Imagine yourself in the private spa under the oaks and pines after a grand day of skiing on the nearby slopes. Or, simply relax in the warm sunshine in the spring and summer after a day at the lake.
You will discover that the bedrooms offered here provide a perfect plan for easily shared space with another family or couple. There is a very private master bedroom (King bed) retreat on it's own level with it's own fireplace and bath. This is the floorplan that allows you to vacation easily with others and enjoy plenty of privacy mixed in with the good times!

- Twin/Single Bed : There is a single bed in the loft with room for additional cots or sleeping bags. (There is also a Queen in the loft as noted above).

- Private Hot Tub : Luxury hot tub with adjustable jets and special feature seating is located on lower deck, nestled in the trees and great for night time star gazing. It will comfortably fit six adults.

So far we have used this cabin for our annual family get togethers. It has been one of the events my kids and their cousins look forward to twice a year. In the winter the property is so large u can actually sled there. We barely ever leave the cabin for an entire week, and because the cabin is so cozy and family friendly it makes for a great VERY RELAXING VACATION. In the summer we make our way back to the same cabin with the same three families and kids to enjoy the hiking, the lake, and of course the relaxation of the cabin. We plan on going to big bear for years to come and I can imagine spending it at any other cabin! We have been to other cabins but nothing beats the beauty, comfort, location, and coziness of the " CABIN IN THE WOODS".

This cabin is like something out of a movie. A cozy log cabin in style, but real nice in terms of amenities. When I am inside this cabin, it's like I've been transported to another world, it is so comfortable and aesthetically beautiful. Great for a large group, great to promote "fellowship".

This cabin is so romantic! We are relationship specialists (write and speak on it)so we KNOW romantic when we experieince it:the jacuzzi under the stars , the beautiful, cozy comfortable cabin decor, the fireplace to snuggle in front of-- in a magnificient mountain setting. Love it!

We welcome you to visit our cozy cabin in the woods. It has been a great source of joy for our family and we hope it will be for you as well. The authentic log style coupled with the large wooded lot set back from the street and nestled in dozens of pines - some over a century old creates an atmosphere to truly take you away to a place of rest, relaxation...and of course lots of fun.
