"How close to the beach are you?" is the most often asked question we receive. The condominium is located just a short walk from the Atlantic Ocean and Beach.WE ARE IN THE SECTION OF QUEEN'S GRANT THAT IS CLOSEST TO THE OCEAN, A FIVE MINUTE WALK. Please read the reviews by our past renters for an unbiased opinion of our location and amenities.
There are three championship golf courses in Palmetto Dunes Resort; the Robert Trent Jones golf course borders our villa. In this short block, you will find a Five-Star Restaurant, general store, and an outdoor outfitter with bikes, kayaks, and much more.
The two-story foyer, with its lovely tiled flooring, is the main entrance providing access to the second floor stairway, the kitchen, the living/dining room, and a convenient powder room. The tiled flooring extends into the fully equipped kitchen which has a door to the service court, and both a door and a pass through window to the dining room.
The adjacent living/dining room features a separate dining area with tile flooring and a table with seating for 6. The spacious living room is carpeted and has a comfortable seating group for 8 and an entertainment center with LCD TV with a DVR and DVD.If you are using the sofa bed for one of our guests there is storage( four drawers) for their clothes. A nice feature is the full-wall window that includes a slider door to the outside deck offering a tranquil landscaped view.
The deck is just steps away from one of the 5 pools at the resort, and a walking path along the golf course.Just off of the living room is the master bed room, which has a king size bed with memory foam topper,a 32" flat screen TV, double closets, and a private bath with a walk-in shower. This room also has a slider door providing access to the large deck.As you can see by our photos our deck has a picturesque view which ever way you look. It is completely private and very quiet. There is a gas grill available if you should feel ambitious. Everything you need to cook a great meal is in the kitchen including the magarita glasses!
On the second floor, a balcony landing overlooks the entrance foyer and leads to the two guest bedrooms. One bedroom has two twin beds.,and the other has a queen bed. They share a connecting bath with a bathtub and shower.
Palmetto Dunes is a 2000 acre oceanfront resort that reaches from the three miles of white sandy beach, through 11 miles of lagoons, three golf courses, and 25 tennis courts, to the bikeway under Highway 278 that provides access to the Shelter Cove Marina, shops, restaurants, and Mall. The Queens Grant section of the resort has an five on-site pools.

Our unit has been newly painted and decorated. It is our second home, and we have made it comfortable for OUR needs. We hope to share it with you.

Mike and I are retired teachers and live in Eastham on Cape Cod. We love outdoor activities. Here on the Cape we are involved in responding to stranded seals, dolphins and pilot whales. In the summer we are part of the National Seashore seal education team. Best of all we enjoy life with our grandchildren, who love the Cape and Hilton Head.
Why the Owner Chose Queen's Grant
After vacationing on Hilton Head for 3 years and enjoying the biking,ocean, tennis and golf we decided to purchase there. Our family and friends think it was a great idea!!

Our fall getway to HH was fabulous...just what we needed to extent our summer! The tasteful decor and extra ammeneites made this place special. The privacy of the deck and pool was really nice, yet the proximity of the beach, resturants and shopping was perfect. Can't wait for next year to return to this condo that I now feel really is my "home away from home".

Cathy, Just a quick note to express our thanks for a truly enjoyable week at Palmetto Dunes. The accommodations were great! Didn't take advantage of the bikes, boogie boards, etc. but we did use the beach chairs every day. The Dunes Buggy rides were really convenient also. Things we wanted to bring to your attention, that you may or may not be aware of are: 1) The cleanliness of the metal toilet paper holders in all bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom in particular under the toilet paper holder, on the wallpaper, needs to cleaned. Also the towel bars should be cleaned. When seeing this I was left to wonder how clean the showers were. This is just my opinion, but I think things are just being wiped off, not cleaned, or just overlooked. 2) We were greeted by numerous palmetto bugs. lol I don't know if you have someone that sprays on a regular basis or as needed, but thought that you might want to be aware of that. 3) The bottom stove drawer was off track and a piece of the round wooden towel bar in half bath was broken off. Only mentioning this to make you aware that this is how we found it. None of the above things mentioned took away from our vacation, it was fabulous!! We just thought you would want to know. If I was paying a cleaning service I would want to know that I was getting what was being paid for. I'm not sure you are. We would love to come back in the future:) As mentioned above the accommodations were great. The privacy of the deck, steps to the pool, all of the extras that were available, made renting from you a pleasurable experience!! You were a pleasure to work with during the entire rental process as well. Thanks again Tim & Debbie

HI Cathy, We had a great week. The weather was sunny and hot. Some rain would have been nice! We loved your place and will check with you in the future about staying there again. The location was nice (we liked not having to drive through the gate and it being toward the front and not having to drive a long distance to get to our house). The decor was lovely and the new carpet and tile was nice and clean. We did use some of the boogie boards and chairs. Having a key outside was nice. It would be great if you could key the sliding doors. I liked the shower in the master bath. It was much nicer than a tub/shower. We ate at the Frosty Frog in Coligny Plaza...terrible. Loud and the food was terrible. We loved the Sweet Carolina Cupcakes...wow. The salted caramel was my favorite. The fish tacos at the Dune House were very good. La Hacinda is our favorite Mexican place. Alexander's was good but expensive. It's Greek to Me was ok. Won't go there again. I can't remember now the other places we visited. We did miss the Harbour Town sunsets but not much else from Sea Pines. Thanks again, Marsha

My family of five enjoyed a wonderful week on Hilton Head Island staying at this Queen's Grant villa. The property was very clean, spacious, and well appointed. The location was a convenient walk to the beach, general store, tennis resort, and golf clubhouse. Having bicycles, abundant beach supplies, daily tennis , and linens was an added plus.
Recommended for:Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

We stayed here for a month in January and loved it! The location is ideal for biking or walking. All the beach gear was amazing! I've been to Hilton Head at least 15 times and never saw a place stocked with as much beach gear. Our favorite feature was the amount of space. We really liked the open layout of the first floor, including the large master bedroom/bath. The bedrooms and closets were spacious. It felt much more like a full-size home than a beach villa. This is perfect for longer stays. My only critique would be that the washer/dryer were not full-size. Thanks, we have a wonderful time and would highly recommend your place!

Hi Cathy We made it here and everything is great. The WiFi is working nicely and we so appreciate that. Love the carpet in the living room....so warm and cozy. My husband checked out the TV first thing and having digital cable and all the channels makes him very satisfied! The bed is amazingly comfortable. If you remember what kind of mattresses you bought, let us know so we can buy the same. I'm sleeping like a baby

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and stay in this villa. The location is ideal - close to tennis and the beach. It was a great launching point for exploring the island, then coming back to plenty of space to relax and unwind. The deck was a real plus - sun or shade most of the day - loved starting with breakfast on the deck and catching up on reading. We were grateful for the use of beach chairs and umbrella. This place combines comfort and a great location for a wonderful Hilton Head stay.
