveniently located on Route 100, just minutes away from Stowe Village and the recreation path and only 15 minutes from the ski area. The farmhouse shares 6 ½ acres of former farmland with five separate cottages available for seasonal rental.
A great summer vacation spot, the property features lots of on-site amenities that will be enjoyed by the entire family! Behind the historic Vermont barn sits the hot-tub pavilion, which also serves as the entry to the large pool and patio. Just steps away inside the barn is a game room with traditional family games (such as ping pong, hockey, foosball, etc.) These amenities are shared with the other Home Farm guests.
And Stowe has much to offer in summer as winter - great hiking, golfing, biking and much more to do in the picturesque outdoors. Plus, cultural activities such as live theater, music and a great variety of events make it a top eastern vacation spot for the entire family.
Post and beam construction highlights the main floor of the house. A large family room is equipped with a television, DVD and VCR players, radio/CD player, and comfortable seating including a queen-size sleeper sofa. A "hot tub" spa is located on the private screened porch just steps away from the full bathroom and complete laundry facilities found off the family room. A dining room with seating for 10 is situated just off the large eat-in country kitchen. The 4 bedrooms and 3 ½ bathrooms upstairs provide ample accommodations for 10. A huge master suite with a king-size bed, queen-size sleeper sofa and television is located at one end of the hall, adjacent to one of the full baths.
