My family prefers to do vacation rentals over using small dingy hotel rooms. So we have had our share of rentals over the years. This tops the list in views, ambiance, comfort, and cleanliness. This is a very very comfortable and clean rental. You can tell the Sean and Adrainna truly love this home away from home and have made it available for renters with all the comforts of a true home: extra towels and linens, well-equipped kitchen with nice and ample dishes and silverware, clean and newer furniture, tastefully decorated, spacious rooms, large bathrooms, etc. I usually do not do laundry while away, but doing the hikes may necessitate doing some laundry and it was awesome having the washer and dryer. If your goal is to relax and have a nice peaceful quiet vacation then this spot and this condo is what you need. The condo is built in such a way that every room except for the bathroom has a view. Unobstructed, clear views of the ocean are seen from the dining room, living room, kitchen, master bedroom, and the of course the patio. I could not understand the layout of the house from the pictures and wondered at how one could see the ocean from all these rooms but what they did is that the kitchen and the master bedroom are both on a higher level that the dining room and the living room and hence you get unobstructed views from all of these rooms. The descriptions of the pictures and the pictures themselves are accurate. Actually believe what you see! Another beautiful thing about this Condo is the Ocean breeze! The condo is again built beautifully in such a way that you get to enjoy constant ocean breeze day and night. We personally love the sound of the ocean and the waves and we had the windows open the whole time. The condo is about 45 min away from the airport. There is a great supermarket (Foodland) in the Princeville Center some 7 minutes away from the condo. It closes at 11 pm so if you arrive in the evening you will be able to buy your groceries on your way to the condo. Since this was our first time we did not know what to expect so we bought our groceries from Safeway in Kappa. Finally, communicating and interacting with Sean and Adrianna was easy and smooth. Sean sent us detailed instructions on how to get to the condo and how to gain entry. The condo also has a booklet on the kitchen counter that has valuable information. We highly recommend this rental for anyone who wants to rejuvenate and re-energize as we did. Aloha!
Owner response:Noha- What a kind and wonderful review of our home, however, as much as Adrianna and I appreciate your words you are at the condo now, so, get off of your computer and go play!!! Thanks Noha, aloha. Sean and Adrianna

First off Sean is a great guy and he took lots of time to tell us about what to expect. We loved every moment at the Condo with that amazing view of the beautiful water and as most of the reviews it's everything and more. Our kids enjoyed the condo and location and we highly recommend it. We will surely go back as soon as possible. Thanks again Sean for your hospitality.

If you are considering a Hawaii vacation, and you are or you would not be on the vrbo site... If you want the vacation of a lifetime, like the one I will be finishing tomorrow, whatever you do, do not stay anywhere but in Sean's great home. I lived in these islands for five years and have been back here countless times, the beauty of this island is absolutely hypnotic. Sean's beautiful home is right above the bluff down to your own private beach...there is a reason they call it Hide Away Beach...l; You have ocean front view and an incredible view of the Nepali coast as well. Everything is five star... The condo is impressively furnished, extremely comfortable and you will feel immediately "at home" here. I had to go to Maui to work for two days and I could not wait to get back "home". Sean is very easy to deal with, is really concerned about providing an atmosphere that will make your Kauai adventure one you will never forget. I am already making plans to come back... As I said at the start, why would you go anywhere except Kauai and why would you stay anywhere besides Sean's wonderful home. Sean, Mahalo, for truly making this an unforgettable experience. Warmest regards... Ed Adams

Where to begin...Sean and Adrianna's beautiful, deluxe condo was a second home to our family during our two week stay on the magicial Island of Kauai!! This trip was very special to us...it was our 25th Wedding Anniversary Vacation with two of our three children and we wanted it to be very magical and memorable. The Condo was deluxe...beautifully decorated with exquisite art work and word carvings. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. Infact, I can say...my first night's sleep was the BEST sleep I have had in years. The Kitchen was well equiped with spices and cooking facilities and our children where thrilled to have bedrooms of their own with TV's and DVD's!!. We spent most of our evenings on the beautiful deck over looking the South Pacific Ocean. Birds singing in the morning and Gecko's chirping in the evenings, watching glorious sunset's over Bali Hi while sipping our cocktails or eating our local seafood. We adventured during the day exploring pristine beaches, hikes, kayaking and ziplining...knowing full well we could return home, exhausted to our restful, deluxe condo. Thank you so much Sean and Adrianna for sharing you're home with us. This is one holiday we will never forget and will definatley contact you when we plan our next vacation to Kauai. This condo was perfect for my wife and I, plus our two adult children. Honestly, there were so many great reviews on Trip Advisor, that I was concerned this condo would not live up to all of the hype. But that was not the case. Sean and Adrianna have created a lovely home on one of the most special places on the planet. We truly enjoyed everything about Puu Poa, Princeville, Hanalei Bay, Napali Coast, etc, etc. My son and I hiked over 18 miles on trails and snorkeled almost every day. We also played tennis a lot, as there are courts just outisde the front door of the condo. If you are determined to stay on the North Shore near Princeville, then you will love staying in this condo. It would be perfect for a family of four or two couples. It's also a very quiet place with awesome views. The owners are great hosts and have everything you need to make your visit very comfortable.

My husband and I just returned from Kauai and a stay in this wonderful property. The view was simply amazing. It was wonderful to fall asleep in the master bedroom to the sound of waves and wake up to the sight of the ocean. Lovely mountain views, including a waterfall, were visible from other rooms. The condo had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We cooked more often than we had planned, simply because it was so nice to sit outside and enjoy the view while eating our meals. Beach equipment, including towels, was also available. The owners were extremely helpful and and easy to work and responded promptly to any questions. It was obvious they take pride in their condo and want others to enjoy it.
Owner response:Thank you Fay for your kind review and thanks again to you and Brian for taking such good care of our Kauai home. We are glad you had such a great time and look forward to hearing from you again. Take care, aloha. Sean and Adrianna

Please note, I am recalibrating my rating scale to a very high (neigh impossible) standard for "excellent" (think/imagine Cloony villa on Lake Como...ok, maybe Stephanie Inn, Cannon Beach, Oregon). Good=just fine, VG=really, really like it, E=Nirvana. On my new scale, this is a solid VG This is a lovely, spacious, clean, comfortable, 2 BR/2Bath unit overlooking ocean in Princeville. Hanalei Bay, Bali Hai can also be seen by looking left. Unit has interesting interior design that maximizes views, windows, and breezes. Decor is an artful and comfortable South Pacific theme that I warmed up to once cruising past the remarkable Bali Hai formations on Na Pali coast (Na Pali Catamaran in town runs a fine trip). Location is convenient to tennis (on premises), golf, Princeville supermarket, Hanalei, and all north coast wonders. Books, nice TV, Ukulele, sports gear are nice amenities. As I have "mobility challenges," accessibility features are a consideration. (so skip this section if not relevant). The condo building can be negotiated by semi-ambulatory stair climbers, but it is not for those in a wheelchair. No elevator - multi-level affair with several short runs of stairs. Unit itself is on 2 levels - kitchen, bedroom, baths are 2 small steps above LR/DR. it was a pleasure to work with owner, Sean, in arranging our visit. Overall, this was a terrific place for our family to stay on this lovely island and we would love to return. 5 of 5 stars Value 4 of 5 stars Comfort 4 of 5 stars Location 5 of 5 stars Cleanliness 5 of 5 stars Check-in 5 of 5 stars Service Traveling group: Family with Teenagers My age: 50-64 Would I recommend this vacation rental to my best friend? The condo was gorgeous, clean, and fully appointed, and the location and views were spectacular. It was the perfect home base for all of our adventures on beautiful Kauai. We can't wait to return!

Thank you so much Sean and Adrianna for sharing your beautiful home with us! My boys and I had a dream vacation that we will never forget, we would stay in your house again and again! The boys insist the snorkeling on the beach below was the best they experienced, Alex was swimming with 3 turtles the first time he got in, imagine his excitement! Avery loved all of the extras that you have provided including tennis rackets, the lovely pool, the beach toys, and of course, the huge TV! For me, it felt like time slowed down for us as we enjoyed the views, the sounds of the ocean, and the fresh air together. We had an adventure every day on the island and we came back re-charged and rested. Thank you so much, Melissa, Alex (15), and Avery (12).

Instead of reiterating all the positives that came before let me say I've stayed in 1st class resort hotels that didn't deliver the comfort, amenities and the view that the Lees' home away from home provides!!The best reference I can give is we chose this location for part of our honeymoon trip--and no Sean is not a relative who donated the condo as a present --we had the pleasure of renting the condo 7 years prior and swore we would return---and we did!!!

Sean, I am embarrassed by my delay in writing this note to you. Since our return from our trip the treadmill has been on super-fast and I have been remiss in acknowledging what an integral role you and your condominium at Puu Poa played in one of the most memorable trips we have had the good fortune to take. Your friendliness and enthusiasm while we arranged the rental were infectious and added to the sense of excitement leading up to our arrival. The condominium itself was wonderful in all regards--location, views, decor, appointments and personnel. The on-site manager as well as your condo overseer Carol were both as friendly and enthusiastic as you and made us feel quite at home. And of course the Island! To get up each morning, enjoy a cup of coffee on the patio as daylight arose, chat about where to explore that day, and then mosey out to another adventure! And what a delight to return each evening, sip wine and watch the light recede as surfers in the distance performed for us!! The helicopter tour was of course an enjoyable “must”. We were successful visiting and enjoying every recommended beach in the Ultimate Kauai book (every tourist’s island Bible). In addition, I must make special mention of the hike to the Hanakapi'ai Falls above the Kalalau trail, certainly a highlight of the trip (walking stick much more important than footwear); another highlight being the day we golfed at the Princeville course--late afternoon Tee time followed by an impromptu meal at the restaurant there: to die for views!!! Almost went again our last day and thought we could use the spa to shower up before our late night flight home, but ended up taking your advice about hanging out at the Hyatt then eating at the Beach House (wow to both)... So, a hearty THANK YOU for making your lovely condo available and for being such a wonderful ambassador for Kauai. Although the internet is replete with accolades about you and your condominium, please feel free to use us as a reference should the need arise. Mahalo Gassho John and Pam

Adrianna and Sean's home is beautiful and extraordinary in every way. We highly recommend this Kauai rental property as one that will exceed all expectations. Their home is wonderfully comfortable, clean, organized and beautifully decorated. We felt very welcomed and informed, as the owners provided great information and insights about the island and logistics of condominium residency. The "Aloha" book, authored by the owners, is spot on for anything you may need or want to know as a visitor. Other occupants and personnel we interfaced with were friendly and respectful. Our family mission for this visit was to welcome our son Adam to Kaual after he sailed (singlehanded) from San Francisco to Kauai in the TransPac 2010 race. His finish came 21 days/12 hours and 2,120 miles after he left the mainland!! We were so grateful and thrilled to open our arms and this beautiful home to him upon his arrival. Be sure to sign the "guest book" before you leave. It is a wonderful way to dialogue with this special couple about their special place. Thank you Adrianna and Sean for sharing your home with our family. As our son said, "this place has changed our destiny.......we WILL be back again and again." Sincerely, Charlene & Peter

Charlene and I just returned to Atlanta after having stayed in Adriana & Sean's beautiful condo for one amazing week. What a great place it was to greet our son after his completion of a single handed sail from San Francisco to Kauai! After 2,120 miles and three weeks at sea, Adam really appreciated the Five Star Accomodations as well as being with some live human beings...especially Kathe (his beautiful Girlfriend) & Charlene (his beautiful Mother). The property is spectacular in every way. Functional and decorated perfectly. Clean and efficient. The views and the sounds are hypnotic! Our family has decided to make Kauai a once a year port of call starting immediately and this will always be our home away from home. Thank you Adriana and Sean for facilitating such a special time for our family. We look forward to future interactions and the road ahead. Aloha PCC

This condo is perfect for a vacation on kauai with family or friends. The location, layout, amenities and the view are all better than the listing descriptions. This condo is beautifully decorated, clean and well-maintained. Sean and Adrianna are a pleasure to talk to and their correspondence and follow-through are top-notch. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone planning a trip to Kauai. We highly recommend the restaurants in Hanalei. Especially Baracuda, our #1, Hanalei Gourmet and the Dolphin. The Sunday brunch at The St. Regis next door was a real highlight on our trip. The other highlights were the snorkeling right in front of the condo, and the zip-line tour in Princeville.
Owner response:Aloha Nick, Adrianna and I are so happy that you and Carol had such a good time. Thank you for your kind review and come back to Kauai soon. Mahalo nui loa a hui kaua :)

This was our second stay at Sean & Adrianna's beautiful condo. We've stayed for two full weeks both years, and the condo really makes you feel right at home. Incredible deck (HUGE) with amazing views, on which we have breakfast and whale-watch each morning, and have cocktails late each afternoon. Beautiful new linens, additional great cooking utensils (sufficient for a very advanced cook), etc. The unit is very clean and comfortable. And, best of all, Sean and Adrianna are incredibly accommodating. We're thinking we'll try 3 weeks next year!

This condo has one of the most beautiful views I've ever seen. Truly breathtaking. We stayed for 10 days with our family the first visit and a second visit with "the girls". The condo is spacious and extremely well maintained. The small details - like directions to the local farmers markets and best places to eat and shop made it one of the most relaxing vacations ever. The interior is beautiful and comfortable with again, many details that make the stay special and memorable. I would highly recommend this condo.

My husband and I have been to Hawaii many times over the years and are avid snorkelers. Our stay of this condo was the most wonderful time we have ever had. We did not know about the Hideway beach just below us but when we found it we were thrilled. It has to be the most alive snoreling we have found and the most uncrowded. As for the condo it is EVERYTHING promised. Open, beautifuly decorated, with breath taking views. From the master bed you go to sleep with the waves and wake to one beautiful view. One important thing in Hawaii is catching the trade winds and this codo does that. The beds are great, the kitchen beautifully stocked and the surprise reading room is wonderful. One more thing, before you invest in boogie boards, chairs, ice chest etc: check out the Lanai closet. What a great surprise. Thank you Sean and Adrianna. Our only regret is that we cant stay there every year we go.

It is laid out for easy living with all the features and items of a perfect home. While there are many things to do for fun on the trails and Hanalei Beach, many sights to see close by, great places to eat and browse, we have not found anywhere in our experience that is more peaceful than this condo. In particular, sitting on the lanai is perfect for the relaxation that vacations are supposed to provide!

I went to Kauai with my husband and another couple. We stayed for a week and had a fantastic time. The condo itself was truly breathtaking. We towered above the ocean and could see up and down the coast. It felt like a little palace on the water. We spent as much time as we could, when we were in the condo, on one of the two huge decks. We saw whales and sea birds. I never wanted to leave. I loved the quiet, the views, the sweet private pool where I spent uninterrupted time reading. There is a beautiful beach below where my husband said had the best snorkeling on the island. There is also a tennis court where my husband and his best friend played everyday. With two couples sharing the cost, we were able to afford nights out of the town. The Princeville Hotel is right next door. We ate at their 5 Star restaurant on two occasions. I just can't say enough about how beautiful this place is. There are so many travel companies trying to get your business This place really delivers. If we ever go back to Hawaii, we'll stay there again.

I stayed at this property for a week with my wife. It was beyond beautiful. It sits on a cliff looking out over the ocean. There is a beautiful garden in front and a lovely swimming pool to the left. What is truly amazing is that a dirt path takes you down to the beach and it's like you've discovered a hidden treasure. The beach is very private. It was never crowed when we were there. The snorkeling is top notch and the water is crystal clear and warm. 100 yard away is the Princeville Hotel. All the amenities you could ever want are at your finger tips, but without having to spend your entire budget on an overpriced hotel room. We ate there when we weren't cooking our own meals. We rented sea kayaks and used the hotel as though we were guests. We truly had the best of both worlds. The condo itself is beautifully appointed, quiet, with stunning views. There is room for friends and family, but we wanted a romantic get away and it was perfect. I told one of my closest friends about it and he went with his wife and three kids. He said it was the best vacation of his life. I can't say enough about it. You will be amazed at the elegant beauty and serenity of this place even though it is right next to a five star hotel. We will definitely be going back. I loved it! I give it my highest recommendation.

We arrived here in April. It was warm and the water! The condo was as close to perfect as one could hope for. Stocked with everything on would need and more. It was very clean and the decorations are beautiful. The views from here are the most amazing. Ocean from one side and amazing mountains from the other. This place has a great location. It is only minutes from all the great things Kauai has to offer. We loved the beaches, pool, shopping and dining in town. Really friendly people everywhere. Absolutely worth visiting again and again.

Hi Sean and Adrianna! I just spoke with you about reserving our fifth stay at your beautiful condo. It is by far the most beautiful place we've stayed in Kauai (or the other islands for that matter)--And we've been visitng the island for over twenty years! The views are incredible and we've spent many hours watching whales and sunsets and rainbows from every room! The condo is beautifully decorated and has every ammenity you could wish for including flat screen TVs, a great well equipped kitchen, and every water toy you could think of. I also love the extra room that's a great den/third bedroom. We're so looking forward to our upcoming visit. Thank you! Laura & Jeffrey

The stay could not have been more perfect. The accomodations were emaculate, the view was amazing, and the beach below the cliff was just what we were looking for. To fall asleep to the sounds of the waves and to wake up seeing the ocean was a slice of paradise. The condo was spacious, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with necessities, and the lanai was the perfect back drop for a bar-b-que and a game of dominoes. Sean was very helpful and we look forward to bringing the family back to our "Happy Place!"

My family of 4 (kids aged 10 & 12) stayed at this condo in March 2008 for 2 weeks. This is without a doubt the nicest accomodations we have ever had while travelling. Everything was very clean and there was really nothing we needed. The condo is extremely well equipped. The views are outstanding and all of the people we met at the complex were very friendly and nice. The maintenance man of the complex was great and gave us tips on what to see and where to go. We spent most of our time while at the condo, on the lanai or in the pool and most days were the only family in the pool. We saw surfers and whales every day and would highly recommend this condo to anyone. It is right next to the Princeville resort and just a short drive or a good walk to grocery and ice cream stores, gas station and restaurants. We were very lucky to find this condo and the owners and would definitely go back. It really was fantastic. Aloha!!
Owner response:Thank you Karen you, Will and your family are always welcome at our home. We appreciate you kind review and hope you all can visit the island again some day. Take care, aloha. Sean and Adrianna

This unit has been upgraded in the dining room from their webpage with a beautiful wooden set with server. Lovely owners to work with as is Barbara the cleaning person. A stay here will make your visit a special memory.Very easy access, great shopping at Foodland, hot in afternoon w/sun in atrium, but your not in unit then, ceiling fans great.Beachwalk next to unit, is steep some steps, worn path but beautiful beach.Sunsets out your front or easy 20 min drive to KEE BEACH,or use Princeville living room!!You will not be disappointed renting this unit. Again, thanks for the memories.

Owner response:Thank you Matthew for your kind message. Come back and see us again soon. Sean
