Cathy, Just a quick note to express our thanks for a truly enjoyable week at Palmetto Dunes. The accommodations were great! Didn't take advantage of the bikes, boogie boards, etc. but we did use the beach chairs every day. The Dunes Buggy rides were really convenient also. Things we wanted to bring to your attention, that you may or may not be aware of are: 1) The cleanliness of the metal toilet paper holders in all bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom in particular under the toilet paper holder, on the wallpaper, needs to cleaned. Also the towel bars should be cleaned. When seeing this I was left to wonder how clean the showers were. This is just my opinion, but I think things are just being wiped off, not cleaned, or just overlooked. 2) We were greeted by numerous palmetto bugs. lol I don't know if you have someone that sprays on a regular basis or as needed, but thought that you might want to be aware of that. 3) The bottom stove drawer was off track and a piece of the round wooden towel bar in half bath was broken off. Only mentioning this to make you aware that this is how we found it. None of the above things mentioned took away from our vacation, it was fabulous!! We just thought you would want to know. If I was paying a cleaning service I would want to know that I was getting what was being paid for. I'm not sure you are. We would love to come back in the future:) As mentioned above the accommodations were great. The privacy of the deck, steps to the pool, all of the extras that were available, made renting from you a pleasurable experience!! You were a pleasure to work with during the entire rental process as well. Thanks again Tim & Debbie

HI Cathy, We had a great week. The weather was sunny and hot. Some rain would have been nice! We loved your place and will check with you in the future about staying there again. The location was nice (we liked not having to drive through the gate and it being toward the front and not having to drive a long distance to get to our house). The decor was lovely and the new carpet and tile was nice and clean. We did use some of the boogie boards and chairs. Having a key outside was nice. It would be great if you could key the sliding doors. I liked the shower in the master bath. It was much nicer than a tub/shower. We ate at the Frosty Frog in Coligny Plaza...terrible. Loud and the food was terrible. We loved the Sweet Carolina Cupcakes...wow. The salted caramel was my favorite. The fish tacos at the Dune House were very good. La Hacinda is our favorite Mexican place. Alexander's was good but expensive. It's Greek to Me was ok. Won't go there again. I can't remember now the other places we visited. We did miss the Harbour Town sunsets but not much else from Sea Pines. Thanks again, Marsha

Cathy, Had a great time. The place was great. One of the kitchen light bulbs burned out. I don't know if you have someone replace those kind of things. Great location to the pool! We're definitely keeping info for rental in the future. Nicely decorated. Thanks, Erika

My family of five enjoyed a wonderful week on Hilton Head Island staying at this Queen's Grant villa. The property was very clean, spacious, and well appointed. The location was a convenient walk to the beach, general store, tennis resort, and golf clubhouse. Having bicycles, abundant beach supplies, daily tennis , and linens was an added plus.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

Hi Cathy We made it here and everything is great. The WiFi is working nicely and we so appreciate that. Love the carpet in the living room....so warm and cozy. My husband checked out the TV first thing and having digital cable and all the channels makes him very satisfied! The bed is amazingly comfortable. If you remember what kind of mattresses you bought, let us know so we can buy the same. I'm sleeping like a baby

We stayed here for a month in January and loved it! The location is ideal for biking or walking. All the beach gear was amazing! I've been to Hilton Head at least 15 times and never saw a place stocked with as much beach gear. Our favorite feature was the amount of space. We really liked the open layout of the first floor, including the large master bedroom/bath. The bedrooms and closets were spacious. It felt much more like a full-size home than a beach villa. This is perfect for longer stays. My only critique would be that the washer/dryer were not full-size. Thanks, we have a wonderful time and would highly recommend your place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and stay in this villa. The location is ideal - close to tennis and the beach. It was a great launching point for exploring the island, then coming back to plenty of space to relax and unwind. The deck was a real plus - sun or shade most of the day - loved starting with breakfast on the deck and catching up on reading. We were grateful for the use of beach chairs and umbrella. This place combines comfort and a great location for a wonderful Hilton Head stay.

This is our 8th year to go to Hilton Head and we usually stay in a smaller place. We needed a much bigger place this year because we had 4 teenagers going. This was a wonderful place with plenty of room. Having the pool so close was a plus and the beach was a quick 5 minute walk. It was so nice to have all of the beach chairs and the boogy boards that were provided. The condo felt like home away from home. Can't wait to go back.

This was our first time in Hilton Head and we loved every minute. This villa is so warm and welcoming that we started to relax the minute we arrived. It is spacious and we loved all the little touches that make it feel like home. The beds are comfortable and it is so quiet you feel you are in the middle of nowhere when actually you are near the beach, the golfing, the bike trails, even the store. Thank you Mike and Cathy for having the chairs and other items available. It made it so easy. The only hard part was the leaving!

The house was absolutely great--great location, great layout, and easy access to everything!! Owner's supply beach gear, bikes, grill and so much more..enhancing the stay tremendously. Highly recommended and can't wait to return!!!

This was our first trip to Hilton Head and we loved it. The condo more than met our needs - it had all the amenities we could ask for, it was very spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated and felt very much like a home away from home. Much better than your average rental! Having the pool so close was a huge plus for our children and riding bikes to the beach was a treat. Where else can you sit in your beach chair and watch the dolphins swimming offshore? We hope to go back to Hilton Head and would definitely want to stay here again. Thanks so much!!

Our stay at the Giblin's home was wonderful! The pool is right out the back door; we usually had it to ourselves! We especially liked all the shade in Queen's Grant. The house was just as stated in the VRBO description. We really enjoyed our vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay at the villa, we have stayed in ShipYards a couple times, but thought this was much nicer! Enjoyed the location, privacy of deck and pool area, riding bikes to the beach was great. We had a wonderful time...a bit on the warm side!!! The color changes in the condo are so pretty and the additional items available for use are very convenient!! Thank you! Our fall getway to HH was fabulous...just what we needed to extent our summer! The tasteful decor and extra ammeneites made this place special. The privacy of the deck and pool was really nice, yet the proximity of the beach, resturants and shopping was perfect. Can't wait for next year to return to this condo that I now feel really is my "home away from home".

My family and I enjoyed a week in June at this villa. My children, ages 7and 5, loved having the pool so close. It was very quiet and they felt that it was their personal pool. Adults read the paper and had coffee while the kids swam. Another favorite of theirs was to ride to the beach on their bikes. They were especially thrilled because they had never ridden a bike ON the beach before! We made use of the boogie and skim boards, even used some of the pool toys. It was great not having to back those things. The villa had plenty of room for us,and the walk/ride to the beach was short. We plan to return to HH and this villa.

The condo was very nice, and we all had a very pleasant vacation. Having extra bikes and sand chairs was convenient also. We liked the central location of the unit, and the back deck was large and private. Being close to the pool was great for the kids. A pleasant stay. Thanks!

We recently spent a week at the Giblins'condo. The place is beautifully decorated,very spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed relaxing on your quiet deck. Not to be missed is riding bikes on the beach at low tide. It was great to be located so close to the beach. Great for finding shells. We plan on coming back every spring!

Mike and I have just returned from a 2 week stay in our new villa. As new owners, we had never stayed here before. We found that we were completely satisfied in our choice of villas. The outside of the villa is very important to us. We will be spending quiet time there. We found the deck to be quiet,and private with peacefulf views. We added new deck furniture so you can enjoy eating outside and lounging in the sun. The kitchen was well supplied , though we added a vegetable steamer, corkscrew and a few larger utensils. If you find that something else is needed please let us know. We enjoyed the large master bedroom, on the first floor. It had plenty of closet space and a spacious master bath.It has a 2nd tv which we never really used. The beds were comfortable! That was a great relief. We recently rented someone's unit in Maui and had a back ache every morning. It was nice to access the deck from the bedroom. We hardly ever use air( though it is available) and slept with the window open. It was very peaceful in the morning waking to the sound of the birds. We bought 2 bikes and used them everyday. We have left them for your use also. We never got to use the wave kayak( too busy painting), but it is there waiting for you to use.We have left the owner's closet open so you can use the sand chairs, and other beach supplies. I know I always appreciate it when I rent and have those things are available to use. Our unit is close to a path that goes along the golf course. This was our shortest route to walk to the beach, and we sometimes rode the bikes that way also.It brings you to the clubhouse and just cut across the parking lot to the left side of the tennis courts.We hope you will be enjoy our villa as much as we did. It really is our home away from home.

I recently stayed in this unit. Totally enjoyed the deck and its peacefulness. Enjoyed walking to the beach. Used the bikes to ride along the beach every evening. The unit must have been newly painted in soft beachy colors.Hope to return next year.
