Beautiful Condo in Great Location

Beautiful condo in great location. Minutes from the main streets. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. Everything was within walking distance (ie. chinatown, shopping, souvenir and gift shops,restaurants, the waterfront, etc). Great places to eat included John's Place for Breakfast (right across the parking lot), Don Mee for Dim Sum (10 min walk), Ric's Steak and Seafood (20 min walk), and of course, Barb's Fish and Chips (20-30 min walk) to the waterfront. No need for a car, unless you are sightsighting at other parts of the island. We travelled to Sooke on a daily basis (30 min) and drove to Tofino to see the surfers (6 hours one way), but great views of the snow-capped mountains and trees. Would recommend to any traveller. Hated to leave as well.

What you see is what you get....a beautiful, clean condo. Walking distance to many great restaurants and activities. Victoria is amazing. It was perfect place to stay for our family. The owner and his agent were very helpful and very easy to deal with. Thank you for your hospitality.

Buena Vista Penthouse

The condo is beautiful, quiet and is very comfortable. It was easy to walk to cafes, shops and buses. We were quite pleased. Views from every window (and there are many!) were lovely.

Beautiful Buena Vista!

We had just stayed at this Condo for a week in May 2011 and were sad to leave it behind. There are so many great things about this place that it would be almost impossible to dissapoint. The suite is exceptionally clean and decorated with modern taste and has a comfortable feel. We very much appreciated the gourmet kitchen since travelling with a small child makes nutritious home cooking difficult to have in hotels. The view over looking the harbour was stunning and a great way to start the day and end the night. The building is well secured and in a great location. It was walking distance to shops and restaurants which was perfect since we didn't have to rent a car to get around. There is a washer/dryer stacker in the unit which was very useful and it was stocked with detergent & all cleaning necessities for the place. This suite has everything you would want to have for it to be an enjoyable vacation. I highly recommend Buena Vista to anyone visiting victoria. Thank you again Arnold for your understanding and kindness! And thank you Polo for your patience and warm hospitality. We would love to come back again.

A beautiful condo with top of the line furniture and appliances. Immaculately clean and well maintained. Rarely used a vehicle. Handy to everything. Would highly recommend this unit!

We stayed in this property for 8 nights and the location is excellent, it's a 5 to 10 minute walk to the inner harbor and all the sites and sounds of the city. The view is fabulous, I loved watching the float planes land in the inner harbor from the living room windows. The property was clean and well maintained and having laundry on site is a plus. The reserved underground parking is wonderful as parking can be a problem (like most cities). We really didnt drive our car unless we were going on an adventure out of town. I hope to visit Victoria again and will definately try to stay here on a future visit. Thanks for sharing your home with us. Juli

Great location, clean, and new

We stayed at Buena Vista in April 2011, and were pleased to find an excellent home away from home. Leopoldo very kindly showed us around. The apartment is exactly as it appears in the photos. The rooms are tastefully decorated, appliances and other furniture are brand new, and everything was spotless. The wireless Internet connection and parking spot allow seamless transition to a 'home' environment. The location is very good, being on the edge of the downtown core and 10 minutes walk from most downtown sights. There is a rather dilapidated motel on the same street, but otherwise the location was pleasant. We are a family with small children and having a kitchen and larger living space than a hotel was highly beneficial. We had a wonderful time at Buena Vista.

Visiting Victoria from the Maritimes

We recently stayed here the last two weeks of February. It was a fantastic value and was just like the pictures shown. The owner was very accommodating and was a good sport about waiting for our flights from the east. The property was well kept and our children loved the view, balcony and eating at the breakfast bar in the morning. The location was awesome and our young kids loved walking around in the local area. The local area had plenty of great places to shop, eat and enjoy a cup of coffee.The security of the building was very good and the under ground parking was very accessible. A fantastic place to stay and we hope to return for another stay.

Great Spot

We enjoyed a three night stay just after Christmas. Located off the main streets yet convenient to everything, the condo and building are perfectly located, modernly furnished and well appointed. You can just park your car in the secure parking garage and walk to everything. It was perfect for our stay and we hope to do it again. It's a shame that the Washington State Ferry System might reduce service to Sidney to just the summer months; since Victoria is so much fun during the holidays we try to come every year.

Comfortable Victoria Condo

This peaceful and secure condo is well appointed, efficiently laid out and includes almost everything one would need for a short-term stay. We were met in person upon arrival and and introduced to the condo; Nancy and Polo were helpful, prompt and very hospitable. We also enjoyed the walk to and from the downtown area and appreciated being a little bit removed from the city center. Views from one side of the condo are beautiful and overlook the city hall, bay and beyond.

We enjoyed one of the most relaxing and upscale vacations ever. This property is fabulous. It is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The appointments are wonderful. Tastefully decorated and functional. The views are breathtaking and the property is located within walking distance of anything you could want. The building is quiet and well secured so you feel safe. Underground parking makes your stay painless. We would come back over and over again. It was everything it was advertised to be. You will not be disappointed.

We just returned from Buena Vista and hated to leave. The building is brand new and the condo was very clean when we arrived. The west side faces the harbor with a great view. The sound of the Seagulls and the cruise ship horns is very relaxing. we were also pleased with the amenities. We arrived to find nice whole bean coffee with sugar and cream. A blender, which was nice since we make health shakes for breakfast, an ironing board, and of course the washer and dryer. The location is right on the edge of where you want to be and within easy walking distance to inner harbor and everything in between. There was a bus line within half a block and three rental car companies also within walking distance.

The condo was just perfect. We enjoyed almost three beautiful weeks in Victoria and this condo was perfect for all our needs. We lacked for nothing. The bus was only 1 block away and the transist system outstanding once you get a schedule and figure out directions. We were greeted with the keys both when we checked in and out. The building is extremely secure and the views were just beautiful. We enjoyed the views of the ships and sea planes taking off and landing. Also, you are eye level with the birds. Thanks so much! We will return.

The accommodations were beautiful and offered everything the web suggested. We had great proximity to all of Victoria's attractions and the view was very nice. The ammenities offered within the unit were all top quality and the owners were very accommodating to our requests. The caretaker was there to greet us and was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this property.

We had a wonderful time in Victoria, and this condo was a perfect choice for us. It is in close walking distance to downtown, breathtaking views of the harbor, and was beautiful and comfortable for my husband and I, and 2 teenagers. This condo delivered all that the pictures promised. The view of the inner and outer harbours, the mountains and hills that enclose Victoria, and the ever changing cloud scapes were a treat. The appointments of the condo provided a comfortable space. If location is everything then this condo has it:all destinations in the downtown district are within walking distance; the bus system can be counted on to get you to outlying places. We were there for three months and felt that Victoria was a perfect escape from the winter weather of Halifax. It was grand not to have to worry about snow or ice underfoot.If you are going to be here for a time without a car the . 30/31 bus takes you to Thrifty's grocery store; they deliver your purchases that afternoon. The 7/11,a block and a half away, is good for long distance calling cards, and bus tickets. Enjoy, enjoy.

My family and I loved staying at Buena Vista while we waited for the arrival of our new baby girl! The condo was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Also the building has lots of security especially in the underground parking. We enjoyed being downtown in walking distance to shopping, dinning and attractions. The managers and owners were very accommodating to our situation and needs. I would stay at this property again and highly recommend it. Thank you again for everything!!!!!!

Very well maintained,clean,quiet and relaxing place to stay. We thought the location made it easy to get to all tha attractions we wanted to see by car. We had a lovely dinner at Cafe Brio-try to get there before 6:15pm to enjoy ther chef 's menu with a three course dinner for a very reasonable price. The managers were professional and very willing to accomodate our needs. Highly recommend this place to traveling adults!!

After the heat and drought at home it was fantastic to experience cool and rainy weather! Of course having wonderful accommodations contributed over 50% to our wonderful time in Victoria BC! My mother loved her room and we loved ours; the three of us loved the entire living area. I wholeheartedly agree with all the other comments. Our first use of a VRBO property is off to a great start; this one set a standard that will be tough to beat or even match!

My wife and I loved the place! We had a very nice time (even though it rained almost every day). It was always nice to be able to come back to the condo and know that we'd have a nice and relaxing place to come home to. The condo was quiet, clean and conveniently located; it was within walking distance to many attractions. Enjoyed the meals at Johns across the street - excellent food! We'd definately look to stay at your place again! Thanks for everything!

The condo was perfect. Super clean with top of the line appliances, linens, and furniture. Great location, within walking distance to the harbour but not too close to hear traffic and other noise. The communication was excellent both before and after booking. Also check-in and check-out were easy and convenient. Highly recommend this property.
